This was if Lucasu couldn't participate with cloudio in their team. He's able to, so their team is still intact I guess.

Disqualify Kiwikun and superfront. Things turned up for superfront so we will not be able to attend. :( But have fun! :D

  1. When you and your opponent have decided on a match time, please post it in this thread!
  2. There's probably going to be some walkovers (because people ;w;), so bear with me there.
  3. When you're having a multiplayer match, please title the game as "osu!Scandi Round 1. *team1* vs *team2*"
  4. When you're done, please change the name of the room if you're going to continue playing.
  5. Remember to post your /mp/ link here. If you don't, your match won't count (which sucks).

only maps i would actually pick in a tournament like this.

but thats just what i think. I just thought that a pro like cxu would pick better maps. I mean this is a 2013 tournament, there should be newer maps, not maps from 2009.

Imagine being the "underdog" vs. a very good team. Now, someone on that team suddenly breaks at 1:29. While everyone else is FCing. Wouldn't it suck if the map was like 1:30 long? Longer maps, especially on easier ones, gives more chances for a combo breaking.
I'm not sure why you even think DJPop is bad.
And when a map is mapped should never be taken into account; a map is what it is, regardless of when it was mapped.

Yeah, try to keep it between 1-2 minutes long. Try to have only one or two 3 minute songs. Make sure they're good, I hope they're not all asian/anime maps.

Get inspiration from the current/previous charts.

Oh, that could be pretty cool indeed (saving replays I mean).
And congrats to winners!
About Miku, the rule is basically that a rematch is okay as long as both teams agree. I just asked Kinomi, and apparently thaaaat didn't happen (as in they didn't both agree), so the results will stay as it is.

I took the liberty of playing through all the maps and here are my opinions:

Round 1
07th Expansion - dreamenddischarger [Hard] by AngelHoney
This map is decent, although it's pretty long. There's also a pretty awkward slider section... : /

DJ Manian - Welcome To The Club [Hard] by TakamuraRin
There's a squared pattern in here that, with the already low AR, is just horrible to play.

syatten remixed celas - Bird Sprite -Awakening of Light- [Hyper] by DaxMasterix
This map is good.

Chayanne - Torero [Insane] by Krisom
This map is probably the hardest map in the pool except for the tiebreaker. Personally I hate playing maps like these.

May'n - Ready Go! [Hard] by DiamondCrash
DiamondCrash SV flow is just horrible imo.

fripSide - late in autumn [Hard] by Glass
I like this map a lot.

ELISA - Dear My Friend -Mada Minu Mirai e- [Insane] by DJPop
This map is pretty nice as well.

GUMI - MeguMegu Fire Endless Night [Hard] by kioukiou
Bad map with low ar.

Tie Breaker:
Atoguru - Itoshi Kimi wo Mitsuke ni [Insane] by bakabaka
One of my personal favourites! <3

Although low bpm/low ar might seem easy, it's actually harder for most players. Please consider using maps ranked after summer 2011 only.
