Mod request...
Remember to tell me which mods you applied and which you rejected, along with the reason for rejecting them!

[General]
  1. I'll be honest. I wasn't able to mod this very well because I didn't think that this song was very appropriate for mapping. However, I did point some things out. I'm going to have to rely on other mods to further mod this when I come back to it.
[Beginner]
  1. AR can +1.
  2. 00:01:658 (4) - Just a little concern about this slider starting on an offbeat
  3. 00:37:658 (4) - The way this is placed between (3,5) is awkward; it's not parallel to (3), and it's not in the middle of (3,5).
  4. 00:48:022 (1) - Not sure what was being thought of when these four linear anchored sliders were created... They don't really fit.
[Normal]
  1. 00:08:749 (3) - This was confusing for me even the third time I tried to play it.
  2. 02:08:749 (1) - This spinner length does not make sense, especially with important parts at and 02:09:567 - and 02:10:385 - .
[Hypernize]
  1. 00:08:612 - Should have something on this beat, either one more kickback or another circle.
  2. 00:41:885 (2) - Kickback covered by the hitburst of 00:41:203 (7) - .

[Taikocalpyse]
I just can't.

Good luck.

[Beginner]
  1. AR can +1. Changed and increased some of the other difficulty settings a bit more.
  2. 00:01:658 (4) - Just a little concern about this slider starting on an offbeat. Swapped out for a new circle here and stanza length slider afterwards with a reshape of the entire beginning structure.
  3. 00:37:658 (4) - The way this is placed between (3,5) is awkward; it's not parallel to (3), and it's not in the middle of (3,5). Altered this three slider combo area to all be parallel with each other.
  4. 00:48:022 (1) - Not sure what was being thought of when these four linear anchored sliders were created... They don't really fit. Swapped out the sharp angled sliders here for nice and smooth flowing sliders.
[Normal]
  1. 00:08:749 (3) - This was confusing for me even the third time I tried to play it.
  2. 02:08:749 (1) - This spinner length does not make sense, especially with important parts at and 02:09:567 - and 02:10:385 - .
    Waiting on aston to fix.
[Hypernize]
  1. 00:08:612 - Should have something on this beat, either one more kickback or another circle. Replicated the previous combo idea for 3 half length sliders with the 4th (a circle) being located at the start of the 3rd slider here.
  2. 00:41:885 (2) - Kickback covered by the hitburst of 00:41:203 (7) - . Changed arrangement here to uncover the kickback.
I just can't.

Good luck.
Thanks for the mod, those.

i cant find too many problem....just a little small problem...

[Beginner]
01:38:749 (1,2,3) - distance not uniform~
01:45:840 - this slider not too beautiful~ maybe u can fix to
like this~ or ur own fix it~
01:54:567 - ^

01:35:749 (1,1) - ^ u can move a cell like~(x:272 y:80)~

[F]
omg.....too pro!!!
02:14:135 (F) - this slider is beautiful~ but break the rules~
Every slider must have a clear and visible path to follow from start to end. Sliders which overlap themselves in a way that makes any section unreadable or ambiguous (including "burai sliders") cannot be used. This is so that no slider has an appearance that is confusing or impossible for the player to read.

[Hypernize]
00:01:112 (3,4) - a little overlap~
00:18:294 - ^ u can alignment 5 with 1~
00:21:567 - ^ u can alignment 6 whit 2~
00:32:203 (6,7,8,1) - overlap~ not too beautiful~

  1. Isn't this from touhou? If yes, put "Touhou"to the source?

    [Beginner]
  2. 00:07:931 (2) - looks nicer if you move 1 grid upward :3
  3. 00:58:931 (3) - Make this as the reflection of 00:56:749 (1).

    [Normal]
00:23:476 (5,6,7,8,1) - This is quite hard for a normal diff, maybe delete (6) and (8)?
    01:31:658 up to end - Too many nc's don't you think? :o

    [F]
  4. This diff has different Kiai compared to others, please make them all the same.
  5. This diff has a different Music track lead-in, please make them all the same.
  6. How come that this diff's source is galvenize? :o Source should be consistent.
  7. No tags for this diff? It should also be consistent. :o
  8. AR -1, it's just way too fast ><

[Beginner]
01:38:749 (1,2,3) - distance not uniform~ Distance was fine on my end as the whole map is 1.0x snapped.
01:45:840 - this slider not too beautiful~ maybe u can fix to Both this one and the other were out by 1 grid-point for the slider shape, thanks for pointing this out.
01:54:567 - ^

[F]
omg.....too pro!!!
02:14:135 (F) - this slider is beautiful~ but break the rules~ He already knew and did it as a joke.

