Also updated Butter-Fly with timing fix. Not so much "timing fix" as "barline fix". 0 ms change on Small Fragments, 1 ms on Butter-Fly. Oh shoo-

Anyways, I think Hard my be the hardest difficulty for Small Fragments, so it should be good to go. Unless someone tells me to make an Oni. Don't think it's needed, but hey!

I'm deciding what to do for note patterns on Oni. Easy through Hard are done. Rhythm down on Oni, just not the blues and finishes. Know where the finishes go, problem are the blues. Help, anyone?

It's on Nanadaime? I can record a video of Auto playing the song of any of the 4 difficulties if you want, arken. And yes I do remember that title being on Nanadaime, so just say what you need and I'll get to it.

Oh come on arken, we'll always be mapping M-notes here (or how Auto catches it, since some songs don't really stay at Master Notes like Koibumi).

EDIT: @arken: here's DE-O. It's one video with all 4 difficulties, and it's in Oni-Muzukashii-Futsuu-Kantan in arrangement. Futsuu was recorded with all master notes.

There was supposed to be a classical music edition for the DS but I don't know if it was just a rumor.

The entry on wikipedia using the title Cantabile, the person who wrote it that is, might have been referring to a minigame that was available in another game with Cantabile in the title, which was based off an anime... or something.

Yomigana is HARD. Especially the ones where you have to name the famous people of Japanese history...out of the names there I only knew one...

There was one Shiritori game where it forced you to start with letters like 'pu', 'pa' and so on- rare letters of the alphabet. Quite challenging, that one.

Guys if you are interested I got LH to make a slightly more realistic health bar for the taiko mode, with the pass section brought up to a more suitable level.





He said they won't be added unless they can be separate sprites (what with osu! mode having a different pass level) so until then, I share these links.

Totally, I mean you could still have a whole new game as well as old maps on the machine. You could select which 'set' of maps you wanted, eg. 10, 11, 12, 12.5, 13... and so on as they will bring out a new machine for each. -_-

What would also be cool then is if it was possible to add your own notes for a map via software from NGBI on your pc. You would take the map with you on a special memory card to the arcade, and then you could play your custom notes on the arcade. Why not? They can always make it so you can't go over 999 or put this note there or whatever anyway. And if this really isn't enough, they could charge you more money for that function.

To be fair, the Taiko no Tatsujin series is primarily for arcade, and while it'd be nice for arcade games to simply download or upgrade themselves, it doesn't work that way in the land of the rising sun (though it should). When TnT starts putting out FIVE(!) separate games on console in a year, I'd start complaining (lol not really).

On that note, I really wish Namco-Bandai would release Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2 and at least give the option of buying the game and the drum separately. It's absurdly expensive to go and import TnT Wii!

wow, it explains why some ppl say whitebry or jinn sang. It's quite frustating for ppl who want to map but use whtebry's one. The lyrics are the same tho.. Damn i want jubeat, but thy onli have DDR n ParaParaParadise..

Zekira: September 19 is not the release of TnT13. I double checked the blog.

They're putting the machine on a amusement convention on that date. So they'll have a few new songs, but not the full songlist.

Regarding the background change, I believe it to be a bug... but peppy didn't give me a clear answer when I asked him:

"Rokodo [RL]: What happened to the taiko bgs?
peppy: I don't know." -is basically what I got.

I believe he's trying to convert taiko for full widescreen compatibility. Just watch this space, I guess.
