The drugs are something new, I haven't yet read a VN about substance abuse, it gave me a new outlook on it altogether for some reason. I honestly thought she was a fairy until half her story was over, so the story had much more effect on me ;_; orz. I got teary eyed at some moments.

I use walkthroughs and proceed from there. Also... Dunno if I should play Muvluv Extra/Unlimited and move to Muvluv Alternative. Heard all those were really good.

Then again I tend to (on first play through) get the better path regardless of how I approach them, or even if I'm after someone else originally.
Examples:
- Aselia (Eien no Aselia - Kono Daichi no Hate de)
- Harem end (Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo)
- Kaede (Shuffle!)
- Nemu (D.C. ~ Da Capo~)
- Usami (G-Senjou no Maou)

Yeah, walkthroughs kinda take away the fun and challenge in playing VNs, as well as the sense of accomplishment that one feels when finishing a certain route, or 'capturing' a certain heroine.ampzz wrote:

Sengoku Rance - for Yamamoto Isoroku? and that Uesugi Kenshin? route.
Daibanchou - wanted to see if Camilla had a route, and just decided to use the walkthrough anyway.

IIRC you'll get the options for them along with the main storyline regardless of which girl you choose in the first place, so you wont miss it. Not sure about the third one :/

edit2: this is the first time I regretted so much about not saving every now and then. I got carried away by the story, and it seems like I didn't get the true end(at least it didn't look like one, since reiji just gave up on the search after the makoto guy was brought in). I thought I'd scan through every choice I made and see what happens, unfortunately, the last save I made was that of April 6, the night whenthe tojiko novelist disappeared.
At this rate I may just end up using a walkthrough, going all over the investigations, inferences and the where-do-i-go-to-waste-my-time choices are too time-consuming if done manually.
