1st pic - Not my cat. I'm dead serious.
You can see how crowded the desk is on one sde - random unfinished papercrafts and stuff. (One is moon from Majora's Mask, other is Ocarina of Time.)
Fresh install of XP, so not much on there.

Again, not much change, but decided to show how the post-its MULTIPLIED!



The reason why I don't move the old ones is because I keep getting remod requests, many of them from several notes before. ^^' The new notes are crap, btw. Too much glue.

I don't like opening Notepad all the time. At least with the notes I can just run my finger down the list until I hit something that I haven't modded yet. It's much more convenient than having to open Notepad EVERY TIME I want to add something to the list or check what's next on my list.

This too is way too much work and inconvenient. Seriously. I just tell people to name me the map they want me to see, and I write it down. Then I can just glance it later when I need to. Besides, I never clean out my bookmarks and already have too many.

Seriously guys, I don't like opening programs (or anything else, including an agenda, journal, etc) all the time. In fact, it's completely unbearable for me. Running my finger down the list of post-its is easy and quick though. :P

Word. It's great. There's just me and the other tracking guy in this massive office. You can see the empty desk infront of mine a bit. Behind me is his desk and a big ass work bench full of satellite testing kit. Before I was down in accounts and travelled endlessly between my desk and the workshop. The new office is a good balance, none of the noise of the workshop + less people. We have windows and aircon, good times ahead.

The Razer Lachesis is possibly the most awesome mouse ever.

Stepmania completely killed my own laptop keyboard. The down arrow barely works anymore, and all four keys have big holes in them. If I can find my camera I'll get a picture. :D

Not really desktop but kind of appropriate

I bought an projector projector last night for AU$250 (about $200US), pretty happy :)

It's 1pm here so there's too much ambient light but Mariokart DD was definitely playable. Looks much better in darkness, and for the price I'm not complaining. It has a stupid proprietry VGA connector adapter which is fucked (no red channel) so I'm going to have to fix that.

Actually it's just keyed like that, there's no keystone on this. So basically the bottom of the projection is level with the projector. It means it's fine for most situations but isn't as flexible as some. I'm playing Twilight Princess on it at the moment since I haven't yet.

My desktop will look godly neat and tidy next to all of yours. Of course, that's because I don't actually own a place to put my computer. My parents demanded that I move my laptop to this room I'm in right now (not my bedroom), and they always keep nothing on the desks. Also my laptop's being re-imaged at school right now (bastards wiping my disk and everyone else's :x ) so I'm using my desktop which is just as neat... since it's in the same room. But I can't take a picture because well... it's not my space and based on my desktription above, I think you'd have a basic idea of what it'd look like.
