Worst "catastrophes" we get are small tornadoes which take down trees and they may cause some damage to buildings. But they are pretty rare. Plus there's summer lightning storms and hail storms. And that's about it.

I do suggest that this thread will work as "thread about Finland for non-finns". If it would have a catchy name, we could stick this.

Pretty much this:
"It's more like a big brother vs little brother rivalry, not hate. 200 years ago Finland was a part of Sweden, functioning sorta wall against Russia. Finns were much poorer back then as Swedes being educated and rich at the same time. Things have changed by now though, Finland being atleast as succesful as Sweden. This of course has resulted in much stats comparison ie. "we are much better in that", "oh yeah well we are much better in this!".
But as I said, it's more like a friendly rivalry between them, Finns don't really hate the Swedes, and Swedes don't hate the Finns. Of course we like to make funny jokes about each other though.