[Hypernize]
00:01:112 (3,4) - a little overlap~ There's no overlap here?
00:18:294 - ^ u can alignment 5 with 1~ Swapped out the spread here by a few grid points.
00:21:567 - ^ u can alignment 6 whit 2~ Rather pointless doing this.
00:32:203 (6,7,8,1) - overlap~ not too beautiful~
00:54:840 (7,8,9,10) - ^ maybe u can change more beatuiful like ↓only suggest~ Gridpoints fell out of whack somewhere, adjusted.
01:06:703 (4,6) - ^ Same as above.
01:22:658 (4,5) - distance not uniform~ Adjusted each to a correct snap.
Thanks for the mod.

    [Beginner]
  2. 00:07:931 (2) - looks nicer if you move 1 grid upward :3 Re-adjusted the combo to arc more naturally my own way, thanks for pointing it out.
  3. 00:58:931 (3) - Make this as the reflection of 00:56:749 (1). Changed slider point on this slider to look more symmetrical.

    [Normal]
00:23:476 (5,6,7,8,1) - This is quite hard for a normal diff, maybe delete (6) and (8)? Done as to keep spacing consistent overall.
01:31:658 up to end - Too many nc's don't you think? :o Something happened when aston was altering his difficulty, adjusted it on his behalf.

    [F]
  4. This diff has different Kiai compared to others, please make them all the same. Occurred due to the original work-in-progress this was a part of not having my set-up.

hi there~~

Beginner:

00:07:112 (1,2,3) - remove clap from (2), then add clap on beginning of (1) and (3)?

Normal:

00:48:022 (1) - too far from (4)
01:40:385 (1,2,3,4) - this seems like a 3/2 because of the spacing, so perhaps move these notes out a bit?

Hypernize:

00:28:931 - pause here seems a bit empty IMO, so perhaps add a note?
00:43:658 (3) - add NC?
00:54:567 (6) - add NC?
00:55:931 (2,4) - after other sliders with 3 repeats, these slider would probably throw a lot of people off, so perhaps change each one into two stacked notes?
00:58:931 (6) - add NC?
01:19:385 (1) - remove NC to be consistent with others?

Another:

00:39:294 (15) - add NC
00:39:703 (1) - remove NC

F:

-preview time is different, should be 13112 ><
-combo colors are different, change to the same colors as the other diffs?

