overmapping is a bad habit and one which i shall from now on be trying to cut down in osu!, i will be keeping a very close eye on this map to make sure it improves and becomes rankable while being much less overmapped, also your attitude to replieing to mods in this whole topic is extremely bad, learn to be polite and accept that people have spent there free time to give you a mod. please improve in these factors, bad attitude mappers need to improve same as bad attitude modders do. ok best of luck i will be back once you have fixed everything within my post and the edis to the quote

Hello, I'm glad I can continue this. First of all I want to say that English is not my native so sometimes my short posts may look somehow offensive when they not supposed to be, I'm sorry if it was the case.
To BounceBabe - what I was trying to say that red color you use look's really aggressive imo, and it was not clear what it means unrankable or strongly suggested or anything else. I guess I must wrote something like - please think about don't use red, or to add legend. Next thing that I don't get some things from mods like - you changed spacing on insane and I asked so why I shouldn't do there because spacing changes is not so dramatically that was not even a jump or compressed...
I think I need to spend more time on answering mods in proper way. Thanks for clearing this thing out for me.

What I get from ranking criteria is that -
Gameplay elements must be visible. You cannot make any element that will impair the playability of the map invisible as it will make the map unintuitive or even impossible to play.
hitcircleoverlay.png - not impair the playability of the map in anyway, because overlay is joined to hitcircle.png to make effect that unable to reproduce in pair hitcircle + hitcircleoverlay what actually make hitcircleoverlay not needed.
spinner-osu.png - imo not impair the playability of the map, it has spin and clear and I believe this osu string is just not necessary
sliderpoint10.png and sliderpoint30.png - I can agree on this but if this really needed to improve the playability bacuse I see so many skins and maps that hasn't sliderpoints score and imo they just distract player from map.
If I get wrong understanding of ranking criteria on skins please explain me this things.

It may seems to look that way on just quick view in editor, but this streams is music wise for insane. Why this? The main difference from so popular (and imo bad) random triplets or random overmap (which created definitely just to complete rhythm) is that lyrics that "speeds-up" this spots. You can here

00:20:300 (5) - start of "most"
00:20:565 (7) - is end of s in "most" and actually one note you can call overmap but it competes the overall rhythm of this "speed-up"
More over this little stream have nice hotsounding created to complete and vary the whole rhythm.
I hope my thoughts is clear on this because I'll repeat that English is not my native and this is somehow hard to me explain complicated things.

I agree on this strongly and after some discussion with other people as result I decided to refuse from this streams so no point in insane because of this. But hard was adjusted a little. As for my attitude I wrote before and I really promise to get more attention to this because I don't want to make a bad image of myself.

Sorry but I'm having trouble adjusting the timing here since the notes keep snapping wrong and I have to keep starting over and over, which isn't getting me anywhere...

For what I managed to see most of the offsets are fine but some of the them might be off like on the beginning are 6ms early and some on the kiai might be ~20ms early, I suggest you ask an expert timer for this.

Thanks Ilthelm, checked but current timing seems fine for me. Also I guess I should stop this thing about timing now, pro anyways not going to check this and current one timing seems perfectly playable.

updated2: custom spinner removed, default spinner from new osu! default skin(which in test build now) is really good.

  1. According to AIMod, there are some kiai times unsnapped. Ugh, I checked them and they look alright.. perhaps AIMod is sayin senseless stuff? check it by yourself if you can. I tried checking it with AIBat and nothing. The issue seems to appear only on AIMod. Weird..
  2. Personally dislike the background. There are plenty of awesome artworks around that give a more sad and lonely atmosphere. You can get these at Pixiv. I really recommend you these. o3o
[Hard]
  1. 00:29:491 (4,5,6) - This pattern doesn't really play good imo. I think it would play better if you move 00:29:491 (4) a bit up, and make the curve a bit better. Also, CTRL+J 00:30:294 (6). That would play much better imo. Here's a screenshot so you can see what i'm reffering to and how to do it if you like. It would give the map more blanket structure and better flow for (6)
  2. 00:35:082 (5) - This slider doesn't really fit with the vocals. It's just a long boring curve. The vocals give a "wavy" slider feeling imo, so a wavy slider would fit more with the music. I was trying to make a curved slider like yours but with waves and i failed so hard. This is what i've got instead of what i really wanted, still good, but not what i wanted. At least you get my idea with this.. so try to consider changing the shape of this slider into something more fitting with the voice. Remember, this screenshot is just an idea :p
  3. 00:39:857 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - These notes look kinda messy like that. I think a curved simple form with them is more than enough. Feels good to play, and looks less messy imo. I know it's very basic and not visually outstanding, but flow is important too! well my suggestion is to move notes like this, just like you did at 00:46:239 (3,4,5,6,7,8).
  4. 00:51:823 (2,3) - The flow of these two sliders is bad. I think here it's better to keep the Distance Snap, and remove the jump by using ctrl+g on 00:51:823 (2).
  5. 00:57:408 (1) - ^ I know you're trying to make jumps to make the diff a bit more challenging since you don't have an [insane], but at some parts it's better to keep the DS for the sake of good flow. Better have simple patterns with DS than uncomfortable jumps imo~
  6. 01:08:044 (3) - ^
  7. 01:24:494 (3) - ^
  8. 01:30:787 (2) - ^
  9. 01:34:432 (4) - Nazi :p move some grids down to make a better curve with those circles

