General
Volume is too high for many sections. The whistles give me a headache.
Add those hitsounds - Please, please please do: http://puu.sh/vCxl and http://puu.sh/vCxK. A clap with lotsa echo and a simple bass. Perfect for this song.
Tell all mappers who took part in this map to re-work their hitsounds D:

thanks but no thanks. i feel that the current hitsounds are fine. i tried using your hitsounds but i got lost right away. in other words it'd be hard for me if i used your hitsounds as i'm not used to them in a calm song like this. it just doesn't fit my style at all.

Agree with 249 here. It's hard for me to use your hitsound in this calm song. Maybe it doesn't fit my style :|
About that slider, i just want variation, nothing wrong. And i don't think it's ugly. :|

  1. first of all,are you sure of source? should it be capitalzed? though I didn't find a certain answer in the web - all ranked maps have Air as source. I think it'd be consistent at least.
  2. please make tags similar. even though you don't seem to miss anything - the order is messed up,so better to make them consistent in all difficulties.
  3. why 249's Easy has 2 fountains instead of whole kiai section as in all other diffs? D: looks a little weird,I'd fix that.
249's Easy
hitsounds from the start and up to 00:52:203 are way too loud D: especially soft-whistles sound out of place,so I'd suggest to reduce volume to 50% or less.

and there's no break..I wish there was,at least in the easiest difficulty.
the only spot I could suggest is 00:44:340 - 00:52:203

  1. 00:26:650 (3) - I'd end this slider at 00:27:633,otherwise your rhythm breaks..and btw it'd follow the lyrics.
  2. 00:38:444 (2,3,4) - it follows the main rhythm,but looks doubtful comparing to the rest of the map.maybe try this?
  3. 01:47:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I see logics in this hitsound pattern,but it could sound better imo >_<
    personally,I'd add claps to 01:51:662 (4 & 6),but adding claps to all these notes - 01:50:188 (2,3,4,5,6) - sounds good too,as it's the growing rhythm part between the chorus.
  4. 02:17:215 (2) - here too,I'd add a clap if you're following upbeats.
  5. 02:29:500 (1) - do you really need this object? why not to extend the previous spinner up to the 02:30:483?

  2. 00:59:082 (4,5,6) - catchy rhythm,but I'm surprised to see it in the Normal diff D: as you use mostly use 1/1 rhytm,blue ticks look a little out of place. if you're willing to make it easier,but to keep this rhythm - the only thing I could suggest is:
    if you change it in this way - dont' forget to fix such moments through the map!

  3. 01:54:119 (1) - this spinner is a little short,maybe start it from 01:53:259?

  1. 00:12:154 (1,2,3,4) - this rhythm is different from others,and it doesn't sound that good T_T adding another note to 00:13:382 and starting that slider from 00:13:628 could solve this problem.
  2. 00:23:702 (3) - simple 1/2 rhytm sounds much better here >:O the only note that you could delete is 00:23:702. if you wanted to make another slider - start it from 00:25:667 then.
  3. 00:52:694 (1) - was this nc intentional? just to point out the finish at 00:52:203 (1)? anyway,I'd remove nc from here.
  4. 00:56:871 (1,2) - and this one for sure,please,it looks sooo awkward :C
  5. 01:05:471 (8,1,2,3,4) - something wrong with this! as you didn't start repeating sliders from 01:05:962,obviously they wouldn't be consistent. anyway,I see a different way how to map this stream and it'd fit Hard difficulty in a better way imo:
  6. 01:37:903 (5) - I'd make a 1/4 reverse-slider here instead,so it could sound better with 01:38:886 (2).
  7. 01:54:119 (1,2,3) - the funny thing that you mapped such parts with streams,but this one and the next in chorus are much more easier xD
  8. 02:17:706 (1) - clap here and at 02:17:952 would make it much better.

the only spot I could suggest is 00:44:340 - 00:52:203 if i do that, then i'd feel uncomfortable if i add breaks here.

  1. 00:26:650 (3) - I'd end this slider at 00:27:633,otherwise your rhythm breaks..and btw it'd follow the lyrics. i had a feeling this would turn out bad. fixed.
  2. 00:38:444 (2,3,4) - it follows the main rhythm,but looks doubtful comparing to the rest of the map.maybe try this?

If you are really concerned about the eyes of the player, then don't use Kiai at all. The Kiai bursts are the most annoying/brightest part of Kiai, and as I mentioned before, it confuses/alarms beginners when playing taiko.

by saying that you're ruining my style of mapping. what you're seeing right now is my new style of mapping. it wouldn't feel like a 249 diff with no kiai. that's why i said i wanted to try something new. i want to put something similar to a "bang" because after watching my previous ranked diffs, i'm starting to lose interest in the kiai time since you have to wait for it to be finished for a while, so i decided by doing a kiai burst, it makes it effective as it's like a loud "bang" similar to fireworks shooting from the ground or from a stand. i got this idea from my 1st ranked diff. i saw that it's really cool for me to see the kiai burst pop up instead of waiting for the kiai to be done for a long period of time, so i said to myself: why not do it on your other diffs. and that's how i made this diff a kiai burst.

