and since i'm not really capable of modding those insane diffs (can't even play them) i will mod normal

  • seems fine, though, i agree if you make a hard or make one of those insane diffs easier

- Consider adding "kagome" and "cool&create" to tags since it's the original theme and arranger
- DJ Octavia made the slider diff? If so, add his name to tags also if you're keeping this diff

- Difficulty spread seems sketchy. 4 insanes are just too much, so consider deleting 1 or 2. At least, there should be a Hard diff to balance the set out.

- Adding the video for this song would be cool :D If you like, I guess you could take it from the ranked version if the mapper doesn't mind of course

Check out AImod for some little spacing things to watch out for. Among them, I noticed there were a few spacing inconsistencies. I'd try to stick with one distance snap setting. As an example, 00:06:382 (3,4) - use 1.0x while you switch to 0.8x at 00:07:645 (1,2) - (not shown in aimod btw). Not unrankable but might be confusing for beginners if you frequently change this

00:10:171 (1,2) - the reverses emphasize a subtle part in the bgm which sounds a bit awkward, try this rhythm: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/867346
00:49:250 (2,3) - something happened here lol, fix and don't forget distance snap

Random Taiko Mod ahoy.

[General Taiko Stuff (Oni / Muzukashii)]

  1. Raise sound volume in both diffs to at least 90%. Not only are the volumes currently inconsistent between the Oni and Muzukashii, in the Oni it's pretty hard to hear the drums clearly with default sound settings during the more active parts of the song.
[Muzukashii]
00:03:698 (1,2,3) - Perhaps try changing this to just k k k and adding a don at 00:04:171. Its still simple enough for a Muzukashii and matches with the synth.

00:06:382 (13) - This downbeat makes a lot more sense as a don.

00:10:171 (27) - Same as above.

00:21:066 (84,85,86,87,88,89) - Perhaps you should stick with one of the patterns you used for the last couple 6 note patterns. kdkddk seems preferable to me but you could use kdkdkk as well.

01:02:592 (40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47) - The kkk at 44, 45, 46 doesn't really fit that well here imo. Perhaps try changing this pattern from this to something like shown here.

01:04:645 (52) - I feel like this should be at 01:04:803 instead.

01:05:592 (57) - Same problem as above, it just seems out of place with the music. Try 01:05:434 instead with the above mod and see if you like it.

02:16:092 (64) - I'd suggest removing this to get the same rhythm as 02:14:277 (52,53,54,55,56,57).

02:42:224 (32,33,34,35,36,37) - You could spice this up a little by making 33 and 37 both dons. Give it a shot and see if it fits to you.

02:48:698 (70) - Don't really have a real reason for this one but I'd say try making this a don. It sounds better to me at least.

00:22:803 (134) - This is a downbeat that really fits better as a don. Highly recommend changing it to one :P

00:23:434 (139,140,141) - 139 is another downbeat that probably fits better as a don. If you do apply this I'd suggest making 140 and 141 both kats as well.

00:40:487 (40,41,42,43,44) - 40's another downbeat that fits better as a don. Try a 5 note pattern that starts with a don, such as ddddk here over kkkkk.

01:16:724 (9) - I'm more partial to a don here for a ddkdddk pattern, but what you have works as well. Just give it a shot and see if you like it.

01:28:961 (116) - Again, just try a don here and see if you like it. Just giving some alternative pattern suggestions as there's no rhythm issues.

02:06:382 (166) - Another downbeat that fits better as a don.

02:06:698 - Try adding a don here, especially if you applied the mod to 166.

02:56:040 (161) - Perhaps remove the note here so that the chart comes to a close a bit more fluently.

Overall I liked the Muzukashii quite a bit, but as the Oni is currently I feel its perhaps a bit... too random? When I was modding it, it honestly felt like I was mapping a collaboration map. That isn't a bad thing per say, but if that's not what you intended, perhaps you should look at structuring your patterns a little bit more. In the end, they're both well mapped other than some small things here and there.

I have the possibly weird tendency to map while having some short bits repeating but changing the gameplay of the rest while I map. Mostly this happens because I split the work on several days and I do stuff different every day. I changed some bits to make the patterns a bit less random.

A little conclusion what we have got here until now:


- 2 Taiko Diffs, which should be modded enough soon;
- 100% Remapp of Easy Diff;
- SV Changes in Normal Diff;
- Removed Tavi's Slider Madness;
- Mapped a Slider orientated Diff to be there instead of Tavi's Diff;
- Got many many mods on the Mapset;
- All General Stuff updated (Like Tags, BGs for Taiko etc.);
- A new Hard - Diff, finished mapping, Hitsounds outstanding, about tomorrw I guess;
- The Video included (Same as in the allready ranked Version of this Song); <- Of Course I asked Saten if I may use it!

Wenn sie keine Zeit haben sollen sie ihren verdammten Namen aus der Taiko modder liste nehmen und ihre User Page aktualisieren .-. I think the main problem on Muzu diff is irregular pattern which may make the player confuse to play . And notice the BPM of the song , 190 is a bit high for inexperienced players so that they can't play well on long 1/2 notes. Generally speaking,you should try make similar pattern on muzu diff .

