I think pure white combo color is unrankable. Make it very light gray. Hurts some people's eyes during kiai time iirc.

first of all, what diff are you talking about in Creator's Word? There's no any Normal! Did you mean Standard?

  1. Sometimes i think, that Slider Tick Rate 2 will fit better. Just think about it.
  2. There's no need to have audio lead in. 1800~ms is enough for this music.
  3. Didn't like break in Easy and Standard diffs. It's too short remove it or make a bigger one, please!

  1. Beginner with AR3? ha-ha, I don't think that we're able to call this diff beginner. It's more like well-mapped [Easy]. (AR-1) (or rename diff - not recommended :<)
  2. 00:01:879 (1) - clap here (reverse) sounds weird. And it's off your patterns, too. So, just remove it or replace with whistle.
  3. 00:03:339 - it'll be great if you end slider here somehow. (preferable, if you'll do it without making slider 1/4 longer) (try to do it the same way as you did it at 00:07:393 (1,2) )
  4. 00:04:474 (1) - there's NO clap, at least SO LOUD clap, I think you should use whistle or make this cap less loud. >.</
  5. 00:15:177 (1) - flow (nazi) - I think, that it'll be better if you will move this circle to (x 256 y212) actuall it will give you better flow, imo. like this - just to avoid boring patterns and make it a bit different
  6. 00:35:285 - i guess you need circle here t be consistent with previous SIMILAR pattern. (00:31:717 (2,3,1) - as you can see, there's a circle, and it sounds totally like 00:35:285 - so it'll be great if you put circle here.
  7. 00:48:582 (1,1,1) - three new combos in a row plays a bit awkward. What if you'll try to do something like this - it will be hardest pattern in this diffs, but i guess it worth it. Because music here goes faster and you should try to follow it!
  8. 01:19:717 (1,2) - x1.28 here? Really? Oh, c'mon! This is unacceptable for EASIEST diff! It's easy diff, how do you want beginners to play JUMPY diffs? :V Probably they will be so confused, you'd better avoid things like this.
  9. 01:43:069 (1) - for all diffs - I guess you should try using 5% Volume Soft section becausesong just fades out! There's no ANY hitsound, and spinner should be silinced.

  6. 01:02:690 (4) - critical - I think this slider totally breaks your rhythm/flow because this one has TWO reverses when other sliders have only one. It's confusing for normal players. Because rhythm is quite fast here and they probably will not notice second reverse!

    I think you're using too many1/2s. This is normal (standard) diff!

  3. 00:24:744 (1) - hey! try to replace it with circle and slider! It will give a "growing effect" this way (ignore exra NC on this screenshot)
  4. 00:57:663 (1,2) - why don't you replace oneor two sliders with stream? It will be great and of cousrse it's allowed because this is [Hyper]

    Just a good Hyper diff. Seems pretty enjoyable, even though aren't perfect slidars and a bit too fast (in my opinion) sliders .

  1. How about OD: 8? i think it will be awesome here! Just Imagine how fun this map will be for skilled players! :)
  2. 00:52:393 (2,3) - nazi - I'd manually unstack them this way to make this looks the way better and more readable for hidden-players.
  3. 00:57:015 (1,12,13,14,15,16,17) - rhythm in the end feels a bit different. I'd replace 4 or 5 circles in the end of stream with slider. By the way, it will help you to avoid too long combo chain. :) (let's keep numbers under 16, ok?)
  4. 01:04:961 (4,5) - a bit too suddenly, but I like it. It flows great, if you will notice this jump in time. Just saying that it appears too suddenly.
  5. 01:32:690 (1) - instead of slowdown, I'd replace it with circle because silence will fit better here, imo. example.jpg

    Sure it's a little harder, but it's the climax of the song and things usually get a little harder at times like these, even for the second diff. If it gets too hard, maybe you can replace it with a repeating slider or a normal slider. Just don't do the rhythm at 01:17:779.

  3. 00:24:590 - 00:45:996 This part as a whole (and possibly more of this part in [Another] has to focus more on phrasing with your combos. Sometimes you make a new combo every one measure while in others it is every two measures. I suggest that you should make an NC every two measures.
  4. 01:02:698 (4) - add NC (in this part, you can choose whether the combos should be every one measure or two. Just keep consistency.)
  5. 01:33:185 (1) - remove note and make appropriate space changes
  6. 01:34:320 (4,5,6,7) - a jump like this doesn't occur that much in the rest of the beatmap, I highly suggest changing it.

