It starts with Nikola Tesla.

Then we scroll to Guild Wars, where I need a last name for my noob character. I decide on Teslavi, basically just adding six to the end of Tesla. ('cause five's not enough, and seven's too many)

Occasionally when signing up for sites, I reverse my nick.

To make problems clear, my name is completely random without any meaning(no meaning of ignore me contained). It's just that I use this name everywhere, so I don't feel like changing it in osu.

I faced Metal Mario in the original Super Smash Bros. singleplay, and thought he was awesome. I've been using this name in many places (not all) ever since.

I only use the 201 sometimes, like if my name is taken or if it's more of a "utility" type login, like for a video game. :P

The 201, itself, was randomly generated by WinMX when I entered my username. (It always appends a random number to a username which doesn't already end with a number.) I've been using it (whenever using a number) ever since.

Seven, probably eight years ago, when I moved from living with my mom to my dad, we got our internet connection from AOL, had to come up with a username for an email, was pretty stupid. But anyways, the two of us spent like an hour trying to come up with something not completely stupid or ugly. Eventually he made the suggestion to having something relating to me being such a gamer, giving things like "Nintendofreak" and other similar names. Which I really, really didn't like. Well, after pondering over names for a while longer I eventually settled down and, although not particularily fond of it, went with An64fan, which was an available username. Grew to love it, and have had it as my main username ever since.

Have a few alternate names I've used over the years, as well.

-Eska (What can I say, it's my name)
-Chais (was the name of my fav. chao on SA2B)
-Skyreal (Second main-level name, use it frequently, derived from the name of my first major Naruto OC, Skyreal Mokuro)
-Mokuro or MokuroS (Again, derived from my OC, though this is just a few miscellaneous cases)
-Akehoshi (translate the meaning of my real name into Japanese, and you get this. Third main-level name. Also happen to have an OC with the same name, no immediate relation though)
-LyzaraKitsune (my Youtube username. Had been playing MapleStory at the time, and came up with it there)
-Houkou-NRL (my deviantART username. The houkou is a mythical five-tailed dog in Japan. Love Japanese mythology. Favorite band happens to be No Regret Life. Tagged the two together, viola!)

Ashura is a kind of demon in japanese but i just knew that this year ; i came up with that name 3 years ago. The 43 is just a number that I see realy often because of many coincidences.

Todesengal is a misspelled version of "Todesengel", which is German for "angel of death". I was reading a Newsweek article talking about the Columbine killer (or some school shooter), and apparantly he had played online games with the username "Todesengel".

So I decided to be a douche and use "Todesengel" to see if anyone caught the reference. (no) But since I'm a dumbass, somewhere along the line, an 'e' was replaced with an 'a' and no one corrected me for about three years, when I looked it up in a dictionary.

So if you see "Todesengal", it's probably me. Though I usually go by "Todesengal" or "Plumpy". You don't want to know the origins behind Plumpy.

My friend showed me this site. I typed in my first name, it gave me "Seibei Chiaki-san", and since my very first username "killerkitten4211" was a piece of crap and got me confused for a girl a lot, I used seibei_chiaki_san4211 as my Yahoo name, but it was too long, so I shortened it to Seibei4211. Now that's my username for everything.

Oh, perhaps I should explain 4211, too. So my dad had a spot in Public Storage and we'd go there every now and then. So I was young and asked him about the code thingy and he said he got to pick it and stuff, so I asked him what it was. He said 4211, so I, naturally, asked why. He said that whenever he did something his step-dad said not to do or something, his step-dad would say, "I told you forty-two eleven times not to do that!" etc. So I just started using it since it's a unique number that almost no one else would ever use. EXCEPT ON YOUTUBE, GOD DAMMIT. (If you search for Seibei4211 on Youtube, that's not me, unfortunately.)

Many moons ago (about 5-7 years ago), I was browsing for a cool name to use for a character to roleplay with. I used to be an IRC junkie, always looking around for free-form Role-Playing. Anyways, I eventually found "Shourai" which means "near-future" so I decided to look for something that made it sound even cooler. After a couple searches on a translation dictionary thingy, I found "Hitoshirenu." The word hitoshirenu was described as something like "unseen" so I thought hey, "unseen future" sounds pretty cool. And thusly, my name was born. Been using it on and off ever since~

I've been through a lot of names for various games, forums, and other stuff, and this name is one that finally stuck. Besides, I've never seen anyone else with a name like mine, so the originality factor sticks. ^^

Not much explaining Just used the name of a game and it's famous energy eating alien.

I prefer the in game enemies then Samus herself and that's why I play the game.

