You'd think so, considering they've tweaked it a couple times semi-recently (the notifications section and the status bar... or lack there of).
I'm of the opinion that if something isn't broken, don't fix it. And I haven't had issues with the client at all since I started playing. Maybe it's not the best, but I don't call it broken.

Of course, if there's a slight possibility that Riot's working on it's client, the progress on it will be stalled with all the hacking / DDOS attacks they've been dealing with.

Oh god, I cried today..
So the enemy team left Kassadin open (7th time this season for me, lol) and I picked it.. and got stomped by a Karma in lane. Like, really hard.
I sucked so freaking hard, thank god my team carried me and we eventually won.. but damn.. I suck.

But yeah, a good karma is pretty annoying to deal with.
Her poke is simply amazing, and if she lands a w (while trying to set up her jungler or whoever for a gank), you're probably pretty much dead.

I suppose Karma is sorta like Nidalee in team fights.
Her job is to poke the enemy team down and hopefully her team has the ability to clean them up.

Nidalee can clean in here cougar form , karma can't clean up but she has a shield and movementspeed buff instead

Not a lot of team comps can benefit from empowered shield.

Using empowered shield means you're gonna have even less burst for a while.

Not using empowered shield means you have to be either that much ahead or in/against a right team comp to be able to go back and forth into fairly close range utilizing your poke, missing hp regen and snare.

Even though Karma's kit changed a lot after rework, in general she still is a team reliant lane bully.

There's really no reason to pick Karma in this meta. Her poke is mediocre, play Nidalee or Gragas for poke. Her burst is awful and she has subpar mobility so she isn't an assassin. Her utility is subpar too, play Orianna for utility instead. And there are many matchups that can go even or win vs Karma so she's not even the best lane bully. Imo until the meta shifts to supportive midlaners, the only way she would be viable is if she was reworked to support.

The problem is, that Gragas will still be viable...this nerf isn't a real nerf, and that's kinda wondering me...
Same for Kassa, he still has his sick AP ratios. :p

Gragas nerf won't do much. Riot is nerfing him the wrong way (no surprise).
He needs to lose most if not all the random tank stats from both his passive and W before nerfs start to hurt him. Can even buff him to compensate for losing tankyness.

Kassadin needs to be remade. Stupid kit that will either be brokenly overpowered or straight up useless.

I actually think Kha'Zix was in a good place. Q nerf is fine, but the .6 ratio from his E will hurt him some. 2 second stealth ulti is interesting though.

Yeah, lowering the ratio is the worst way to address his ult. The problem is not in the damage, the problem that it's high damage, instant and dirupting at the same time.

Even something as simple as making it like 0.66 ap +0.7 current base instant and 0.33+0.3 current base dps over 3 seconds would make it a lot more counterplayable while still powerful. Obviously just giving this as an example.

Gragas' whole kit is close to be balanced. Even the 15% reduction is not that much overpowered, it's the fact that the kit doesn't require you to put yourself in danger to do your big damage unless you're cleaning up.

I believe that his kit can be balanced through numbers, just not damage numbers alone.

High damage, High mobility, Medium-high utility, and very disruptive all while being played similar to an assassin. Low risk very high reward.
If they are going to nerf Ahri for this then there is no excuse for Gragas to stay how he is.

He has way too much going on for him. Just saying his damage isn't the problem. It's the random tankyness (from his passive and W) combo'd with a movement displacement and an attack speed slow. 1 of the 3 needs to be toned down a lot.

Oh god. The Doran's Shield nerf will make me have a much harder time in my lane against match ups like Renekton (Riven main). Also saw somewhere the Boots of Lucidity is also getting a nerf to it's CDR, making it another nerf to her :/.
By the way, wasn't Draven getting a nerf on his passive? They've done nothing about that yet. If the dude stacks his Q fast and get's an early kill he's untouchable for the rest of the laning phase

Not just LCS it's the same for every competitive league tourny ever with a few off picks here and there. Champion variety is not something that will ever be a thing in this game as long as they keep the same balance philosophy.

It has been better this season though.

Also yes I agree about the lcs games being boring. I hate this meta where top lane is an unkillable farmfest and the whole game depends on mid and jungle. Honestly riot should buff ad carry items so they can be more than just tower killers and not get oneshot by an unkillable shyvana. The only reason ranged ad is even played anymore is to kill towers. It's actually more efficient to play double bruiser or aggressive support + bruiser bot lane if you don't take into consideration the lack of tower pushing power.

