Invigorate 3 and null/repel physical is all you need, and honestly you should have had that shit in like the second dungeon (at least in the case of invigorate).

Been playing Persona 1 for PSP and regretting starting on Normal as the game is easy as hell. It's also tedious as hell to play with random encounters every 10 steps.
Kind of wish they had just gone for a full remake of the game or at least a complete overhaul of the battles/encounters.
Mostly enjoying the game overall and I'm happy the game came with the full soundtrack (except the english version lacks the cool butterfly cover).

Doing the same here, working on Daisoujou at the moment.

I had to grind three levels and "evolve" two demons to beat matador. Apperently level 18 isn't enough without using cheap tactics.

Depends entirely on what mode you're on. On Normal, I beat Matador rather low (I think 14?). Think I managed to do that around 16 on the hardest difficulty.

I also beat Thor at level 20.

Mogsy and his debuffs.

I was down to two demons including myself when I dealt the finishing blow.

Remco32
Just beat Thor. Wasn't all that difficult.
So awesome that Dante appeared in the game.
Ivalset
Weird, I picked Nocturne back up again two days ago and apparently a bunch of people did as well. Hivemind or some shit.
LadySuburu
I used a def buff on my team, but that's it for matador on hard. I wasn't clearing his agi buff, and I didn't use Dark Might / Bright Might, ect...

I keep trying to play and getting gimped right as I'm going back to save. <.<

Persona 4 port for PSV, Persona 3/4 crossover fighting game for arcade, then ps3/360.

Time to get a vita, motherfuckers.

I literally just heard this from my brother. P4V will be sweet as it won't cut stuff and will add a lot of stuff. And the fighting game I may just get since it's being done by the same guys as Blazblue.
Ivalset
I'm actually more excited about the fighting game than P4V.

I'd be more excited about P4V if there was a female MC, but I guess they can't use that gimmick again.

Persona Team Intimately Involved in Persona 4 Fighting Game Development

Latest details on this week's unexpected Persona announcement.

Posted on 08.31.2011 at 12:17, by Anoop Gantayat

The big shocker from this week's Famitsu is Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka, an HD fighting game based of Persona 4. A few additional details have surfaced since word of the game first broke earlier in the day.

As detailed earlier (see this story), The Ultimate in Mayonaka is being developed by the BlazBlue staff at Arc System Works. But the Persona team appears to be intimately involved.

Speaking with Famitsu, the game's producer, Arc's Toshimichi Mori, said that he was shocked when Atlus came to them with the offer to work on the title. The BlazBlue team includes many fans of the Persona series, so their motivation for the project was very high, he said.

The Persona team didn't want to just have the BlazBlue team develop the game for them. Instead, they wanted the game to be a joint development project. According to Mori, game's director Takumi Iguchiya (whom you'll recognize as the lead programmer on the BlazBlue series) is working closely with the Persona team.

In addition to the commentary Mori, we have a list of modes that appears in Famitsu:

Arcade Mode: Face off against CPU opponents while following the story
Story Mode: Delve deeper into the arcade mode's story. This will be exclusive to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Score Attack Mode: Face off against CPU opponents to get the high score
VS Mode: Face off against a CPU or human opponent
Online Battle: Face off against players throughout the world in online combat (I imagine that can be taken as confirmation of an international release...)

The game will include original stories for all its included characters, which come from both Persona 4 and Persona 3. The overarching story is set two yeas after the events of Persona 4. The characters appear on a fighting program called "P-1 Grand Prix."

The Ultimate in Mayonaka will be released first to arcades in Spring 2012. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will follow in the summer.

A persona based fighting game? now this is a feast

Agnes was telling me about this an hour ago. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I love it

I'm intrigued by this fighting game announcement. Can't wait for more info :D

I'm actually really curious to how they'll implement personas in the fighting game. And I hope the story mode will be as deep as the Blazblue story.

What, why not? I'm enjoying my second playthrough of Persona 3 much more in P3P since I can play as FeMC now. It makes the game feel fresh again.
Ivalset
Because then they'd have to do a thousand more voiceovers changing "big bro" to "big sis".
Remco32
That didn't seem a problem with P3P?
rust45
Yeah, and they also have a new character.
awp
They have more anime cutscenes too!

But really, apart from the opening that plays before the title screen, the animation in those games is fucking horrible

ditto the one I saw in Catherine. I appreciate the thought, Atlus, but your in-game rendering is a thousand times more expressive than that 2fps bullshit

This...this hype...

I can't control it.

Mitsuru Kirijo and Akihiko Sanada for p4u. Best game or best game?!

Sinistro
Oh my god.
Best character migration in living memory.
I sense Death Fanservice.
Mitsuru seems to quite literally have a lightsaber (lightepee?)
Akihiko's wearing a cape? Boo.