  9. 00:45:833 (5,1) - I have no alternative for this pattern, but honestly the current one flows so badly imo. As far as I can see, I'm sure that you can make it more exciting.
  10. 01:03:590 (8) - A clap here would be a nice accent. and I can hear an extra percussion in the music. not sure it fits your taste, but worth a try imo. same for 01:13:968 (9) - .
  11. 01:05:455 - umm, personally dislike this heavy beat being ignored and you using a long slider here. it'll be more natural if you use shorter one and follow that emphasis. same for 01:15:671 (1) -
  12. 01:11:941 (1) - Add a finish here. it should suit perfectly with the beginning of re-kiai, and more consistent with 01:01:563 (1) - .
  13. 01:19:077 (7) - The end of this slider is too close to 01:18:752 (5) - imo. It wouldn't hurt anything to move it away.
  14. 01:26:860 (3,1) - Consider unstacking these notes, because you used so many 1/1 stacking in this part so it might be quite confusing even though this difficulty is an Insane.
  15. 01:32:374 (4,1) - This spacing is too close imo. at first I thought it was 1/4. consider spacing them at higher DS.
  16. 01:32:698 (5,1) - Since this point is quite characteristic, how about trying something different here? I would suggest something like this, it can fit nicely with the song and must be interesting!
  17. 01:34:725 (9) - Same as 01:03:590 (8) - , consider adding a clap here.
  18. 01:36:590 - Same as 01:05:455 - , try to stop using a long slider and follow the emphasis better.
  19. 01:40:482 (2,3,4) - Make these sliders more curved and space them at higher DS: these are more suitable for this kind of pattern and looks/flows better. like this:
  20. 01:43:077 (5) - I'm assuming you could hear the cymbal sound in the music.. anyway try to add a finish here. it would be more suitable for the end of this difficutly.

  1. 00:15:334 (2,3) - Maybe moving these a little more to the left would help the flow better? (somewhere around x:100 y:204) 00:15:334 (2) would follow the end of slider 00:14:361 (1) direction and it would become more comfortable for the player to play, in my opinion. Take a look at this:

  2. 00:17:605 (2,3) - Oh, here I think it would be great to align them, like moving (3) to somewhere around x:268 y:352. It would improve the flow, in my opinion.
  3. 00:27:334 (1) - How about aligning it with 00:26:037 (2,3) by moving it to y:92? I think you'll need to recheck the spacing with the next note if doing so, though.
  4. 00:45:497 - How about Finish here? (To follow the sound of the song)
  5. 01:09:497 - Maybe Finish here? (With Soft Addition)
  6. 01:10:794 - ^
  7. 01:11:118 (3) - ^
  8. 01:14:037 (1) - I think the flow here would be better if this slider were a bit more higher.   1. You don't use a specific combo colour to determine a specific slider velocity. All slider velocity changes should be intuitive, and right now it appears you have a lot of new combo spam that is not required.
  2. 01:23:444 (1,2,3) - Silence these slider ends or make them end 1/4 earlier at red. The crash cymbals have the same length as 00:16:309 (1,2,3) - and personally I don't see why they should be any different.

I edited because I read back in the thread and saw the reason it was removed is the SV change. Personally I'm big fan of SV change, I also like CS5, so a little sad this got removed :(

The -prototype- version of Evans is designed to follow a simpler beat. This allows it to be used for easier difficulties in the original games. With its simplistic design, it makes sense that there s no [Extra] - the song is not complicated enough.

That's not what I meant. I meant this [Another] does not go in line with others in this game. To give a few examples:

the [Hyper] in each of those mapsets is harder than the [Another] in this one. (and their [Another]s are even harder)
Don't misunderstand, I'm not saying this [Another] is bad; I did enjoy playing it and it's a very good map, but I also 99.9%d it in two tries which doesn't feel fitting for an [Another] diff. Simpler beat or not, I feel it wouldn't have hurt this mapset to use a bigger difficulty spread. Besides, osu! is not the original games. Mappers can use their imagination and create new and original difficulties for this game mode. No reason to avoid having :more: together