Taikocalypse: fine... I think, it's too hard for me to mod x.x

23:26 <ampzz> : Would I be able to hit you up for a mod 4 mod?
23:26 <ampzz> : Just wondering.
23:26 <Kite> : um sure
23:27 <ampzz> : Was it your fripside map that needed the mod?
23:27 <Kite> : yeah
23:27 <ampzz> : Only my railgun or something like that.
23:27 <ampzz> : Sweet, I'll go and download that.
23:27 <ampzz> : Will get the mod done in the next two days hopefully.
23:28 <Kite> : yeah i will mod yours later on
23:28 <ampzz> : No rush at all.
23:30 <ampzz> : Thanks a bunch. :)
23:30 <Kite> : which map of yours?
23:30 <ampzz> : G-garden.
23:30 *ampzz is listening to (bj.HaLo - G-garden)[http://osu.ppy.sh/s/49009]
23:30 <Kite> : ah
23:31 <Kite> : let me testplay it :P
23:32 <ampzz> : Go for it. :D
23:32 <Kite> : which diff?
23:32 <Kite> : is the hardest
23:32 <ampzz> : Hmm
23:32 <ampzz> : It's a toss up between mine (Another) and fartownik's (F)
23:34 <Kite> : sigh
23:34 <Kite> : this is harder than val talent shredder
23:35 <ampzz> : Actual 1/4 220bpm
23:35 <ampzz> : xD
23:35 <Kite> : is this ar 10?
23:35 <Kite> : ..
23:35 <ampzz> : Mhmm
23:35 <Kite> : it is..
23:35 <ampzz> : AR10 is easy read. :<
23:36 <Kite> : its so unfitting
23:36 <ampzz> : Might chat to fart about it then.
23:36 <Kite> : yeah i cant mod this much
23:36 <Kite> : i cant even play it properly
23:38 <ampzz> : Too much?
23:38 <Kite> : one thing that bothered me right now are the 1/4 on sliders before white tick
23:38 <ampzz> : Oh, the circle and sliders?
23:38 <ampzz> : They've got 1/2 gap each.
23:39 <Kite> : and i dislike some of the gaps like
23:39 <Kite> : they are really uncomfortable to play and catch
23:39 <Kite> : but rest ist fun to play
23:39 <Kite> : let me do this in irc
23:40 <Kite> : 00:17:476 (11) - nc
23:40 <Kite> : 00:18:567 (1) - remove nc
23:45 <Kite> : what bothered me is how this plays 00:58:249 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -
23:45 <Kite> : but i cant come up with something
23:46 <Kite> : what you -could- do is make it 2 triplets
23:46 <Kite> : 00:58:453 (4) - by moving this 1/4 later
23:46 <Kite> : plays better even if it doesnt fully follow music
23:47 <Kite> : if you are okay with that suggestions do it for all other similar sections
23:48 <ampzz> : What about if I just reshape the area to be less shit to play?
23:48 <ampzz> : It's sort of clustered up too much to play nicely.
23:48 <Kite> : its actually not that badly clustered, its just that 1234 12 doesnt play that nicely
23:49 <Kite> : and its pretty sudden
23:50 <Kite> : okay to sum up
23:50 <Kite> : those few new combo i mentioned
23:50 <Kite> : 00:58:249 (1) - and this part
23:50 <ampzz> : What about making a whole stream leading into the repeat slider instead?
23:51 <ampzz> : So it would be 1,2,3,4,5,6,7
23:51 <Kite> : it feels weird because you notice the gap in the music
23:51 <Kite> : but it would be a solution
23:51 <Kite> : i still think 2 triplets works best
23:52 <Kite> : try it out
23:52 <Kite> : 00:58:249 - 00:58:317 - 00:58:385 -
23:52 <Kite> : 00:58:522 - 00:58:590 - 00:58:658 -
23:53 <Kite> : for me it plays a lot nicer this way
23:54 <Kite> : anyways, continuing on to finish this up
23:54 <Kite> : 01:03:022 (6) - remove repeat and place the next few beats/sliders 1/2 earlier
23:54 <Kite> : 01:03:431 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -
23:55 <Kite> : triplet at the end of 6
23:55 <Kite> : 01:07:249 - add a beat
23:57 <Kite> : 01:46:317 - add
23:57 <Kite> : 01:46:726 - add
23:57 <Kite> : 01:55:453 - add
23:59 <Kite> : 02:08:294 (8) - the stream starting here sounds better in 1/3
23:59 <Kite> : thats it
23:59 <Kite> : this map will be popular
00:00 <Kite> : hyper looks good
00:01 <Kite> : F diff is also good, only thing that really ruins it is the ar 10
00:01 <Kite> : please tell fartownik to use 9
00:02 <Kite> : normal is fine too
00:03 <Kite> : [beginner]
00:03 <Kite> : 00:12:294 (6) - sounds better 1/1 earlier and extend by 1/1
00:04 <Kite> : ok everything else is fine
00:05 <Kite> : mapset is pretty good :P just some flow problems (beat-wise) in another
00:05 <Kite> : at least IMO, feel free to ignore the suggestions
00:05 <ampzz> : Just trying to form this longer circle stream on the Another.
00:05 <Kite> : but as i said it plays a lot better for me when fiddling around with a few 1/4s you placed
00:07 <ampzz> : The triples I'm not really feeling so those segments have been made into full streams instead but the rest I'm adjusting and rearranging into better looking
00:07 <ampzz> : streams.
00:07 <Kite> : alright

Beginner:

00:07:112 (1,2,3) - remove clap from (2), then add clap on beginning of (1) and (3)? Changed the audio type to Normal hitsounds and placed a clap on 2,3 instead.

Normal:

00:48:022 (1) - too far from (4) Re-adjusted so that 4 sits nicely in between each slider.
01:40:385 (1,2,3,4) - this seems like a 3/2 because of the spacing, so perhaps move these notes out a bit? aston's reply to this was - http://puu.sh/xSne

Hypernize:

00:28:931 - pause here seems a bit empty IMO, so perhaps add a note? Corrected a mishap that occurred when swapping the .osu thanks for pointing this out.
00:43:658 (3) - add NC? Reorganised the combos in this area to read differently.
00:54:567 (6) - add NC? Same as above.
00:55:931 (2,4) - after other sliders with 3 repeats, these slider would probably throw a lot of people off, so perhaps change each one into two stacked notes? Hmm, haven't had anyone who has test-played this mapset complain about this section being hard to do but if I do get more then I will change.
00:58:931 (6) - add NC? Done, keeps this area all nice and consistent.
01:19:385 (1) - remove NC to be consistent with others? Same as before, I rearranged all the combos in this area.

Another:

00:39:294 (15) - add NC Done.
00:39:703 (1) - remove NC Done.

Fiya
Okay, easier taiko diff, but still oni lvl cuz 220 bpm streams are hard lol.

You may want to look into just going into a simple sound file editor and normalizing the .mp3 because with hitsounds at 100% normal there are still points of the song where the hitsounds are completely under the music and very hard to hear.

00:33:840 (5) - move up 1 gird (gird level4) Had to move it up and to the right by 1 grid point to keep spacing consistent.
01:17:749 (2) - how about this ? Wanted to have this slider look more straight than curved.
01:24:567 (3,4) - put like this ? Forgot to fix up this alignment, thanks for the reminder.
01:30:567 (4) - ugly ._. Fixed it up to look more symmetrical but since it was meant to have a slight arc (not straight up and down) I'm not using those points.

aston's Normal ? or just Normal Already asked aston about the naming of this difficulty and he said he was fine with it being labelled as just Normal since I've placed his name in the tags and within the description.
And i'll choose Standard to the diff name ._. Went by Beatmania difficulty names so this stays as is.

