as I don't know your preferred genres for VNs, here.

sorted out by ratings, so most of the stuff at page 1 must be good.

How do i get the first 3 scenes? o_o Also I still have missing CG: (spoilers orz)
spoil me!
-Don't give that cat food the first time you meet her, she'll rage
-Go out w/ Antoinette
-Tell Aeka to hide on shopping date

nothing H, just for the lol
IIRC you'll get the options for them along with the main storyline regardless of which girl you choose in the first place, so you wont miss it. Not sure about the third one :/
hey, i thought everyone'll say "Aeka's the best damn ending evurrr"
looks like im not alone yaay :D

finished in 1 day for Aeka, 1 day for neko, 3 days for Mizuki
interpersonal relationship are so generic lols XD, touching ending tho

i'm moving on to koihime musou now~
Kanu's CO power Ougi exploit lol, broken skill is broken
need moar strategy-VN games that is not sengoku rance
Firo Prochainezo
Aeka's ending is fucking silly.

I did her route last because it sucks.

Couldn't agree more.

Finally got around to getting:
  1. Akatsuki no Goei (and its fan disc)
  2. Coμ - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku
  3. Hinomaru
  4. Ludesia Spidering with Scraping
  5. Shikigami
  6. Sumaga
Besides that I started over in Shuffle! again since it's been a while so it should feel fresh to me now, <3 Kaede. Can't wait until Momoya's route is translated for Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai!!

Also Zerostarry, if you're after a few VN recommendations, try some of these:
  1. D.C. ~ Da Capo ~
  2. Eien no Aselia - Kono Daichi no Hate de (SRPG elements to it but pretty basic)
  3. Ever17
  4. Kara no Shoujo (Heavy content)
  5. Saya no Uta (Heavy content)
  6. Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo
  7. Shuffle!
  8. Swan Song
That should tie you over for a few weeks unless you power marathon run through each of them.
mekadon_old
Akatsuki no Goei <3

Started reading Hanahira and the loli artwork almost made me drop it. Luckily it's Fuguriya's work so I can possibly continue it xD

Downloaded Kara no Shoujo just now, reading that as well.
Faust
lol Hanahira.

Silly game.

I can agree on this though.

Too bad have to finish this because I used 1/6th of my internet quota for this.

They should release a new Hanabira :D

Now I actually realized that I haven't read Higurashi yet though I had it for ages D:

try Eien no Aselia -The Spirit of Eternity Sword- http://vndb.org/v74
its a nice strategy-VN, but it might be a bit long if you try to get all of the endings

will also recommend utawarerumono, gadget trial and daibanchou(same company as sengoku rance)
and god forbid, Pretty Soldier Wars AD 2048 if ur into tentacles(this is my first vn lol, must explain as to why I don't find tentacles revolting. crappy story but it has some nice cgs).

Yeah, it was actually on my 'dropped' list but for some reason I felt like playing it, the ending was worth the trouble tho.

also, dling kara no shoujo
edit : playing kara no shoujo, I can't believe it's just 1gb
edit2: this is the first time I regretted so much about not saving every now and then. I got carried away by the story, and it seems like I didn't get the true end(at least it didn't look like one, since reiji just gave up on the search after the makoto guy was brought in). I thought I'd scan through every choice I made and see what happens, unfortunately, the last save I made was that of April 6, the night whenthe tojiko novelist disappeared.

At this rate I may just end up using a walkthrough, going all over the investigations, inferences and the where-do-i-go-to-waste-my-time choices are too time-consuming if done manually.
edit 3: WTF IS WITH THE TRUE END?!?!?!

Homes internet is down so I took the time off to clear off a few films I downloaded much prior.

Let's see,The Boondock Saints, Mardock Scramble 01 and Cowboy Bebop: knockin' on Heaven's Door (2011 Re-release).

Read some Shikkoku no Sharnoth as well. Kinda lengthly with the narration and text, but alright.

Hm... anyone have recommendations for good free ones for a neophyte? I've been through True Remembrance and Narcissu, though I liked the first a lot more.

Try Sharin no Kuni : Himawari no Shoujo, it's quite nice.

also, just finished kikokugai, not sure what to say about it, but I thought hanachirasu was better.

Looks interesting, but it's not free. Not that money is an issue but I'd like to try out a few more before really getting into this. Plus, I can't make head or tail of how to order a product from a Japanese website.

might try utawararemono later
replaying gadget trial right now (trying for full S)
maybe not for daibanchou

2048 gameplay elements is broken, in a very bad way. 90% acc but miss all the time? OK

If you're after some legitimately free ones you can download some of the translated trial versions of visual novels such as:

- Aiyoku no Eustia
Trial download: http://august-soft.com/eustia/download.html
TL patch: http://www.sendspace.com/file/9137qe

Kira☆Kira and Higurashi When They Cry are available in trial formats as well on Mangagamers website.

Then there's a handful of free released as well:

- Katawa Shoujo
Site link: http://katawa-shoujo.com/

- Red Shifft
Site Link: http://insani.org/redshift.html

it is translated (or i wouldn't be able to play it), or the back-port is anyways.... its just the translation is a patch :s

Uwooooh!

Momoyo's route was so damned good in MajiKoi!! which made it well worth marathon reading through it upon its release. Her dere side is almost too unbelievable that it's good.
I knew Momoyo would be my favourite route in the whole game, now all that's left is to see Miyako and Kazukos routes and that's another VN off the list.
DO NOT CARE FOR THE SIDE CHARACTERS!

After which is my impatient wait on Aiyoku no Eustias translation to begin...
mekadon_old
So I just finished downloading Cure Girl asasfsafasfsfafsdadsfsad

illusion games are the best, beautiful 3D artwork... included @schoolmate & @homemate. but its poor that the story just a lustful men with his harem XD

but i usually played sonohanabira, a Yuri KN (Kinect Novel), and yes. who doesn`t know what KN means, in my mind KN mean a visual novel with only one-route.. you just have to click click and click to follow the storyline

illusion games are also rather poorly optimized and take too much space for a game that would require you run on at least a 3.0 GHz processing chip with a reputable graphics card for flawless play, which if it isn't then it isn't worth running on your PC.

Sono Hanabira is what you'd call a linear novel since each game focuses solely on a single pair. It's neat, but can be tiresome after a while.

my processor 1,6ghz dual core, the poor one in market.. works good playing illusion game... but yes the size of the game is just big~ and i choose sonohanabira because the size of the file are affordable for my (expensive and usually disconnected automatically) connection :x

Don't forget Steins;Gate! It's a Visual Novel too! :D But it's not translated, sadly.

Umineko is full of traps, I guess.

Mangagamers'translation of When They Cry is pretty terribad, though. Just saying.

I'm waiting for the fan translation to be updated; they are still continuing the project even though a licensed translation has been released. The fan translation of the first chapter is remarkably more gripping and immersive than the MangaGamers translation. Sometimes it looks like they just ran the script through spellcheck, and even then there are still spelling and grammatical errors.

Anybody knows when Steins;Gate is going to be translated? Or is it already in progress.
Also, did somebody read and watch ef ? Is the VN the same like in the anime? Or do you play different chars
Oh, and someone got recommendations for a Turn Based Strategy besides Sengoku Rance?

thanks in advance
