Final Fantasy is one of my favorite game series, and especially the games FF IX and FFXIII , so I decided to map one of the battle themes, but both were ranked already. So I mapped a remix of the battle song from FF IX ^^

Mod from my queue:

Feeling when i played the map:
*Easy/Normal: Very good. They are pleasant to play and the placement is pretty good. And i like your hitsounds even they are a little bit too much in some place.
*Hard: Mixed. The low AR combined with some anti-jump make isn't good to play. There are a lot of moment in your diff when the notes are really close to each other and it's making it hard to read with the low AR. And i can guess than you completly ran out of idea of pattern at the end of your diff. XD
I think this diff have some potential but still need some work on.

  1. 00:04:216 (4) - If you want a prefect square move it to x=208 y=312.
  2. 00:28:966 (1) - The note is partially hidden by the slider and it's not very pretty. Move it to x=312 y=232?
  3. 00:34:966 (1) - Finish?
  4. 01:01:966 (5,1) - Bad distance snapping between them.
  5. 01:05:716 (2,3) - A lot of modder would said to you that the stacked note are a little bit hard for beginner player but since you use them a lot in your diff.... Well, do as you want.
  6. 01:15:841 (3) - It's out of the screen. Move it away.
  7. 01:16:966 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - Seems a little bit randomly placed. Try making some pattern. For the five first note you can do someting like this:
    for example. (Like you did at 01:55:966 (1,2,3,4,1))
  8. 01:23:716 (2) - Move it's last slider point to x=28 y=112 for the blanket.
  9. 01:27:466 (2) - CTRL+G?

  1. 00:01:966 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - They nearly are on the same circle. Try to do this better.
  2. 00:21:466 (5) - Move it one grid left for a perfect square.
  3. 00:34:966 (1) - I think you can map this part instead of putting a spinner. But you can let the other one.
  4. 01:22:966 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Too many finish. You don't have those in the other diff.
  5. 01:25:966 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Same as 00:01:966. And out a NC on the 5 or remove the one at 00:01:966 for consistency.

  1. AR+1 or even +2. Clearly!
  2. 00:13:966 (1,2,3,4,5) - Example of crowded note like i said. Use a DS of at least x1 in all the diff. Otherwise you have all these useless overlapping. Your SV is already small enough like this for a Hard.

  6. 01:06:091 (4,5,6) - Too many claps.
  7. 01:14:528 (2,4) - they overlap.
  8. 01:29:716 (3,4,5,6) - Too crowded.
  9. 01:46:591 (4,1) - Small overlap.
  10. 01:49:966 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - Too crowded.
  11. 01:54:091 (4,5,6,7) - Swap the position of 4 and 5 the make 6 and 7 further form the center than they are. You'll have a progressive jump. Each note is further away than the previous one.
  12. 01:57:278 (1,2) - Doesn't play very well.
  13. 02:00:278 (1,2) - ^
  14. 02:01:966 - well, i can see that you ran out of idea here (and maybe a little before). The big slider are useless. Keep them foor the end like you did in the normal diff. The notes get too repetitve and the whole is a little bit too loud.
  15. I really think you should rework on this diff. Either take a higher DS or a higher SV. The higher SV would be better imo but it's far more work than taking a higher DS. But don't delete your diff, there are still a lot of good idea in it. ^^

Me too. But i know a lot of modder say that so, since i'm the first mod, i thought that i should tell you this.

I used 1,0x, you don't like overlapping, but this doesn't mean that everybody don't like it <_<

Well, it's true that i prefer map without too much overlapping but i would say that, thinking now about it, everything i said was based with your map with the low AR so maybe in increasing it, it doesn't feel that crowded anymore. Besides, all i said was just suggestion. It's your own beatmap so do as you want ^^.

Well, maybe i wrote too fast. It's just that you have the same position for 3 and 4 than for 5 and 1 but the time gap between 3 and 4 is diffrent from the one between 5 and 1. It's pretty confusing but maybe now with the higher AR it's not anymore. In fact i've recently seen a map ranked with the same thing (but with AR8 XD).

I didn't tell you to make insane but increasing the DS or the SV to avoid the overlapping XD so if you like them don't change anything. Don't worry your map is a Hard and in fact increasing the DS or the SV by 0.1 wouldn't have changed it.

Well, the Star system sucks. So it's not a very good indication for this.

00:06:466 (2) - I think a longer reverse slider would fit better - http://puu.sh/3BS0H.jpg - because of the melody, it actually feels weird while playing, so the place between these sliders 00:06:466 (2,1) - feel empty, but if you made that reverse slider longer, it wouldn't be empty, but it would still fit the music, and as I can see, you did it similarly here - 00:24:466 (3)
00:09:466 (2) - ^
00:12:466 (2) - ^
01:12:466 (2,3) - remove (2) and put (3) earlier, and make it longer, like this - http://puu.sh/3BSdi.jpg - it fits the melody very well

Actually this is a very nice difficulty, good job.

00:05:716 (2) - this should be a simple slider and not a reverse slider, it would fit better to the melody, but like that this 00:06:278 - feels too empty, so maybe you could try mapping this differently, for example: http://puu.sh/3BSxG.jpg or maybe just add a hit circle?
