World of Warcraft is filled with it still.

Not true. Games like Ragnarok 1 and 2, Eden Eternal, and Spiral Knights have decent communities, and I've made some really good friends from all those games.Justykanna wrote:

Someone's gonna have to explain the brutal community in WoW to me then. =PVulf wrote:

How about Varus?Vulf wrote:
It's bad on every AD carry except maybe Kog (even still it's a mediocre item on him).
I've never heard of hackers in the games, but that's pretty awful, I'd quit after that too.Aoriki wrote:
RO, I have to agree with you, Kanna. They were terrible...met one person to ruin the whole game for me and decided to be a dick and hack my friend there. Quit playing after that.
There were a lot of flamers and spammers and beggers, etc. Pretty terrible if you ask me. I dunno why people liked the game.Aoriki wrote:

That's impressive. You might be more tolerable. Back then, I was a lot more tolerable than I am now (mostly because I'm sick of the morons I see around WoW). You might be very tolerable in general, but that's a good thing lol.Vulf wrote:
Played RO for 8 years and never experienced people so bad they made me want to quit the game. I guess I was able to tolerate more than i really should have.
By the definition, Gunbound should have a lot of hate too but I think the community for that game was great. PvP too.Vulf wrote:
League = PvP which = competition. So the number of egotistical, epeen 12 year olds you'll encounter is significantly higher when you compare it to a lot of other games.
I ran into a fairly large amount of trolls and douchebags on both gunbound and gun bunnies consider yourself lucky.Justykanna wrote:

I found a large amount of people that act like they're younger, but not in the way that makes them seem like people that wanna piss others off.Vulf wrote:

Anyways at the end of the day every game is going to have it's fair share of trolls, dicks, etc.. Some games more or less so than others. You really shouldn't let 1-2 people ruin a game for you.
Nice. My brother's trying to get in some solid games with Ryze and having, so far, mixed results.JAKACHAN wrote:
Still pumpin out those Ryze games.
Point taken, my mistake.Vulf wrote:
You need to really define "hacking" because as a computer science major I really have a hard time believing a single person finds another single persons account info out of millions of players. If your getting scammed into giving your info out that's a different story and often times it's the victims fault for being dumb enough to fall for it. Not trying to be mean, but a lot of the hacking/scam reports I've seen and dealt with over the years are nearly 100% based off of someone being retarded. lol
That's rough. =/Vulf wrote:
Dealing with these kind of situations can be hard. I've had a friend lose his league account and by the time he got it back the scammer used up all his RP and deleted all his runes with the rune combiner. He got some of it back via support (RP), but not everything (runes). Then his account got hijacked again because riot thinks it's okay to not verify password changes. Even LoL has it's share of hacking and scamming. =\
I almost feel like password verification is the norm these days. =/Vulf wrote:
Yeah. You can change your password without providing an email address. You just need to know the account info. This is a very severe security issue they need to fix.
I didn't even know you could open links in the client aside the ones that are up on the League news and whatnot.Vulf wrote:
Also be careful when opening links in the client. Not sure if people here actually join community rooms in the client like i do. xD
Don't get your account keylogged.

I have more defeats than wins because I was really bad at the game when I started but after some months I improved a lot :pReverseLight wrote:

Usually when i get close to about 100 wins over loses I go on severe losing streaks. It never fails and has been this way for me for over a year now. Even premades don't get me out of it lol. Match making system is definitely doing it's job.Justykanna wrote:

What are with these stretches of losses lately.
Grats and good luck. Out of the 10 or so games I played in silver 4 none of them were enjoyable.Stefan wrote:
