Gee, Taikos are comeing out fast, almost as fast as another music game... with the initials GH...
To be fair, the Taiko no Tatsujin series is primarily for arcade, and while it'd be nice for arcade games to simply download or upgrade themselves, it doesn't work that way in the land of the rising sun (though it should). When TnT starts putting out FIVE(!) separate games on console in a year, I'd start complaining (lol not really).jonathan wrote:

On that note, I really wish Namco-Bandai would release Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2 and at least give the option of buying the game and the drum separately. It's absurdly expensive to go and import TnT Wii!

Regarding the background change, I believe it to be a bug... but peppy didn't give me a clear answer when I asked him:
"Rokodo [RL]: What happened to the taiko bgs?
peppy: I don't know." -is basically what I got.
I believe he's trying to convert taiko for full widescreen compatibility. Just watch this space, I guess.

Fans have been wanting Mori no Kumasan inner for quite some time now 
How many hidden commands are there in 12.5? Three is already more than I can keep up with, and the Taiko blog doesn't say anything.

Need timing help with Kurenai. I understand it's a rock song so it has dynamic BPM. I don't have a software (yet) that can help me split the tracks into every sequence so that I can test the BPM on each sequence. Can someone do this for Kurenai (or just teach me how you actually get the BPMs for this)?

Great! Hopefully importing Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2 will be a bit more affordable if sold alone. Then I can buy the tatacon separately. And then buy the first Taiko no Tatsujin Wii with my tax refund next year. Then I'll have 2 tatacons! Just as keikakku...

On a related note, maybe the Wii tatacon works better with osu! than the ps2 one through an adapter. Something always seems off when I use the ps2 tatacon...