00:02:203 (1,2) - like this Changed this entire section differently.
00:20:749 (2,3,4,5) - spacing is weird ._. All the spacing here was snapped to 1.0x but slightly moved the 4,5 to arc is into the next combo's slider.

General:
Congratulations man, awesome music, masterfully made map, nice hit-sounds as well, I found little to no problems, gave a star already.
There is a hiccup though, you currently have 3 insanes (hypernize, F and another, the latter 2 being extra stage i believe), you need to replace one of them with a hard difficulty if you're aiming for ranked. (Edit: My mistake, normal counts as a hard apparently, but you still have 3 insanes)

Easy:

00:12:294 (6) - The slider here felt weird on my test-play, instead of beginning at this point why not follow the guitar and let it begin at 00:12:022?

01:25:658 (4) - This slider didn't feel instinctive, I was expecting a pattern similar to the previous one.

02:14:885 - I believe you should add one note here right before the last note, to follow the drums.

Normal:

00:54:567 (1) - Starting a new combo at this note felt awkward, perhaps start it on this 00:55:112 (2) instead.

02:08:203 (6) - This last slider here, I suggest extending it to 02:08:749 using repeat arrows, so that the cymbal sounds wouldn't be left unmapped.

02:14:885 - Again, add one more note here before the last one.

Hypernize:

Perfect, to me at least. I wont nit-pick and found nothing at all.

F, Another, taiko diffs:
The first 2 are beyond me, I can't mod something that I can't even pass or pass consistently, I'm not at that level yet , I'll leave these to the experts.
I don't play taiko at the insane level, and I'm not a regular player either, no idea how to mod.

00:12:294 (6) - The slider here felt weird on my test-play, instead of beginning at this point why not follow the guitar and let it begin at 00:12:022? No guitar sound here and the slider was following the synthesiser sound instead.
01:25:658 (4) - This slider didn't feel instinctive, I was expecting a pattern similar to the previous one. Was following the scream-like sound in the foreground.
02:14:885 - I believe you should add one note here right before the last note, to follow the drums. Done.

Hey there, from my queue.
A mod for a fellow Australian ;3

[General]

Your standard bg is not a 4:3 ratio, it must be resized. :/
Delete the .osb and full submit, I do not believe it is needed.

Stacking Leiniency in [F] and [Another] is 2. I believe the minimum rankable SL is 4. Also, all other diffs used 7, I think it's a good idea to use the same SL throughout the whole mapset, though I'm unsure if it's required.

[Beginner]

00:12:294 (6) - This slider feels like it starts a little late, how about making it a little bit longer so it begins on 00:12:022?
00:32:203 (3) - I would add a clap to the startpoint to keep consistancy with the hitsound pattern, but I can imagine this was just a mistake :L
01:17:749 (2) - I suggest deleting that second slider point, a slider of this size and speed isn't long enough to make a ~ sort of flow.
01:44:203 (2) - I personally think this slider would look better if you delete the second slider point altogether and move the remaining slider point up and to the left slightly to make more of a curve.
01:49:112 (3) - Same as above, except I'd only move the slider point towards the middle of the slider rather than dragging it upwards.
02:15:022 (1,2) - I would either delete (1) or simply replace the 2 hitcircles with a short slider. This is because new players might be used to 2/1 tapping as the majority of the song is 2/1 tapping, and miss either of the 2 notes.

[Normal]

00:00:022 (1,2,3,4) - Try these coordinates, makes a nice flow:
(1) - x:52 y:120
(2) - x:188 y:160
(3) - x:320 y:120
(4) - x:456 y:160

00:03:294 (1,2,3,4) - Highlight these 4 and drag them so that (1)'s coordinates are: x:252 and y:192. It makes a nice pentagon formation using (2)'s endpoint. 00:10:385 (4,5) - You could use these coordinates to make a nice little triangle pattern using (3)'s endpoint:

(4) - x:372 y:324
(5) - x:388 y:220

00:30:567 (1) - Move the endpoint upwards 5 grids so the slider blankets (4) better. 00:40:658 (4) - The spacing actually confused me here, oddly, how about adding a new combo so that the pause in the hitobjects is easier to notice?
00:52:931 (1,2,3) - You've used the hitcircles in the 2 following combos to make triangles, why not do the same here?
01:31:112 (4,5) - How about changing the trajectory of (4) so that these 2 hitobjects run parralel to (3)?
01:57:840 (4,5,6,7) - Add a new combo to fit the change in spacing consistancy.
02:09:567 (7) - Same here ^

[The Majestic Letter F]

00:01:931 (2) - I'd place the whistle on the white tick rather than the red, in my opinion it sounds nicer.
00:02:203 (1) - I'd also add a whistle on the white tick here, but dont remove the one from the red tick. This makes a nice little 1/1 whistle pattern with the previous two hit objects.
00:26:203 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I played around with the hitsounds and I made a nice little pattern with the whistles, try placing whistles on..

