Thank you for responding. Here is a picture on one beatmap: http://puu.sh/3qxDL/1925473cab.png and here is another picture from another beatmap: http://puu.sh/3qxFk/e1656f9562.png
This happens to all of the beatmaps loaded on my computer.
edit: and while this is going, I can still hear the song, but I cannot see the beats coming down and I cannot press any keys to hit the beats.
You should be able to download it from the "Download" tab on the site, right there : http://www.hapshack.com/images/pivOA.pngPuddingMonster wrote:

Only seems to affect you. I tried it right now, there's no apparent problem with it. Try adjusting your settings (osu! or Monitor)Creyslz wrote:
I don't know if this is a problem for all computers or just mine, but the flashlight mod is not working as intended. Instead of creating the flashlight effect, it just dims the whole screen (i.e As if I just lowered my brightness setting by a few ticks). This makes playing with the flashlight mod almost trivial, artificially boosting scores.
I've experienced this before too but in the earlier versions. Sometimes when I would load FL mod, it would dim the screen without adding the small circle of light to see through. So basically, it's like not having FL on at all. The only function that would continue to work would be holding sliders (which with FL, causes the screen to dim even more).Creyslz wrote:

Are you on OSX 10.8 by chance ?Creyslz wrote:
I messed around with the flashlight mod some more. I ended up finding a map where it did create the flashlight effect, but it also dimmed the screen, making it surprisingly difficult to play as I easily lost track of the osu button things. However, on other maps, it still only dimmed the screen.
I took a screencap video of myself demonstrating both.
No Fail is turned on because the screen cap program will occasionally lower my frame rate to unplayable levels.

In what way does osu! show a gain in performance? Frame rate? Loading speed?Agrrox wrote:

disadvantage of this is that game may crash when u want to make updates or try to run osume (for example click get more skins)
not sure what it does but i think xQuartz is still supported thus better than X11 ? Also not sure what is mac driver and how it affects osu.

No, it flips between 45 and 60. But it was running at 110 before, I don't understand why my FPS went down so much.peppy wrote:

Actually, I'm working on a new build using Mac Driver and it's now working fine. Uncapped reaches around 300ish fps. Tablet works properly. Mouse too. I'll be sending it to Peppy later onShirayuki wrote:

That would be really awesome, because no matter what I did I could not get Mac Driver to work with tablet in windowed mode. This will be interesting!CloseKnight wrote:

For now there is a way-around for it on page 34, where you use the old engine from the previous version (Infinity Engine).janyhero wrote:
Do any of you guys experience significant click delay (key press) in the latest build?
Like 0.5s ish
Hmm that's kinda weird. I tested it with both my Bamboo Pen tablet and a Cintiq 13HD that I found lying around at my uni and they worked just fine. I'd test it on a CTL if I could get my hands on one but I don't know anyone with one, so I guess I'll go from a technical standpoint here. Do you have the latest drivers for the tablet installed? What settings are you using on the driver? I don't really know about the menu of the CTL but my Bamboo Pen has both a Pen and Mouse mode and I find the responsiveness of the pen mode is a lot better generally. What size screen are you playing on (might be a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway)?Shirayuki wrote:
I wanted to show my respect and to thank CloseKnight and Peppy for making this to work! With Mac Driver and the latest engine being used, osu! is getting the best performance possible.
One small thing remain though, I still seem to have trouble when playing with tablet and windowed mode. In my case, I am playing on 1024x600, and using a Wacom Bamboo CTL-470 with a fracture of the tablet to show the screen. I still am getting the "cursor jumping all over" issue, can this somehow be fixed?
Here is a small replay. It looks cleaner with my skin.

If you are referring to this window and the test run button then it didn't help me at allmockingod wrote:
I have the same bug sometimes Delosias. I find that you need to open up package contents and find "Wineskin.app" inside it, and then open it. I'm not on my Mac right now so I don't know all the details of what you need to press, but if you press a button on the bottom right somewhere, I believe, then you should have a debug window open up. It should say Osu.exe or something somewhere. If you click on run, you can exit wineskin.app and Osu will not longer just bounce once in the dock then close. It will do as it has always done.
It's only done it to me 2 times in the past 2 months I've used osu on my mac.
This didn't work there was one folder titled osu![and some numbers]CloseKnight wrote:
Ok well I have about 3 possible solutions so let's start with number 1.
You'll need to navigate to /Users/[Your Name Here]/Library/Saved Application State
Once there delete every folder titled osu!. Make sure you don't just move them to bin but delete them fully. Then try running osu!. Tell me if that works.
Yes please do post them! That would help a lot.Delosias wrote:

For the game itself yes it is. But not for the wrapper that it runs on. You'll need to download 20130922 because that makes use of a new engine. If changing to that doesn't solve the problem I'll push out a new build and see if that works.alvarogomides wrote:
