Zekira: September 19 is not the release of TnT13. I double checked the blog.

'９月１９日（土）に幕張メッセにて開催される「第４７回アミューズメントマシンショー」に、
「太鼓の達人１３」が出展します！しかもプレイ可能！！フリープレイ！！！'

They're putting the machine on a amusement convention on that date. So they'll have a few new songs, but not the full songlist.

Regarding the background change, I believe it to be a bug... but peppy didn't give me a clear answer when I asked him:

"Rokodo [RL]: What happened to the taiko bgs?
peppy: I don't know." -is basically what I got.

I believe he's trying to convert taiko for full widescreen compatibility. Just watch this space, I guess.

Fans have been wanting Mori no Kumasan inner for quite some time now 8-)

How many hidden commands are there in 12.5? Three is already more than I can keep up with, and the Taiko blog doesn't say anything.

Need timing help with Kurenai. I understand it's a rock song so it has dynamic BPM. I don't have a software (yet) that can help me split the tracks into every sequence so that I can test the BPM on each sequence. Can someone do this for Kurenai (or just teach me how you actually get the BPMs for this)?

Great! Hopefully importing Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2 will be a bit more affordable if sold alone. Then I can buy the tatacon separately. And then buy the first Taiko no Tatsujin Wii with my tax refund next year. Then I'll have 2 tatacons! Just as keikakku...

Well, it wasn't planned, but I'm really hyped regardless!

On a related note, maybe the Wii tatacon works better with osu! than the ps2 one through an adapter. Something always seems off when I use the ps2 tatacon...

The PS2 controller is a piece of shit on osu! I wasted a lot of money in terms of wanting to play new arcade maps with that controller...

Man I should ask for an Asian/chipped wii this xmas...

Trouble is I'm worried if I'll be disappointed with the wii tatacon too. You would think SOME third party company would make a nicer one.

Slightly off topic, but it's really easy to softmod a wii these days. I'm gonna be ready and waiting with my American wii!

Looks like Play Asia has Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2 listed for pre order for $50 stand alone. I would go ahead with the "plan", but I'm discovering that the cheaper Wii tatacons are Chinese knockoffs. I don't know if I can trust them for quality, so I guess I'll still have to wait to get my tax refund after all :(

Also, to Rokodo, a chipped Wii is much better and safer than a softmodded one. You don't have to worry about updates bricking the Wii and whatnot. And you get region free right out of the box, and the ability to bypass Wii updates. For softmods, the Disc Channel no longer works if you update to 4.0U and up.

And about the tatacon....My 3rd party one sucks. No one makes 'em better than Namco

You might lose functionality of homebrew, but you should never have to worry about bricking unless Nintendo does something stupid like in the most recent update (which is a whole other can of worms). I can only do 8 star oni maps for now, and I'm in no rush to start tackling Saitama2000! Much less HayaSaitama2000!

OK, strangely enough they changed the lyrics of the Kiai time to the actual Don-Katsu narration.

EDIT: Is the dude playing there using Rolling since he's finishing the burst notes real quick

EDIT2: No crystal, it seems like HayaSaitama is only 1.2x speed, but DoubleTime on osu! is 1.5x. I notice this since I tried it right now... and the osu! doubletime is going too fast.

What no! It's only less than that number of 可. Look at the vid again, player got only 6 可 and unlocked Haya.

...unless I'm missing something here?

I believe aqua or fly had stated earlier that they kept Inner Oni exclusive to the arcade machines because otherwise everyone would just play home console or something like that? o_o

For me,playing Taiko no Tatsujin without a tatacon is like playing Guitar Hero without a guitar controller. It's pointless. For osu! I'm probably going to have to start playing with a controller or keyboard since the compatibility is crap, but I'll definitely stick with a tatacon for a home release,

It doesn't, but the D-pad on mine already broke once. Good thing repairing it was cheap.

The difference is, the guitar controller is compulsory for Guitar Hero, but this isn't the case for Taiko. Since the drum accessories are so expensive and still break easily(for heavy Oni players), might as well stick to buttons, unless you play the arcade.

EDIT: Finished mapping Ryougen no Mai, secret song unlocked by the fifth code of Taiko 12.5. Considered harder than Rotter Tarmination Inner Oni by some people. A must try~! :D

In terms of first time playing this is hell a lot more easier than Rotter. But if you've pseudo-memorized both songs then this is agreeably harder... I guess?

I just can't play properly on osu!Taiko :\ if only the scrollbar is as long as it should be I could probably pass this easier (and that the scoring system is also authentic), since tbh I'm comparing this to be just like a combo of K.Sai and *insert anti-Zekira stream song here*

IMO Rotter is harder, but wikihouse put this song above it, and so many comments everywhere about this surpassing Rotter's difficulty, who knows.

Not the music, arken. I meant who wants to map the songs. I can provide mp3s for all of them.

EDIT: Get the maps from flyboy's thread here too. Also, the X-DAY2000 map has become a mess due to new things in the Taiko Mod (BG position, pippidon), so can I remove those and retime the map?