00:26:612 -
00:26:885 -
00:27:158 -
00:27:567 -
:3

01:19:522 (3) - How about deleting the slider points so it fits nicely with (1,2,3) of the next combo?

This.. is.. beautiful..

[Hypernize]

I honestly can't find anything wrong with this one. Very nicely mapped.

[Another]

00:36:840 (6) - Idk why but it bothers me that the two endpoints are touching //nazi, how about making the sliders parallel?
00:41:749 (3,4) - How about.. placing (3) at x:396 and y:116 and (4) at x:300 and y:256 so that (1,2,3,4) make an even-ish sort of diamond thing. o-O
00:49:522 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Hmm, I see you've shaped the stream like this so it fits in with (1,2), but in my opinion it looks a little messy, how about something like this? 01:03:839 (4) - Move this down 1 grid, I know it's a nazi but if you do this then (3,4,5) will have the same gap between the 3 of them.
01:11:408 (8,9) - 2 beat stack in the middle of two sliders.. mm.. not the best idea imo. How about using 0.4 spacing to make it into a short stream formation?
01:14:203 (11) - NC here to signify the start of the jumpy-like pattern.
01:15:022 (1,2) - This here could be a mirror of (11,12) from the previous combo, also I'd remove the NC.
01:15:431 (3) - And then I'd put the NC here because it's kinda like the start of a new pattern.
01:17:203 (1,2) - I'd delete the NC here so it fits in better with the previous (1,2).
01:17:612 (3) - And like at 01:15:431 (3), this is kinda like the start of a new pattern, so a NC here as well.
01:32:749 (1,2,3) - I HIGHLY suggest splitting this into 4 repeat sliders, I greatly reccomend starting new repeat sliders on 1/1 ticks rather than 1/3 ticks, it's painfully hard to read.
02:07:931 (7) - Hmm. These following stream starts on a 1/4 tick. In my opinion, you should never begin a stream on a 1/4 tick as, like starting a slider on a 1/3 tick, it's painfully hard to read and most of the time it'll confuse less experienced players. So, I suggest shortening this slider to the 1/2 tick so that the next stream can begin on the 1/1 tick at 02:08:203.
02:08:203 - So yeah, add a note here as if you listen to the song on x.25 speed, you'll that this is where the guitar(?) comes in. Also, give it a NC because it's the start of a new stream.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very nice mapset you have here, twas a pleasure to mod.
Best of luck having this ranked, take a star!

01:17:749 (2) - I suggest deleting that second slider point, a slider of this size and speed isn't long enough to make a ~ sort of flow. Previous one was exactly the same and I didn't want all of the sliders to be the same boring arc shape.
01:44:203 (2) - I personally think this slider would look better if you delete the second slider point altogether and move the remaining slider point up and to the left slightly to make more of a curve. Changed this differently to how you recommended with it being identical to the previous repeat slider.
01:49:112 (3) - Same as above, except I'd only move the slider point towards the middle of the slider rather than dragging it upwards.

00:40:658 (4) - The spacing actually confused me here, oddly, how about adding a new combo so that the pause in the hitobjects is easier to notice? It's easy enough to read and all of this combo is a part of the same tone.

00:05:749 (6,7) - (6)'s return point is too close to the (7).leave more spacing please.this pattern always annoy me.

00:32:749 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - like this? i have no idea, sorry>< ask some player if you add NC
00:56:340 (5) - touch HP bar. please shift it
01:59:885 (8) - it was uncomfortable for me.

maybe this diff is harder than F. But score is not so..please control score
And you use Slider Velocity 2.00(x1.00 mainly), but i felt it is slow a little. Because this high bpm map has large spacing streams and jumps.
SV 2.20 is best, I think. But it is hard work to try to fix. If you dont think so,need not to try SV 2.20. These are not mod, just my request :D

Good luck!!

