It does help significantly. Though lately I noticed that turning on mobile data drains the battery quicker than the screen does and causes the phone to get hot too. Also be very wary about the reviews. Take Nexus 4 for example. The Verge rated Nexus 4 battery life 9 out of 10. It's just ridiculous. It has the battery life of a chinkphone I had a year ago, how could it be 9/10? Even my old Xperia Go can last me way longer than Nexus 4 can. I'm starting to see that there are lots of Android-biased reviewers on the internet nowadays.

They do pretty good reviews, it's just that the main guy (Anand Lal Shimpi) is a hopeless apple fanboy.

I only looked at anandtech for PC parts reviews on several occasions so yeah.
Guess I'll never look there when it comes to smartphone reviews.

Yeah, MKBHD is the go-to guy when it comes to phones, though he has his on own quirks and opinions (such as having big hands and possibly being a bit more Android biased)
