I think it's ok but you may frustrate new players
Despite that, very nice.

Umm.... just... Awesome ► Thanks ^.^

01:16:030 (7) - Argh, hard to read, but it's fine for hard i guess. ► I agree (: and it was done in purpose (part of mapping style)

02:38:614 (1) - This one is much easier to read though it is basically the same ► It's just overlapping the previous 02:36:831 (5) - so kept it as currently it is.

I am looking forward for it to be finished, the start looks very nice
As always: If you like the parts, keep them, it's just my opinion
Ah and: The timing is awesome

You are right, it fits well with the beat and vocal and with it being the only one starting on offbeat now it is very reasonable and perfectly fine.Alarido wrote:

Yea i see now it is visible and very nicely leading into the spin. (Didn't notice because i spin clockwise xD) Probably wasn't paying enough attention at the part, my fault.Alarido wrote:

Sorry if i confused you here, it was actually not meant to be a mod request but instead i wanted you to show, that you already did this one good and i wanted you to make the previous one to be the same, what you now did.Alarido wrote:

Sorry too if it was confusing, it's a drum technique where you don't hit the snaredrum with the stick, but lay your stick down on the snaredrum and just hit the edge (rim) of the snaredrum. It's known as "RimClick".
It's commonly used for quieter, softer parts, because it isn't so aggressive like a full snaredrum hit.
So, basically i just wanted to say to you: "There should be a clap/whistle" just like when i said "Snare".

Also on insane this pattern 01:39:353 (2,3,4,5,6) - is very unfair and will trip a lot of players up. You should change it or at least make the jumps smaller. ► Changed into an arc. A bit more Larto instead of star jumps

The preview point should be the exciting/powerful part of the song that makes people want to play it. That being said, I believe you should change the preview point to 00:34:214
BPM should be changed to 160. The BPM for most songs is a whole number and a multiple of 5.
[Normal]
00:35:312 (2,3,4) - Move the slider forward one tick in time and add a circle before it to match the beat and the vocalist singing "waterfall" ► The singer starts to voice "waterfall" right at 00:35:500, so the slider should begin where it currently is ('dancing' at the slider while singer 'wa' (begin of slider) - 'ter' (at slider repeat) - 'fall' (at slider end) ... ) . No change.
01:11:484 (2,3) - try arranging it like this to match the vocal: ► Did something with further notes too.
01:44:212 (2,3) - I think this part sounds better if you arrange it like this: ► Nooo... it feels like Easy, and there are important beats to cover here. No changes.
01:50:918 (3,4) - sounds better to move and shorten (4) slider to match the guitar: ► It's focusing the beats consistently with other parts of the diff. No changes.
02:03:033 (5,6) - ^same as before ► Same as latter statement.
[Insane]
00:32:732 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Maybe arrange it in a circle to make it look better like this: ► FEELS GOOD ♥
00:45:409 - The silence here is awkward, perhaps you can put a note here ► This 'silence' is important part of the feelings. But.... I added a jump here instead (by Gtrl-G'ing the (6,7) notes).
00:57:341 (9,10) - consider moving the slider forward one tick in time and placing (10) before the slider to match the guitar like this: ► No changes: this is a special match to this part.
If you really want to keep it the way it is, you can do it like this in some parts of the song and different in other parts. ► It's good take a moderate cup of consistency. However, sometimes, excessive amounts have worse side effects (like sugar, salt, exercises, work. We need a bit of carbohidrates to stay alive, but excessive dosages make us fat and may one source of diabetes).
01:09:394 (9,10) - ^same as before ► Added a note.
01:51:474 (9,10) - ^ ► No change

As I've said above, very good map! Good luck with ~
Hm.... the video might do this because the song file doesn't have the 'intro' that the video have (it would have it with some edit, but the .mp3 quality would suffer a bit (or a lot) when doing such edit). I'd set audio preview to the same amount of time of the video offset, but now set audio preview to 0 (zero) and, once tested, applied on every diff.-Bakari- wrote:
Yo, there's something weird in your video. Also, the OD on Easy and Normal should be reduced to make the timing changes and choppy rhythm a bit more playable.
Anyway, I'm here to shoot a couple of stars. Hope I'll be able to mod it when I finish with the maps from my queue! (if you don't mind, ofc).