Just for record If my Maplestory character were a actual kid with knowledge of magic I'd have him called Max Halo.

When I was a noob on the internet, my name was RealYoshi, most lame name ever. And when I tried to register on another forum, it said someone had the same name. I was like
"What? But I am the Real One!" Then I thought "RealOne" sounds kinda cool. So I started using it. So I havebeen using it for 7 years now. <_<

Oooh, I never ranted about me.

Well, you know the obvious, but I got the name because I'm better at Mario Kart than mostly any other game (probably not platformers). I'm addicted to drifting; I can't keep my finger off that power slide button. I only snake against computers and fellow snakers, but I try not to. I still don't know why I like Yoshi so much. It wasn't SMW, even though he was awesome then. I used Wario in MK64 for a while, so I dunno. SMSunshine was a terrible game. Maybe I'll never know the true time origin of my SN, but oh, well. =P

I have every MK game except Super Mario Kart on the SNES. Stupid orange juice... Hopefully, a VC version will show up.

MK64 is awesome. Yoshi is awesome.[/donebragging] GBA MKSC sucks.

Hmm I thought I posted in here already...

Well it all started when I first joined Gaia Online. I think I found about gaia online from Neopets because I used to RP a lot back then. I thought Gaia Online would be fun to try so I did. I ended up going for the cybering stuff involving other guys back then but then I found out there were better things to do. I just choose the name because I thought I wouldn't be on Gaia Online for long. I think the "ani" comes from anime or animated. "mask" would come from...me trying to be anonymous.

The game goes on from like 10 pm to 6 am game time. How long each hour can take is decided before the game starts. The default is 5 minutes to an hour, but my friend usually chooses 8 minutes for reasons I completely and utterly forget.

I was 7 years old, I was trying to think out a nickname for use on games and the internet etc.
Well I was eating nachos, and well I was just gonna call myself plainly Nacho, but I had to add something to make it more unique, I just saw my stuffed piggy pillow and well yeah, you guessed it, combining them results in NachoPiggy, and well, I still kept the name throughout the years.

First a long time ago i pressed some random letters on wario Ware (the original one) and and well i got XGOR ;) (and when i didn't used it more than that game i liked that name)

Then some years later i was joining Runescape i suddenly remembered my name on Wario Ware and used it but it was taken so i took super xgor :)

And after that i used Xgor on pretty much every site i joined and when that didn't work i using Realxgor (if you find someone with the account name Xgor but don't seems like me please post :P )

A long time ago, I tried to make an account on YouTube. No matter which name I chose, it said "nome de usuário não disponível" (username not available). I said screw this and tried to write nomedeusuarionaodisponivel, but that exceeded the character limit and I ended up with this weird thing.

And then some time later I found osu! and was bored and used this stupid name to create an account on it. Then I saw peppy's announcement saying something about only one account per user and decided to stay with this.

I'm also too lazy (or uncreative, actually) to think up another name and try mailing peppy to change it.

My username on the surface is from the dot.hack// series, as Azure Kite was a character in the game/anime series.

if it were to be dug further, the last part of my name is Kyte, from Kytes, the wizard wannabe fag in FFXII.
Azure also means Sky Blue, so I always think of my username's meaning as Sky blue_Kyte, or something like that.

The origin of my name was a spark of inspiration from Panasonic (so yea, that's the reason why #chinese calls me battery. To be exact, the single name of Pasonia was Panasonic - na - c + a, and I began using that name on Neopets.

I used to call myself sonic_1988, but that sucked so I disassociated myself with that nickname fairly quickly.

Seltia Keros (as seen on my fanfiction site) is actually a middle/last name I devised for Pasonia whom I began to see as my alter-ego. It was supposed to mean "swordsman of the seven winds"and is supposedly originated from the lost language of Glastheim (the same city from Ragnarok Online). In games and offline profiles where I can have a fairly long name WITH spaces, I usually put Pasonia Seltia Keros or place the S.K. in front.

Basically I suck at making usernames, so after sitting there trying to think of one for 10 minutes I typed in an emoticon I like using. Bam.

I actually don't even use the emoticon anymore because it just seems weird to me now.

Mara
DataCirno was just a temporary nickname while I was thinking better one. Data comes from word datanomi(datanome) and I think Cirno is pretty obvious, though I am not so big touhoufag.

LunaticMara is what I have been using since 2010, just happens to be perfect nickname for me. Because people started to call me batshit insane and crazy, I looked dictionary and found word "lunatic". Then I took my favorite nickname IRL (Mara) and put it next to lunatic. LunaticMara. Still many people calls me as Lunatic (on vent) and really stupid people calls me as Luna, but at least I can understand it.
