Ragnarok? As in Ragnarok Online? Because I found the community to be terrible there too. Lots of spammers, immature people inside the dungeons.
Spiral Knights I actually did like the community there so I'll give you that one.
Now that I actually think about it, Gunbound actually had a really nice community - played that game for several years before it stopped working properly on my computer.

I guess it just varies game to game, but Maplestory (back when I played anyway), Ragnarok Online, WoW and League are definitely not considered 'good' communities in my books.

Some gaming community are decent. Just depends on where you go in the 'mapping' area (or in League case; Depends on the players)
I met pretty decent people there and they're ether great to speak/hang with or they can be hell annoying. RO, I have to agree with you, Kanna. They were terrible...met one person to ruin the whole game for me and decided to be a dick and hack my friend there. Quit playing after that.

MapleStory was decent but the rest of the community (Back when I use to play) Spam for gold> Spam items for expensive gold> I wanna be an ass and call you all noobs cause I can= Worst days ever. Yeah...its till the same since then.

Played RO for 8 years and never experienced people so bad they made me want to quit the game. I guess I was able to tolerate more than i really should have.

League = PvP which = competition. So the number of egotistical, epeen 12 year olds you'll encounter is significantly higher when you compare it to a lot of other games.

I don't understand Riot's logic with implementing that item. Madreds Bloodrazor was removed because it was a "noob trap", and they added hurricane the patch MBR was removed lol. It's bad on every AD carry except maybe Kog (even still it's a mediocre item on him).

At least MBR had it's niche uses like when 3 warmog + atmas top laners were a thing.

There were a lot of flamers and spammers and beggers, etc. Pretty terrible if you ask me. I dunno why people liked the game.

That's impressive. You might be more tolerable. Back then, I was a lot more tolerable than I am now (mostly because I'm sick of the morons I see around WoW). You might be very tolerable in general, but that's a good thing lol.

By the definition, Gunbound should have a lot of hate too but I think the community for that game was great. PvP too.

I ran into a fairly large amount of trolls and douchebags on both gunbound and gun bunnies consider yourself lucky.

Anyways at the end of the day every game is going to have it's fair share of trolls, dicks, etc.. Some games more or less so than others. You really shouldn't let 1-2 people ruin a game for you.

Well no, you shouldn't, but at the same time, the game itself shouldn't be allowing crap like hacking accounts go on to begin with.

You need to really define "hacking" because as a computer science major I really have a hard time believing a single person finds another single persons account info out of millions of players. If your getting scammed into giving your info out that's a different story and often times it's the victims fault for being dumb enough to fall for it. Not trying to be mean, but a lot of the hacking/scam reports I've seen and dealt with over the years are nearly 100% based off of someone being retarded. lol

Dealing with these kind of situations can be hard. I've had a friend lose his league account and by the time he got it back the scammer used up all his RP and deleted all his runes with the rune combiner. He got some of it back via support (RP), but not everything (runes). Then his account got hijacked again because riot thinks it's okay to not verify password changes. Even LoL has it's share of hacking and scamming. =\

What, verifying password changes is pretty normal these days. That's stupid! lol.

Yeah. You can change your password without providing an email address. You just need to know the account info. This is a very severe security issue they need to fix. :(!!!!

Also be careful when opening links in the client. Not sure if people here actually join community rooms in the client like i do. xD
Don't get your account keylogged.

I usually hate pubstomps, but this game had way too much hilarious and wtf going on.



Top lane trynd rushed hydra and still couldn't out push a warwick some how? Then Sejuani blindly ulted into a bush and got a triple kill. lol

Got promoted from silver 4 to silver 2 lol. Still getting about 30 points per win. I really don't see how MMR thinks i belong higher since I was roughly 1300-1400 in season 2.

Got a Riven that wanted to ADC... then our ADC DCed and our top laner left. That was at the 15:00 mark. The other team didn't win until roughly 35:00. Whoops?

Still waiting for solid confirmation of when the Aus/Oceanic server will be up and whether account transfer will require those silly "Riot Points". I'd rather not have to play up to lvl 30 again. Also I hope Riot have done something right for once by updating the installer so I don't have to wait through 2 decades of updates after I install the game.

I miss playing Fizz.

I made it to 7k gold before I died. I had to suicide or else we would have lost XD Even though I played half the game with tear + boots I still did most damage XD

Any tips to fighting LeeSin and Lissandra, particularly in Twisted Treeline?

Having major issues fighting either of them in most of the games I've had against them.

Simply transfers it over to the new server, nothing is saved on the previous one. I don't recall if wins are transferred as well but honor is wiped clean.

I'd expect your elo progress to be gone too. You will also be prompted to pick a new summoner name, regardless of if your current is available or not.

Yeah, for sure.
I've gone on a few winning streaks before so I guess this is payback, lol.

Twisted Treeline I'm three or four below 0.500 and part of the last several is I keep playing champions that none of me or my two teammates know about (premade team) such as Lee Sin and Lissindra. Usually our best team make-up is Thresh, Mordekeiser and me as either Darius or Renekton, so we're pretty limited in terms of CCs - in particular, no immobilizes or silences - or stuns if I'm not Renekton.
Summoner's Rift I'm eight or nine below 0.500 but I usually get top lane and I have a solid knowledge-base about most top laners so I'm not as worried about that.

I'm not sure why the opposing team went full AP, but I'll take it. They were destroying bottom lane and beating me top lane for most of early-game.
Damage output to champions was pretty well rounded between Malphite, Ryze, Kog and I.

Two questions.
1: How do you counter Lee Sin and Lissandra? Been having a hell of a time with them lately, and more so on Twisted Treeline (when you have two less champions and less CC / utility to go around).
2: Am I the only one who finds the unwritten rule that whoever calls first, should get the role? I don't have it happen 'much', but I always see others go "I called first, I'm getting it" or something stupid like that. Plus, I find sometimes the order that people call out is different on each screen.

Just curious.

As far as I know, you can counter Lee Sin with Udyr, Renekton, Pantheon and Elise, some people say that with Trundle too, but I didn't try it.

About Lissandra that champ is broken but I guess mid AP with mobility can counter her, and with AD ones, dunno.

And yes, that unwritten rule exists though on normal games trolls tend to rage and pick whatever they want sometimes xD