    *Consider adding some whistles at the guitar calm parts such as at 00:13:551 (3) start. That would sound good with the guitar. Leaving the slider without hitsounds sounds empty.. also at 00:15:143 (6) start, 00:16:739 (4), etc. Feels weird to ignore that relaxing guitar melody, so consider adding some whistles to follow it!

    Overall, good difficulty. The flow fails at some parts.. you don't need to force jumps in such a slow song. It's better to ctrl+g these notes listed there ^ imo. That would improve the flow.

    Yep, 4 and 5 moved up little bit but don't think ctrl+j on 6 is a good idea mainly because I think this little flow break fits vocal well.

    Nice try :p, but seriously yep vocal is wavy and slider is long and boring but this is better way imo than this like wubwub sliders, and unfortunately there is not so much room left.

Sorry for the Huge delay, Sieg. Here is my mod anyways (1st mod as a BAT)

[General:]

Timing: According to the AiMod, there are inconsistent in the Uninherited Timing Points (Red Lines) between Easy - Normal and Hard. You should check out this properly and make them consistency.
Combo Colours: I like to see at least 3 combo colours in all the mapsets, with just 2 everything looks pretty repetitive. Looking the BG, I think a Grey colour is fitting here

[Helldawn's Easy:]

• 01:10:172 (1,2) - The rhythm here is not the best in my opinion, the note and the Slider is not following properly the music in my personal point of view. For a better Rhythm, I'd change the placement of the Notes in the Timeline. I mean, first you should add the Slider, this Slider have to start in 01:10:172 and finish in 01:10:704. Then the Note should be placed in 01:10:969, as I show you in the following screenshoot:
• 01:20:542 (1,2) - Here you made the same mistake as above, in this case plays much better if you add the slider at the first time and after this Slider you should add the Note. Follow the previous screenshoot pls.
• 01:21:870 (4,5) - This is not following the vocal properly, if you check properly the 'long' vocal starts where you placed (4). So, would be better if you delete (4), and after that move the Slider (5) to 01:21:870 (Where it was placed (1)), then this Slider have to finish in 01:22:933. To ilustrate you better, take an screenshoot:

• 01:33:926 (1) - This Slider with a lot of repetitions it becomes boring at the time to play the map. It makes the pattern more enjoyable if you try to do something like this:
• 01:46:927 (3) - I find the Soft Whistle in this Note useless, I think that it is not following anything in the song. Hmm.. Could you remove it pls?
• 02:05:335 (2) - In this Slider, Claps at the start and the end of this Slider sounds really fine to me, I think that it is a good idea if you add them. The music it is exactly the same as 02:11:543 (3,4), and you added claps in this notes, would be consistent too :P
• 02:18:284 (5) - And for consistency here as well, add a Clap at the Slider start.

- Some hitsounds inconsistency and rhythm could be better in some sections, but I mentioned all of them in my mod xD. If you fix my mod, you will fix these mistakes :P. I liked this diff.

[Hard:]

• 00:19:114 (3) - It is the hardest diff. in the mapset, so I think that you can risking a bit more with the Rhythm. Reduce the Slider lenght till 00:19:377, then add a Note in 00:19:640, plus: would be good if you mix this new note with the Note in 00:19:903, replacing the notes in a Slider instead.
• 00:21:511 (1) - I'd add a Whistle at the Slider beginning, this pattern sounds kinda empty actually
• 00:35:082 (5) - I'd do a Ctrl+G in this Slider, it looks like you denied that suggestion in xxheroxx's mod, but still. I agree with him, it increase the flow a bit imo.
• 00:44:378 (6,1,2) - This jump is completely random and non-fluent (it plays really forced), it doesn't fit in the music. *Remember:* Good jumps must fit with the song in some way, the Reverse selections in correct spaced objects to make a jump is not the best way. To fix that you have to do a Reverse Selection (Ctrl+G) in (1).
• 00:54:483 (4,5) - The stacks becomes kinda boring, looking that you have 2 previous Stacked patterns. You can make this more enjoyable if you unstack these Notes.
• 01:08:044 (3,4) - The blanket here doesn't look really fluent to me. I'd try something like this for a better flow:
