General
- Kiai times are missing in the following diffs:
- Tenshi's Hard
- Insan3
- Maybe try to give them some kiai time? While you're at it, make sure all kiai times are consistent. As you know, taiko is an execption.
- There are breaks in the following diffs:
- Easy
- Normal
- Consider possibly making the breaks consistent in all diffs or just simply mapping in these parts. Of course, this is only a suggestion.
- Maybe add a slightly toned white to combo colours? Okami is white :3 Also, some of the colours look almost the same, consider making them a little more distinct. xD
- The combo colours as a set differ in the following diffs:
- Insan3
- consider getting that fixed too! ^^

- 01:19:077 (1,2,3,1,2) - I have seen this pattern before,so I would suggest to make a new pattern instead of this.It can make so new feeling to the player.I agree with you here that it would be good to add playstyle variation but in this case I will keep it as is: the 1/6 connected sliders are the only parts where I follow the melody instead of the rhythm - I want the player to feel that and make it more "expectable" by just reading the same pattern again here.

HP6 will be too low for insane. Try 7. -Fixed for p3n
00:11:077 (1) - imo this is a bit too loud as it isn't really an accent. Maybe reduce it by 10% would work.
-removing kat hitsound in general, so this should be no problem anymore.
01:09:744 - considering the drum hitsound sounds quite sharp imo it doesn't really fit with a long flute note in the music and the 1 beat break. Reducing the hitsound volume is a possible choice (-10%).
Personally I like this arrangement, cause its setting some dynamic accents in the song. I will inform p3n though as soon he is online again.
[Hard]
01:19:077 (1,2,3) - Firstly (1,2) can be tweeked so that they are symmetrical. Secondly it's very misleading that (1,2) and (2,3) have the same time interval. This is not common in insane and this is just a hard.
- made it symmetrical, contacting Tenshi~
[Normal]
fine. I still think that the kat-like hitsound is a bit too sharp and a more general approach - soften the wav would be nice.
-removed and deleted the kat sound and added soft whistles instead
[Easy]
00:18:410 (3) - don't really feel like an accent so better remove the clap -removed
01:04:410 - just a litte thought here: the soft whistle shows the transition of sections, but the normal finish can still work well here. hmmm...
- added clap here and at the other similar position.
In overall quite fine, impressive SB and hitsound combination, though the oddity of the normal kat sound may need some refinement.

-- Like Insa3, raise the OD a tick. 5 is way too low considering the difficulty. It doesn't give you more points and I don't want to raise it just for the sake of difficulty.
00:10:077 (3,4) - Take this as a light suggestion, but I hit this double pretty early. You might want to consider spacing it a bit further away despite following distance snap. but just a bit.
00:14:744 (5) - This is incredibly awkward to play, even during the second time around. Anyways, I it'd follow the music better if you added a hit circle at 00:14:632 (5), 00:14:855 (6), and made a half-beat slider starting at 00:15:077 and ending at 00:15:410. replaced with 2 short double sliders.
00:16:632 (2,3) - Again, I'm just not getting a good feel for the music here. Shorten both of the sliders by one tick each and it'd represent what is going on in the music way better. Also, add a hit circle at 00:17:521 (4). hmm, no.
00:20:077 (5) - This slider starts one tick too early. I'm not one to suggest ending sliders on heavier beats than they start off on originally, so I'd replace it with a hit circle and a slider on it's downbeat. See this timeline reference. So yeah, that was basically the end of the iffy beat placement in this map. the way it is now sounds OK to me, so no.
00:42:744 (2) - Do you really want to transition your way into a new stanza/section in the music by a repeat-slider? I sure as hell wouldn't. It doesn't stress the beat enough. I suggest getting rid of one of those repeats and adding a 3 tick-long slider at 00:43:077 (3) just like you do in the patterns to come. It plays a lot better. well, I want to.
01:04:410 (5,1) - Switch these combos around. The new combo should start on the downbeat. hmm. OK.

-- OD6 is too low considering the actual difficulty of this map. Raise it to 7. OD was low since this song is mapped in 1/3 and most players tend to have problems with that in the first few plays - so to make it less harsh I decided to have a low OD. Raised it to 7 now.
00:08:410 (1) - The slider would fit the music better if you shortened it by two ticks and added a hit circle at 00:08:855 (2) like you did at 00:09:744 (6). there are no three drum beats here, thats why there is only a double before the small break. Tbh the drum "pattern" in this song is somewhat random at times but overall this variety is what I really liked when mapping this.
00:09:077 (2) - Why did you leave a gap here? Keep to the beat by adding notes at 00:09:299 (3) and 00:09:521 (4). no drums here so why should I add notes? I don't want to switch to following the guitar suddenly in one combo and I definetely WONT EVER just add notes for the sake of pointless 1/2 spam or 1/3 spam respectively. No change here.
00:25:966 (1) - To be consistent with your combo patterns, remove this combo so that the same combo lasts a whole stanza like before. Alternatively, you may keep this combo and add one at 00:23:077 (7). It'd be easier to just remove it. this is not a matter of consistent patterns here imho. This NC specifically increases readability as the jump pattern ends with the note before the triplet. Yes this can be read in only one colour as well, but personally I think it is a much better design to actually indicate said change with combo colours. Since I can't see a NC "spam" here or just nonsense NCs I will keep it as is. (And I don't think this NC will affect the rankability of this map)
00:33:744 (6,1) - Switch these combos around; the combo should start on 6 because of consistency and it makes more sense to start it on the heavier beat. again this NC is used to increase readability. Should play a lot better with the combos as they are now as it makes the "gap" of 3/6 between 00:33:744 (6,1) less annoying (having said gap in one combo is what I wanted to avoid for the sake of first-time-playability)
00:45:744 (5) - Add a finish here to stress that downbeat. thanks - must have missed that or removed it by accident
01:00:410 (7) - This slider is very scrunched up and is more of a "click and hold your mouse here" kind of a slider instead of a "click and slide" kind of slider. Make it less bunched up. I'd consider changing this slider if you told me it was "unrankable" (which it is not). Unless this slider gets a special treatment I really want to keep it. It is kind of the signature in this map - call it unique or special - and it doesn't even look "bad". I don't know about tablet players, but as mouse only I don't just "hold" this slider but do a small curve which feels "just right" as it seems to follow the melody/flute without missing the drum beats.
01:16:410 (4,5) - Make these two notes a slider like you did with 01:15:077 (4); it'd play a lot smoother. great idea! The flow is more in line with the rest of ths surrounding patterns now.

01:04:299 (4) - Delete? Sounds better to me. nope
01:23:632 (2) - Delete and replace with note at 01:23:744 - instead? Follows the rhythm of the song better at this part. hm. nope.

- I suggest removing kiai from all diffs (except Tenshi's which doesn't have it). I don't think it's necessary, you have a lovely SB and some strobes already; what's the point of adding more flashing? Removed all Kiai's except Taiko, because it has no SB.
- Dark blue combo colour blends in too well with black parts of the SB like 00:00:410 - maybe increase the lum to about 85-100 or choose a lighter colour you like. Chosena lighter blue for all diffs
- Not a big issue but the BG has awful black borders at the top and bottom, it'd be great if you could find a BG without this because the current one doesn't look great. Removed black bars and resized with Photo-Editor
- Add black fade out to the end of the SB, it's odd having to see the BG right at the end of the map.Osu-BG vanisehd~
[Easy]made it consistent with normal
- Why 80% volume at the start and at 00:53:744 you should keep this consistent with Normal and change it to 40% (and 60% if you follow my suggestion) in these places.
00:28:188 (2,3) - Move this down 4 squares (grid 4). Ugly overlap in game. done
00:33:521 (2,3) - Move it right 1 square (grid 4). Again, unncessary ugly overlap. done
00:40:410 (1) - Reduce the volume on this a bit, 40% is good.fixed
01:08:188 (2,3) - Move right 1, down 1 (grid 4). fixed
01:16:188 (2,3) - Down 2 squares (grid 4). done
01:23:077 (1) - 40% volume. yup
[Normal]cool
- 00:11:077 to 00:21:521 - volume 60%? accepted
- 00:53:744 to 01:04:188 - volume 60%