Look's like there's already a bit discussion about the kiai stuff above my post, so i'll just leave the final choice to the mapperhere, but still, i think it woould be alright if you put the 249's diff kiai on the same timing as the other's diff, since when it comes to play, i think it was not really a big deal for the player even the newbie, for the whole (i say this for the whole, since there always the people who have some trouble on looking the kiai too
    , but i'm sure they're not so compared with the normal people who can easily adapted with it.) lol i even not realized if there was a kiai time before until i'm started to make a map before, doesn't have any super significant difference, just more lightly, and spectacular xD

  1. 00:01:097 (1,2) - instead of make the (2) position like that, i think it would be better if you make it symmetrical with (1), can be done by copy paste the (1) and then flip it horizontally :3, but if you do this, automatically you should fix the next slider after this two too.
  2. 00:12:891 (3) - i think this kind of position are not really friendly with the player when playing it, If it was me, i think i'll just make that (3) on the lower side (under the 00:11:908 (2) - ) instead placing it on the right side of (2).
    It would be like this:
  3. 00:20:753 (3,4,5) - make this a zigzag pattern instead of straight pattern? seems a bit monotonous here
  4. 00:34:512 (2,3,1) - Same as above, i think the flow between that three notes/slider are not very friendly to play by the newbies, consider move the 00:35:987 (3,1) - into the right maybe? Something like this can works too:

  6. 00:52:694 (2) - this slider are a bit more curved when i'm see it, compared with 00:54:168 (3) - , I think this can be fixed by make the slider curve on (2) same with (3), and vice versa if you wanna d it reverse.
    Make it an anchor pattern would be good too, like this:
  7. 00:55:643 (4) - stack this with 00:52:203 (1) - , I the flow from 00:54:168 (3,4) - seems too sharp and really hard for the newbies to play imo
  8. 00:55:643 (4) - as for this, i recommend to move position into the 00:55:643 (4) - position before i'm ask you to stack it with (1), and then rotate it a bit to right. Since it can fix the flow between 00:58:100 (2,3) - , it was also able to forming an arc pattern on 00:58:100 (2,3,1,2)
  9. 01:24:144 - put the notes here? I think it would be weird if you just make this part spaced out while after that part, you make quite long 1/4 beat pattern
  10. 01:33:480 (3) - make this slider with the same curve as 01:31:515 (1) - , way more better and it can makes the pattern more consistant
  11. 01:44:783 (2) - move this down a bit. i see the 01:43:308 (1) - repeat slider and 01:44:783 (2) - slider are too near from each other
  12. 02:02:964 (1) - move this down, although the flow on 02:02:473 (6,1) - is nice, but it was bad on 02:02:964 (1,2) - .

  1. wut... 1,6SV for normal? Although it was still doable and pretty easy for normal, but i think if you use the lesser DS for this diff it would be better (you're using even more big DS here, 1,2 D:). Consider to use DS 0,7-0,8 here.
    Actually i'more prefer SV 1,2-1,3 for this diff, although it will be looks more easy, but i think it would be looks like the real/actual normal diff when play.
  2. the pattern looks fine though, just the spacing and the SV that i think need to reconsider/fix again :3

  1. To be honest i saw that SV1,8 are not really match if you make some of the pattern on this diff with 0,5 SV multiplier for the slower effect. If it was me, i think i'll use SV1,6 and then set the slow SV multiplier into 0,75 instead (i saw that setting to be more natural on the slider speed change). Please reconsider this since it will make the diff improved too^^
    If you agree with me, then you need to fix the whole pattern and spacing later orz

  7. 00:45:077 (2) - move this up a bit, better flow.
  8. 01:12:350 (5) - rotate this a bit right, i saw that the pattern position 01:11:613 (3,4,5) - are well not consistand, maybe because it looks like a symmetrical position but not really symmetrical.
    Move the 01:12:104 (4) - notes a bit left are works too i guess :)

  1. Is it just me or i feel that the custom hitclap sound here are really weird here? It's still pretty match with the song beats though, just, i'm expecting to hear a snare drum voice rather than muted-like voice (i don't know what kind of voice type here xD) for the hitclap here :3

Umm, I don't think that will be problem. This song has low bpm, and looking to hard map that has long stream and many 1/2, so this will be a good option to keep the map balance. Well, thank you for modding Envi :)