12:13 <ampzz> : lol
12:13 <D33d> : Like it occurs mid-phrase and stuff
12:13 <D33d> : Haha, I DUNNO
12:14 <D33d> : Also yeah I dunno, people seem to like putting random jumps around sliders, just to make things fit or prevent
12:14 <D33d> : overlaps or... Something
12:14 <ampzz> : Nah, I must've forgot about this when I remapped the earlier section.
12:14 <D33d> : Okay since we're being picky, you could maybe make 00:39:703- less pointy, but that's not too important.
12:15 <D33d> : This slider makes me feel funny though 01:01:112-
12:16 <ampzz> : It's for the rift but trying to mix in that violin like sound as well
12:16 <ampzz> : Any suggestions for a nice shape are welcome
12:16 <D33d> : Just make it less pointy and make the start and end align like this http://puu.sh/z7ar
12:16 <D33d> : Also, would it be worth using tick rate 2?
12:16 <D33d> : It'd make sense for the longer sliders.
12:16 <ampzz> : Score
12:16 <D33d> : Oh okay.
12:16 <ampzz> : 19.1 mill as it is.
12:16 <ampzz> : lol
12:17 <D33d> : ...Kind of a bad reason to lower it, but whatever works.
12:17 <ampzz> : Hmm
12:17 <D33d> : Having said that, in such an intense map, long sliders would provide kind of a short rest.
12:17 <D33d> : And not having to hit them all the way would be okay and stuff.
12:17 <ampzz> : Let's check.
12:18 <ampzz> : :o
12:18 <ampzz> : Just in.
12:18 <ampzz> : 19.75 mill.
12:18 <D33d> : Oh okay, cool.
12:18 <D33d> : Yeah up the tick rate if you want.
12:18 <ampzz> : Will go for TR2
12:18 <ampzz> : Do you happen to have a silent tick at all?
12:19 <D33d> : I prefer it like that, just because it's the best for following them music.
12:19 <D33d> : Leave it audible, because there is plenty going on in the track.
12:19 <D33d> : And actually, I like the offbeat ticksounds.
12:20 <ampzz> : Alright, sticking to TR2
12:20 <D33d> : Also, you might want to centre this pattern, because big patterns like that are more effective that way.
12:20 <D33d> : 01:15:431-
12:20 <D33d> : And maybe centre some other big patterns? I dunno.
12:20 <D33d> : There's enough space around it that spacing before and after it isn't an issue.
12:21 <ampzz> : As in, shrink the distance between the beats?
12:21 <ampzz> : Or do you just mean shifting it towards the centre?
12:21 <D33d> : No, just move them to the middle yeah
12:23 <D33d> : Also just another couple of sort of picky things for the diff
12:23 <D33d> : 01:23:067- Not too hot about the sliders starting on the offbeat
12:25 <D33d> : Also you might want to get rid of this back and forth stack when there's a slider, 'cause it might make the player
12:25 <D33d> : want to hit the slider first 01:25:658-
12:27 <ampzz> : Ah, no one's had a reading issue with that.
12:27 <ampzz> : Apparently that section was one of the funner bits.
12:27 <D33d> : That's okay. It's just something that I picked up.
12:27 <D33d> : It wouldn't hurt to change it and it'd probably feel better.
12:28 <ampzz> : Hmm, in regards to prior mention of offbeat slider
12:28 <ampzz> : Should I just lengthen 01:22:794 (10) - so it ends on the red tick into kiai?
12:29 <D33d> : I think so, and then maybe have a gap before the next pattern.
12:29 <D33d> : Or something I dunno
12:30 <D33d> : Actually, you could keep the kickslider as it is and have a beat's gap before the next pattern.
12:30 <D33d> : So it goes one, two and three and four and
12:31 <D33d> : Also I'll go through [F] if that's okay, but I might end up pointing out a lot of stuff.
12:31 <D33d> : I dunno.
12:31 <ampzz> : Go for it., fart will probably pick through it anyhow.
12:32 <D33d> : Okay
12:32 <ampzz> : I'm leaving his completely open for himself.
12:32 <D33d> : It's things like antijumps and overmapped streams where it doesn't fit the music, so it'll probably be ignored.
12:33 <D33d> : NEVERTHELESS
12:33 <D33d> : The holds here feel needless and silly and could be changed to 1/2 stacks 00:01:658-
12:34 <ampzz> : Type it in a forum post if that's okay?
12:34 <D33d> : Oh okay yeah
12:34 <D33d> : I'll do that.
12:34 <D33d> : Um, should I save this and paste it too?
12:34 <ampzz> : Mhmm
12:34 <D33d> : k then, I'll do that now
12:35 <D33d> : Oh wait, I should look in the easier diffs for sliders
12:36 <ampzz> : The Beginner I'm fairly confident with
12:36 <D33d> : Okay
12:36 <ampzz> : aston did some lazy work on his Normal if I recall.
12:36 <ampzz> : lol
12:36 <D33d> : I'm not going to get picky about funky shapes, but that one again at 00:54:567- which could be smoother
12:37 <D33d> : In fact I can't be bothered to point out every imperfect shape, so I think that I'll just leave it.
12:37 <D33d> : It's functional enough and it's an easy map, doy.
12:37 <ampzz> : lol
12:38 <ampzz> : Works well enough.
12:38 <D33d> : Or maybe I will I dunno.
12:38 <D33d> : If it was me mapping it, then I'd want to purge myself, but it's okay.

[F]

00:01:658 (1,2)- These kicksliders feel wholly inappropriate and would be better as stacks. Plus, there'd be no reason to make them a new combo.

