An extension until the end of the weekend wouldn't be *too* unfair - that's what, just an extra day or two? - but yeah, anything more than that would be kind of crazy.Kyshiro wrote:

I don't see a problem with notifying the mappers that already submitted their sets when there's a time extension and providing them with a possibility to update their maps.

And by the way it's already pretty difficult to make a full high quality mapset within a month even if you don't have other important stuff to do, let alone 'contest' quality

@Kert: Personally, I would've loved it if ztrot hadn't undone the extension. Just saying if he had never done that then this extension discussion likely would never have taken off.

I think an 'Elite Mapper' would be able to finish a map in time IMO.

My current motivation currently is like I won't finish my map today anymore, but if it gets extended I'd continue on it tomorrow.

You probably shouldn't have taken part in the competition and focused on your studies.
Well, I'm wondering how many people took place, just to get some idea how many people want a time extension and how many people took place.. (to get a ratio or something)

Wait, now I'm a bit confused. Wasn't the deadline at 24:00, so, one full day later. Then, is the contest already closed? Because I only need to finish one difficulty (I took one week for one difficulty and the last about two days for another one, now I'm better at mapping) and had planned to do that difficulty now in the last day. I... actually don't study that much and still gave 5 subjects with an average of 26.8/30.
Still, dedicating about 30 minutes-1 hours for a week or two can make you end the map. (it took... about two week, but some days I didn't map and some other I did map )

There are three songs to choose from. You can submit entries for more than one song, but you can only win one prize.So technically, you can participate in all the categories but you can't win them all? If a mapper wins one of the categories and he's also the best in another, then he won't win nonetheless his map being the best one? Silly, silly, silly.