Yo, not-so-random mod because you're awesome.
[General][Easy]
- Man, don't lie to us, that's clearly NOT a heavy metal song, sounds more like alternative metal. (Wiki) Also, you may want to add Toxicity to the tqgs, it's the name of the album. ► Done.
Note: don't forget to add SOAD to the tags, I think you know why ► Good- Blue and purple colors are pretty similar, bring some vary, use more of them! See the box below for some example!

Combo1 : 184,201,182
Combo2 : 189,176,164
Combo3 : 181,190,193
Combo4 : 75,74,85
Combo5 : 49,83,111
Combo6 : 203,179,173- Please, reduce the sound of this spinner. It'd really fit with the music + it sounds kinda weird as it is.
Note: oh, and maybe you should consider muting spinner-bonus.wav as well. I think it sounds a bit off and doesn't really fits with this song. ► Doing it.[Normal]
- Honestly, I feel like you have to reduce the OD here. You current OD is a bit too high because the song has some BPM changes and 3/2 beats which are rather hard for beginners. Reducing OD would make your map a bit friendlier towards beginners. ► So I'd applied now the OD scheme of 1-3-5-7 for E-N-H-I respectively.
- 00:35:687 (3,1) - I don't want to bother you with nazi stuff, but the flow feels kinda wrong here. It is catchable, but the transition gives an unpleasant feeling. I've tried to fix it for you, see if you like it! ► Tried something like because of further patterns. Modified some of them tho...
Note: 01:34:494 (1,2) - pretty much the same happens here. Though the diff is quite slow and it doesn't feel that bad, but if you have any better ideas, please go ahead and change it!- 01:38:984 (5) - and 02:28:626 (5) - please, consider adding a new combo here. You need it to emphasize the BPM vhanges and to follow music a bit better. It may look a bit confusing, but I'm sure that it's needed here to emphasize players about the BPM changes ► Good
- 02:44:371 (2,3) - i kinda didn't like your rhythm here, it feels a bit complicated. Why don't you make it a bit more simple and follow vocals here? my example ► Redesigned them.
Note: 02:53:146 (2,3) and 02:56:090 (2,3) - the rhythm feels kinda repetitive, do the sae here, I guess. Or keep it this way to bring some vary and make your map a bit more interesting- 02:53:146 (2,3) - nazi - try to make a bblanket here example or use some simple flow here. Either way you choose it will improve the transition between (3) and (1), imo. ► Redesigned both (2,3) pairs of the symmetry.
- 03:19:279 (2) - just amazing. Love everything about this slider, it's sound, it's shape and the flow it gives! Great idea! ♥ ► <3
You never disappoint me, great diff![Hard]
- Try to reduce OD, it may be a bit hard to deal with all these BPM changes, though they are minor, they're A LOT of them. Normal-players may be confused with such complicated timing. ► So I'd applied now the OD scheme of 1-3-5-7 for E-N-H-I respectively.
- 01:38:984 (5) - pretty much the same as on Easy diff, I'd emphasize such BPM changes with new combos, it fits with the music + it makes the BPM/offset changes a bit more understandable ► Done.
- 01:51:474 (4,1) - the transition feels kinda awkward here. It is catchable, but well, the flow isn't really good, imo. Maybe it's just me, that'd be great to get some more opinions on this part, tho ► Hm... kept it as it's jonathanlfj's influence (from some certain map I don't remember now ><)
- 03:48:683 (2,1) - you have no taiko/o!m specific iffs, so players will play standard diffs in their modes. This pattern becomes unacceptable and too hard in o!m and really unreadable in taiko. Please, try to avoid such stuff when it's possible, place spnners to existing beats! ► At least at easier diffs, sure (:
Everything is pretty nice. Good job with the diff![Insane]
- 00:40:921 (3) - I'd use NCs to mphasize such slowdowns. Those, who play hard diffs are probably not used to sudden slowdowns, so it may confuse them a bit. ► Well... too many slowings with too many NCs... if some BAT suggest it, I'll do, but it feels not too suitable to have such ?NC span? -- because I usually place NC for each 1 or 2 stanzas, except if the song itself feels requesting for more (e.g., real BPM changes -- marked by red lines)
- 01:15:651 (6,7) - this would flow much better if you change it's direction, I think. ► Redesigned this part a bit.
- 01:46:465 (1) - not a fan of such sliders, they may fit, but it's kinda unpleasant when the second reverse-arrow apears. If I were you, I'd replace such sliders with something like this ► This was made mostly for add variety (or too many 1/2 ones in same style) and, also, for lack of space. I would try stacked 1/2 sliders (like these ones here), but unfortunately, they're unrankable. But when the rules change about slider stacking, I'll feel more free to change it (:
Note: same applies for all similar sliders, ofc. Oh, and probably you should get more opinions about such things. It may be just me ><- 02:45:814 (1,2) - just a little overlap which looks a bit out of style, so I'd recommend you to fix it. It'll also improve your flow!
Well mapped, that's exactly what I love!Great mapset! Have some star(s)!
- I would reduce the OD here as well. So many BPM changes and OD8 may be TOO hard and probably won't be a pleasant experience. Anyway, get more opinions about this one. ► So I'd applied now the OD scheme of 1-3-5-7 for E-N-H-I respectively.
Perfecto! Personally, I'd add some more jumps to loud drum beats, but it's not a big deal. I loved the diff.

Best of luck!
Helped a lot (and helped bring some new ideas). Thanks Kibbleru ~.~Kibbleru wrote:
M4M from ur queue
[Insane]
00:32:732 (5) - NC? ► Good idea!
00:45:409 - needs something here ► Added this and redesigned some parts.
00:51:493 (7) - this seems better
►►► Changed. (there was an anti-blanket here...)
00:57:529 - why put such a strong sound in the middle of a slider? ► Due a couple of things: (a) it's not so strong compared to their neighbors, and (b) it wasn't part of the original project (note that 00:57:341 (9,10,11,1) draws a stylized "S" on screen.
01:09:582 - ^ ► Hm... Here, changed to a note + 1/2 slider (improve symmetry on Y-axis and enhance the beat with a clap)
00:56:775 (6) - NC? ► Done.
02:03:033 (6) - ^ ► Done.
02:38:614 (6) - ^ ► Done (here and in a few non-mentioned parts for consistency)
01:03:947 (10) - maybe split this combo a bit ► It's near of the 2nd measure (really doing NCs every two measures, except for some different parts as you pointed above), and it don't feel suitable to have NC right before another NC -- at least not in this song (really, some songs request them, specially in calmer moments/sparse mapped sections).
01:34:494 (1,2) - (nazi) fix blanket a bit ► Done.
01:35:623 (3,4) - ^ ► Done.
02:37:722 (3) - the jump can catch people off guard, most would think this would be ctrl + g'd ► Hm... it's true... especially for who plays with HD/FL first time (due to absence of approach circle). And.... Well, let's gather some further opinions, leaving this unchanged. (perhaps this part would be changed at all, depending on where the latter and further notes are).
02:57:563 (1,2) - meh this overlap ► This is intentional and well-done as most perfectly I would make, but... you'd pointed it and gave me a chance for... testing a Ctrl-G 02:58:115 (2,3) and... Good idea! It's amazing! The Ctrl-G on 02:58:115 (2,3) makes such "meh" overlap disappear magically and (hallelujah?) it also gives an amazing flow (Y). \:D/
02:59:219 (4) - finish at head like the previous ones? ► Done (and also added finish at 02:47:455 (4) for consistency on the last chorus)
03:16:688 (4) - consider ctrl g ► Good
03:19:649 (4) - ^ ► ^
03:43:184 (4) - ^ ► ok
03:34:534 (4,5) - they touch, space out a bit ► ok.
03:35:826 (1,2) - ^ ► ok
03:38:040 (7,8) - ^ ► ok
[Hard]
00:36:062 - add circle or something ► ok
00:57:529 - ^ ► ok
00:48:255 (5,7) - confusing/hard to read imo ► Shortened (5) to 1/2, removed the notes (6,7) and added a 1/2-repeating slider -- easier to read and hit ~.~ (In truth, the original pattern wasn't too rare in osu...)
02:10:986 (2) - ctrl g? ► YES!!!
02:12:489 (5) - ^ ► YES!!!
02:15:682 (4) - i think it would be better if you shortened this to a 1/2 slider and added a circle at where it used to start ► sure; done.
02:57:563 (1,2) - blanket? ► yes
03:41:351 (5,2) - stack? ► no. Instead, adjusted some notes to prevent touching.
[Normal]
01:03:947 (4) - clap sounds kinda weird ► Fixed.
01:04:312 (1) - reverse 1 more time? DS it properly afterwards ofc ► yes
01:05:817 (3) - ^ ► yes
02:35:404 (2) - finish at end? ► yes
02:46:908 (2) - ^ ► yes
[Easy]
01:43:460 (1,3) - careful not to overlap ► ok. Moved some notes a bit.
03:10:431 (2,1) - blanket? ► no blanket intended here.
Hope this helps