[Insan3]then you are the first one to think that way. but whatever...can't please everyone
- For me this diff didn't follow the pace of the song. Sure, it's hardish and has lots of jumps but I don't think it suits the song.
00:05:077 (1,2,3) - Why's the jump so big? It doesn't really fit; just compare it to how you mapped the same music 00:15:744 (2) - 00:31:744 (4,5,6) - etc) jump seems fine as it picks up the volume change
00:05:521 (3) - Add whistle? sure, since you are the 3rd one to want a whistle right here
00:08:410 (1,2) - Keep the same rhythm as 00:09:744 (3,4,5) - or maybe end 00:08:410 (1) - sooner at 00:08:855 - and add some notes after. Right now it just sounds odd, there's no drum beat in the song at 00:08:966 but you have one and then there's the gap that makes no sense when you compare it to 00:05:744 (1,2,3,4) - I changed it to something I think turned out pretty well as it is easy and repeatitive (jk it is better now)
00:32:188 (6) - Add whistle here? errrrr ok
00:41:299 (2,3) - ^ nope
01:07:521 (2,3,4) - Huge jump for no reason? It comes out of nowhere and there's nothing in the music that seems justify the biggest jump in the map. again volume and fits rather well in terms of flow
01:13:077 (5) - New combo? Helps readability of 01:13:521 (7) - imo well it used to be a NC here...but ppl keep constantly bitching about my "readability NCs"....you are awesom for acknowledging something like that
Still disagree with this, the jump isn't intuitive and there's no real way of telling it's a 1/6 jump without looking in editor or playing it several times; it's just bad spacing and the slider overlap isn't even that ugly. If it still feels too cramped you could always move 00:16:410 (1,2,3,4,5) - to the irght of 00:15:966 (9) - but this needs fixing for me.Tenshi-nyan wrote:
00:16:632 (2,3) - Spacing? It's spaced like 1/3 when it's 1/6. Compare the spacing with 00:13:077 (1,2) - I like this spacing, it's easy enough to read IMO. And I don't want them sliders touching each other.
Any reason? Just tested it again and it really does flow better with this section.Tenshi-nyan wrote:

Unexpected, but a nice surprise

This now has some unsnapped slider ends that weren't there before here are the locations:
Not only unsnapped sliderend, it seem the whole map got a bit off so I full resnapped everything.
00:36:827 (3) - done
00:40:827 (3) - done
01:00:160 (5) - done
01:19:494 (3) - done
01:23:494 (3) - done
If you can fix these that'd be great.
[Insane]
01:24:188 (1) - If you could change this new combo to the middle blue colour it's easier to read. Fixed for p3n

- Considering you're not applying any SB to taiko diff, and the .osb is making scrolling sound corresponding to the SB, just merge .osb into .osu. (and then delete osb and full submit =P)
Sorry I can not change that. If I put the Storyboard into .osu instead of .osb the Storyboardsounds gets twice as loud because the .osb will automatically recreate itself or something like that. That's a Bug and has not been fixed so far. Talk with Lybydose about that if you don't believe it, he has the same Problem on this Map: http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/40339/start=30
- So Pereira006 doesn't really mapped the GD to be ranked? In this case I'm not really sure whether he should be tagged (e.g. http://osu.ppy.sh/s/21754 where Doomsday made a diff) Okay, untagged pereira006
[Taiko]
00:47:744 - Like what you've done before it's preferred to use a kdk / dkd stuff to fit the flute in the music. Consider dkkdk?
Sorry I don't like dkkdk Combos at all :/
[Hard]
I'll suggest a HP-1 since this is just a hard. (as HP in insane is the same) done
00:06:632 (3) - Just a spacing that you can easily fix. down 1 grid lv4 fixed
00:13:744 (2,3,4,5,6) - sounds a bit akward comparing with the quiet music background (don't have better solution but orz) okay
00:19:632 (3,4,5) - ^ sure
[Normal]
01:00:188 (5) - clap at the beginning like you've done before? done
looks ready, so when they're fixed just call me.