Some part on this diff is a bit random ,and notes you put is too much so that it can't strengthen some accent. But in overall, this diff is fine to me ,notes still match the song :)

General

  1. The kiais at 00:27:224 -, 00:29:750 - and 00:32:277 - on Hyper IV looks totally unnecessary to me. You did that because of those sliders right? Because seriously, they don't fit in any way with the song; which I think is actually the main point to use a kiai in the first place.
  1. Still with the kiai stuff: There shouldn't be kiai at 02:45:540 - from 02:46:803 - (should start at 02:46:803 - again) in all diffs. It doesn't sound right. I'd also consider removing there to keep it consistent with the kiais used on the taiko, but that's up to you.

Easy

  1. 00:05:119 (1) - The end of its tail could've been made a little smoother. Nothing wrong with it in general, but visuals would certainly improve, considering the nice gap it would make between this and the next circle. By the way, if you consider applying this here, also do the same on 00:07:645 (3) - for consistency. For reference, doing something like 01:14:592 (4) - would be great here as well. Check it out:
  1. 00:45:540 (1) - Some flow issue here. I highly suggest you do a ctrl+j on it and then adjust it to the current spacing. It runs more natural for the cursor:
  1. 00:53:119 (1) - Try making it more wider. You could still follow 00:51:224 (2) - fading position to make the slider fit better on the grid. Consider doing the same on 00:54:382 (1) - .
  1. 01:14:592 (4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Well, you could have made at this section with a better variety of patterns. I mean, they all have the same length, and between some sliders the flow is not good. Though I understand the point that the song is really repetitive at this part, but you should've made some different sliders in terms of length (reverse arrow, longer sliders, etc), and even hitcircles would improve a little, just to create a better pattern.
  1. 02:35:750 (2) - Better make the slider curved a bit and turned to the right. Just to improve the flow as well. Take a look:

  1. 01:56:908 (2,3) - You could've give between them a better spacing, looks unnecessarily close for me. Not to mention the passage is kinda harsh to play. You might want to reshape 01:56:908 (2) - to do this in order to do this properly.
  1. 02:00:066 (2) - Considering this is the first slider with two arrows after 2 minutes of the song played, I feel you could have used a better pattern to emphasize the "-tei -tei -tei". Removing one arrow and adding a circle would be nice, as it would make things much easier to see. You can also try your own variations if you agree with me, as this whole section there are a couple more of those sliders:
  1. 02:46:803 - Why there's nothing here? Consider adding a circle, a strong part of the song like this one here shouldn't be left unmapped. I think you probably forgot about it D:
  1. 02:51:856 (1,2,3) - Better not use different spacing here; same pattern of circles aligned that way should have a consistent spacing (0,6x or 0,8x in this case).
  1. 02:54:382 (1) - Quite a long spinner this one hmm? It should end at 02:56:908 - like it does, so this is alright. But it shouldn't begin too early. My suggestion is to start at 02:55:645 - and complete the part before it mapping the section that was on the spinner's beat.

Hard

  1. 00:36:698 (5,1) - Hmm, I feel that little gap between them could still have used a circle (in 00:37:645 - to be precise). If you notice your patterns after that, you won't see a gap like that for a while.
  1. 01:29:119 (3) - This looks a little higher than it should. I don't normally poke stuff like this, put you should keep in mind that it's very close to the HP bar. You might want to lower this a bit on the grid.

  1. 02:07:645 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - *cries* Consider giving between all of them a bigger spacing, something around 1,4x. The whole diff has a proper clean grid between objects so far, so I'd really love if this kept following that too. Also, the slider at 02:08:750 (4) - sounds a bit unnecessary. I'd delete it to also give a proper time for the spinner, but well, it's an Insane after all. If you want to keep it for consistency it's up to you.

Abs0lutely Insane

  1. 01:18:382 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Have you got any other feedback at these sliders saying they are really repetitive? You should've at least changed their placement, this really bugged me out here. If you have any other ideas at this place, I'd say to do it.
  1. 02:56:908 (1) - Before playing the slider at 02:56:277 (3) - I could be sure that it would be the last object. That circle doesn't make much of sense to me, as there's clearly no beats there, just the vocals give that impression. Sice there's a lot of nodes on the slider at 02:56:277 (3) -, my suggestion is to make that slider the last note. So consider extending it until the place of where the circle is.

  1. 00:06:066 (4,1) - Stuff like this is much better when they have a nice flow... which isn't the case here (do a ctrl+g at 00:06:382 (1) - and see what I mean).

Hyper IV

  1. 00:07:487 - There's supposed to be an object here. I'm not implying that you should add stuff at every beat, but considering the difficulty of this one and two drum beats (I think) very strong and easy to hear, it'd make more sense if it has something here (a circle, an extended slider, etc). The same goes for 00:12:540 -. But yeah, that's really up to you.

    As you can see, I do these sliders a lot in my maps :3 They first occured to me when I got a Timing Recheck by OEvil who somehow maps with me sometimes, and I really like these sliders, so I will keep it (: personal touch :D

BIG CHANGE

Due to consultion with a friend of mine, I decided to remove Hyper IV from the mapset, it just would be too much, sorrry to all AR10 lovers, it will be available in the creator's words soon.
Also, I renamed Sl1der Way - Now it is called Slider Rave SD [SD= Standard] In future mapsets - after this is ranked - I will try to allways do a Slider Rave SD, because people seem to like it very much - I will not include it in this mapset , dont worry^^ :) Also, I am working on a style in direction of Slider Rave XT [XT= Extreme] What will be just a bit harder than Slider Rave SD, but not unrankable or unlegitimate :) !