00:10:931 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4)- The anti-jumps look like spaced streams. Please space these normally.

00:15:158- In this pattern, the 1/4 stack is needless overmapping and feels bad, and then the slider pattern is really cluttered and awkward with circles stacked in the middle of it. I don't know what I'd do here without changing the pattern entirely, but it might be better if you changed the pattern to make it less of a mess.

00:21:294- No overmapped streams, please. Furthermore, the stack at 00:27:840- is overmapped partially, so you could get rid of 2 and 4 and have a pattern such as this:

00:29:476 (1,2,3,4,5,6)- Aside from a lingering hitburst, you have the whole screen to play with, so I don't see the harm in not making this pattern overlap itself so untidily. It'd feel better if the pattern spanned the screen, because it's the end of a section.

00:40:658- I'm not sure why these anti-jumps exist, but I don't like them. You'll probably insist on keeping them, so I can't stop you.

01:58:931- I'm not hot about this pattern, really. The long stack is fine, but the jump after it doesn't feel good and then the first kickslider is overmapped. You'd be better off with a pattern such as this:

If I don't feel like it'd be pointless, then I'll mod the other difficulties at some point.

Hi, ampzz

My mod from your request

Red = Unrankable
Biue = You should modified
Black = My suggestion

General

  1. Remove osb. file in folder (Upload by full submission). It isn't necessary.
This is pointless and I have already rejected this quite a few other times as this file takes up so little space.

Beginner

  1. 00:12:294 (6,1,2,3) - Move (6) to x:368 y:128, then move (1,2,3) to spacing is 1.00x be better. Not changing slider position as that's how I wanted it but I did re-snap 1,2,3 to 1.0x
  2. 00:16:385 (5,6) - Move (5) to x:152 y:164, then move (6) to down 1 grid. Done.
  3. 00:20:749 (5) - Move to left and down 2 grids. Went differently as the point suggested screwed the spacing.
  4. 00:32:203 (3) - Move 2 point to up 2 grids be better. Done.
  5. 00:34:835 (6) - Change whistle is finish in slider end? Done.
  6. 00:43:658 (3) - Add finish in slider begin Too many finishes in this audio section sounds silly.
  7. 01:07:385 (3,4) - Change them is 1 slider? No other part of the map has that short length of a slider so this stays.
  8. 01:12:022 (5) - Make to this code be better? No thanks, changed to make the slider nicer.
    344,32,72022,2,2,B|448:64|484:168,2,200,0|0|0
  9. 01:57:840 (3,4) - Trying to make them parallel. Done.
  10. 02:08:203 (4) - (nazi) Move to x:132 y:116 Changed it differently and re-arranged the final two as that suggestion completely screwed up the distance snap.

Normal

  1. CS -1? (3)
  2. 00:33:567 (3,4) - Make them is 1 slider repeat 1 time, because may be make to people surprisingly.
  3. 00:39:294 (1,2,3) - Change them is 1 slider repeat 1 time be better, or add new combo at 00:40:658 (4) -
  4. 01:57:840 (4) - Add new combo. They've changed of spacing.
  5. 02:09:567 (7) - Add new combo

F

  1. HP -1 (7) It's meant to be brutal.

Hypernize

  1. 01:16:385 (1) - Add finish Done.
  2. 01:18:567 (1) - ^ Done.
  3. 01:20:612 (3) - Add finish in slider end Done.
  4. 01:59:885 (10) - (nazi) Move to right 1 grid
Done.

Another

  1. 01:17:749 (4,5) - Trying to make them parallel. Done.
  2. 01:20:749 (9,2) - Overlap between slider end of (9) and circle of (2). Enough of the default hitburst is gone that you can see where the circle is so not changing.
  3. 01:39:431 (6) - Move to overlap with 01:38:476 (1)? Done.

That's all that I can find them. (I can't mod taiko diff, sorry.)

Good luck~
Thanks for the bits of this mod that were applied and also thanks to D33d.

Hi ~ Mod request from My Queue.

Just suggestions:

[General]
Disable Countdown and LetterboxInBreaks in [Taikocalypse]
Try to keep Kiai consistent in all diffs(at least all your own diffs)
I think it is a good choice to have a break from 01:14:203 to 01:22:931.

[Beginner]
02:15:022 (1) - NC here or it is unrankable

[Normal]
AR+1 because of the high bpm?
00:13:112 (1) - put it near the center due to previous spinner?
02:09:840 (1) - you must add NC to this spinner

[F]
00:10:931 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - anti-jump doesn't fit the music here imo. Maybe change a pattern?
00:21:976 - there should be a note here according to the music
00:24:158 - ^
00:30:294 (1,2,3,4,5) - stack >3 notes may lead to a spacing issue http://puu.sh/zlG7
01:35:544 (6,7,8,9,10,11,12,1) - ^ i think manually stack them will looks better
02:08:544 (3) - unsnapped end. you need to re-timing here

[Hypernize]
01:02:749 (3) - try to keep the reverse arrow clearly?
02:08:135 (1,2) - i think you should re-timing here, sounds off

[Another]
01:39:158 (5) - reverse arrow hidden under 300

That's all I can find. GL~

Nice set of maps ampzz. I think the Insane is the best overall, but the F has cooler stuff in it.