One of the reasons why dota doesn't have a stale metagame is because carries are actually carries instead of glorified cannon minions

To be fair, an unattended adc still wrecks everyone pretty fast the closer it gets to lategame and an unkillable Shyvanna oneshot is not always a thing.

Ziggs is an interesting substitute to an adc bot lane by the way. He can damage towers really well with his passive while being just as much of a lane bully as mid lane and bringing that obnoxious poke to sieges. Building chalice bot lane doesn't add nearly as much trading potential as it does mid tho.

Why all the hate towards Fiora? Just played a game with a Plat III Fiora mid boosting a scrublord with 40% ranked winrate that deserved Bronze V, she proceeded to win lane and carried the game. What are her flaws despite having no escapes? She has a fuckton of dmg, can out-duel anyone except of jax I think, and the only way to counter her ult is Thornmail which you won't be getting in an assassin anyway. She also holds a steady 54% winrate in Diamond.

Parry is a pretty minor part of Fiora in common matchups tbh. Like, block Parrley or Jax's third/empowered attack or Nasus' q and stuff like that once in a while and just spam it in most situations.

You're not even supposed to max it unless you're in a matchup your opponent relies on those specific autoattacks to get your hp down.

Fiora has no real throwback build, it's either full damage or nothing.

She doesn't have a good way of incorporating cdr into her build aside from black cleaver, meaning you need even more damage to be meaningful between gapcloser+steroid cooldown windows.

She doesn't have a reliable kiting ability (need to hit something before the movement speed increases) along with having no hard escape while being a melee burst fighter (???)

And even her ultimate can sometimes be used to reposition her in enemy team's favor.




She's almost in the same place as Poppy with some tweaks. She relies on items while having no reliable laning phase. Except Fiora's laning is a bit less terrible with no big items and Poppy is more durable lategame even though they both have only active durability.

I like Fiora and I wouldn't like seeing her changed to be honest, but I wouldn't expect to win lane with her unless I am against someone who sucks dicks on daily basis for non-sexual orientation reasons or I get in weird 2v2 situations.

She doesn't have a good way of incorporating cdr into her build aside from black cleaver, meaning you need even more damage to be meaningful between gapcloser+steroid cooldown windows.

She doesn't have a reliable kiting ability (need to hit something before the movement speed increases) along with having no hard escape while being a melee burst fighter (???)

And even her ultimate can sometimes be used to reposition her in enemy team's favor.




She's almost in the same place as Poppy with some tweaks. She relies on items while having no reliable laning phase. Except Fiora's laning is a bit less terrible with no big items and Poppy is more durable lategame even though they both have only active durability.

I like Fiora and I wouldn't like seeing her changed to be honest, but I wouldn't expect to win lane with her unless I am against someone who sucks dicks on daily basis for non-sexual orientation reasons or I get in weird 2v2 situations.
How do you explain her high winrate tho... I had no way to win my lane too, I was talon and she would always win trades and my harassment (W) ended up with her jumping on me and doing a fuckton of dmg from lvl 4 already. My jungler ganks also failed :/ she eventually ended up getting a kill on me and other kills from roaming

Her win rates come from low popularity resulting in slightly higher percent of pickers who know how to dodge the dicks flying in the direction of your mouth.

Talon's skillset sucks against her, okay, but that just means that you don't trade with her pre 6 and farm with your raking blades and only harras from max range of W quickly backing off. You can fight her longer is she loses Q or E due to slow being effective now, but she won't have reason to do so if you play safe. After 6 you can get much more significant damage on her during silence but still not likely to win 1v1 unless you succeeded in max range harrasing without running out of mana somehow and she didn't back.

Thing is, Talon kinda sucks against point and clicks or jumpers and Fiora is both.

I remeber days where people would go "nerf Irelia!" on a regular basis. Now people go "who dat?".

I sill think Irelia is a decent pick. She has a lot of issues, but those probably won't ever be fixed until the bruiser rehaul.
She does well against some matchups but in the long run people would rather just spam Renekton and Shyvana who do well against almost every matchup.

Because she would get randomly nerfed in previous patches, Riot were just nerfing Irelia for the sake of it rather then dealing with the real issues.

After spamming Renekton last season, nothing worked out for me so I gave up on trying to do well with him. D= I'd take Irelia over him any day.
