Exactly and he is correct. Not saying that all reworks are done because of this, because they aren't.
There are different levels to a rework. Warwick falls into the lack of counterplay (not saying it doesn't exist) and unfun to play against and potentially to play as category. He is very binary. He is also outdated too. He needs a relaunch seeing as his model and default splash are terrible.

I think its popular because its extremely challenging, and ever-changing. Every match is different, and forces the person playing to adapt and change their strategies based on character choices, skill of team mates and opponents, etc. You have to earn every step you take, and that is not only engaging but extremely satisfying; its something you dont see online now-a-days, where most MMO games hand you items and levels by the heaps for running around.

Another big selling point is the fact that there are tons and tons of characters to choose from, all of which are very different from one another. And even so, the same character might have different builds or strategies, again based on players and skills. It leads to a nearly endless combination of ways to play.

They really need better servers (for every region). It's not like they don't have the money to support it or anything.

On a side note I played some bot games with some friends when the server was lagging and it was pretty hilarious. LOL

dw it's nothing too major, base movement speed (in combat) has been lowered but the out-of-combat speed boost still remains the same, so it's not a big deal for junglers. Also the costs are lower now so I'd actually call it a small buff because you can buy them even earlier in the game without sacrificing a lot of money

Pretty much what brokenarrow said. They didn't touch the reason you buy mobility boots in the first place. So yeah it's kind of a buff.

That ruby crystal change is kinda awesome though.

I will have to try them out before thinking if it's a buff or debuff. That -20 speed scares me a bit

Also got promoted to diamond II , spamming Lee is the best thing I could've done in soloQ.

It's a buff when you take diminishing returns into consideration.

It's more of a nerf to supports taking the boots as opposed to junglers.

She's not invincible. The only time when you're invincible is when you're in Statis, you're the target of Intervention, or you're dead.

Just noticed my normal MMR is so high that I get matched with the same people almost every game in solo queue. Not to mention the queue times. :(

Kinda sad I'm going to have to play ranked to avoid 20-30 min queue times for normals. LOL

Can I ask you guys about your league mouse settings? last season I used mouse acceleration to get to plat 4, but after shifting in the pre-season to mostly osu!, I found that I play better with mouse acceleration off.

So I went and played league again the other day, and I feel like a complete retard when using the y-function. Also, my mouse feels slow... What should I do? Are the mouse settings drastically different in league? Or should I make a smurf and get used to it?

Graves is probably the most snowbally AD there is. He gets incredibly useless unless you win lane really hard. Mostly due to his short range and how much his burst damage falls off if you're not ahead.

Whenever I see other people play Aatrox they always do amazing. I'm not sure of any other way to counter it apart from reducing his attack speed.

Today I learned that if you revive teleport and try to get executed at the enemy spawn shortly after being killed, whoever killed you gets another kill.

The reworked Xerath is so freakin annoying.
Slow, stun and a ridiculous range. No AD carry is safe.

That being said, playing him is tons of fun.

Not sure how I feel about this hexakill game mode yet. First experience everyone who isn't a solo lane is deprived of farm unless you run double support or jungle.

Kinda wish league would make an Arena/Deathmatch game mode like Smite has. :(

i didn't quite decided to try hexa just yet,could someone give me some lights about it? is there any solo lanes in the end? this quite freaks me out because im a mid laner and i didnt wanted to end up getting 2vs1 lane just in case someone else decides to go jungle or something

Xerath rework is terribly out of metagame and is not superstrong in any way.

He's vulnerable to dives, his self peel is weak, he's only viable in poke comps.

His most damaging abilities give enough time to escape/minimise their impact for anything that can move fast or jump.

His passive doesn't scale into his lategame and is generally redundant with Athene's Grail exisiting.

Very few people will be able to play him spectacularly.

Poke comps obviously still exist and soloq people suck as much dick at playing them as always.


The only thing that became better after his rework is his balanceability or whatever you would call it.

His stance %magicpen was a pretty ridiculous feat. Make it too low and you get a champion with 1 ability that is useless and could be spread across the skillset, leave it as is and you get Xerath laughing it into the face of 250 magic resist tanks from some place 1400 range away.

The core objective in dominion is defending and holding captured points to win. That's why people don't play that crap.
An arena/deathmatch main objective would be to get kills.

They could even use the dominion map for this. Remove all the capture point garbage and clean up the middle of the map to make it more open.