Seeing as F is the harder difficulty I would have liked to have seen a slightly higher SV I kinda felt like the streams were a great pace for the bpm but that SV? iono seemed weird. The transition 2/3 of the way through the song was incredible in F, but

01:32:749 (1) - this totally ruined the end of that transition and it's weird to play it should be changed (but I guess that's just my opinion).

overall good stuff :D

Yuukari-Banteki
[Beginner]
00:26:749 (1,2,3) - the consistent rhythm starts getting monotonous by here...its boring
00:39:294 - there is absolutely no reason for there to be kiai here
01:05:476 (1,2,3,4) - this just feels awkward with the switch from one trail of sound to a different
01:22:931 - again, there isnt anything super special about the music to make this kiai
02:00:022 (1) - line this up with 4
02:03:840 (3) - line this up with 2

[Normal]
00:06:567 (1) - starts too soon after the spinner for a normal
00:13:112 (1) - ^
00:39:294 - ok your idea of when to use kiai is all kinds of horrible. There really isn't ANY place in this song for a good kiai AND THAT IS OKAY.
01:00:022 (2) - line this up with 1
01:03:294 (1) - too soon after a spinner
01:07:658 (1) - ^
01:12:022 (1) - ^
01:42:567 - see, THIS is a good place for a kiai. put it at the START of a section.

[Taiko Oni]
First off, this starts too early in the song. You need a longer lead-in time.
Second, the finish streams are incredibly stupid. They just are. Back to back finishes 9x in a row is just all kinds of no. A good ratio is to have one finish each time there is a finish sound in the music, or alternately one every 15-30 seconds.

[Taikocalypse]
Again, you need a longer lead-in time.
...I'm truly sorry but I cannot even read this map fast enough when i have it on halftime to be able to mod it properly.

[Hypernize]
same Kiai issue as before
00:39:294 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this whole combo looks kinda messy
00:43:112 (5,6,1) - between the jump and the overlap you've managed to completely fail any purpose this jump might have...it doesn't follow the music and it doesn't keep 1 from being hidden
00:59:749 (9,1) - messy overlap
01:02:749 (3,4,1) - ^
01:30:567 (3,6) - 6 is pretty hidden
01:41:476 (1) - horrible jump
This map severely fails the spread test...I can pass Normal with a pretty decent score and itll be a looooong time before I can ever even think of playing this. Either add a middling difficulty (maybe in place of Taikocalypse since you have 8) or reduce the difficulty of this map.

[Another]
00:00:022 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this overlap is horrible, unnecessary, and pretty thoroughly hides the notes. This must be fixed.
00:02:203 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - extremely messy overlap
00:09:703 (1) - note is too soon after spinner (min. of 1 full beat)
00:27:158 (5,7) - messy overlap
00:32:612 (7,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2) - http://puu.sh/AQrF I need eye bleach now
00:39:703 (2) - at least stack this under 5
I think you have a severe problem with this map that you have so many notes down that its difficult to find a portion of the screen in which to place the next one that DOESN'T hide it, let alone achieving this without a jump. In other words, your map is a horribly overmapped cluster that should not exist. I'm not even going to bother commenting on the rest of this difficulty because it's just that bad.

00:04:658 (1,2,3,4) - you know players are going to kill you because of this right?
00:23:476 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^
00:29:203 (3,1,3,5,1,2,3,4,5) - very hard to read
00:42:840 (2) - these are just not parallel enough to make me twitch without being not parallel enough to look like it was intentional
01:14:340 (2) - this is kinda slow out of nowhere
01:39:294 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - messy
01:44:476 (2,3,1,2,3) - ^
01:47:203 (3) - almost entirely hidden
01:54:158 (5) - line this up with 3
I was extremely relieved to find that this map was not nearly as bad as the previous difficulty would lead me to expect.

This map needs a lot of work, the spread from N to I is horrible, and there are at least 2 difficulties (Taikocalypse and Another) that might need to be entirely remapped. Good luck!

Edit: First off I would like to point out that my condemnation and points about the Taiko maps come directly from asking two of my friends who play Taiko for their help in modding this. It is not my skill, only my words.
Second, this from the Taiko ranking criteria indicates that a lead-in time is necessary for Taiko maps, whereas neither Taiko map actually has a lead-in that contains music.

00:32:749 (1) - btw, in another, this is really wrong but not because any of the words mentioned ^^ you probably know the music in this part is a "3 in a group" pattern, so why not just organize your circles (messy overlap lol) in that way?
