Greatest bossbattle thusfar.
Yeah, me too. I only used a full HP/SP once IIRC. These are all the SP healing items I have:rust45 wrote:
I always save full restoration items for the final battle(s) Unless I get plenty (Like SJ when it came to beads), but still only for bosses. And then I try to keep some if the New Game+ carries on items.
If you're running out of SP, you could be under-leveled. Try just grinding for a while, maybe make some better persona O:Remco32 wrote:
I'm at what I think that is the final boss. I have one major issue with the fight: I run out of SP, and I don't have any effective SP restore items. Any tips?
Yeah, I just read the outcome of the True Ending.Loginer wrote:
That's not the final boss.
Oh, I thought it was a newgame+ thing. I might play it if I still have a save before that point.Ivalset wrote:
You don't need to play through the whole game again to get the true ending...?
All you have to do is talk to all the people you maxed out and give the right answers.
Yeah, it seems that you must tackle all the subbosses in the dungeon without going out of the TV to regain all your HP/SP. Anyone has tips, I'm already having trouble during the first subboss.WhoAteFred wrote:
I don't think you can have a save after the point for True End. All the requirements are on the last day IIRC.
Ivalset wrote:
I don't even remember what those subbosses are. What's getting you killed?
So grinding doesn't really sound like an option.Mogsworth wrote:
Just grind like a motherfucker.
Nonsense, grind through low-level dungeons for SP recovery items.I'm already 'stuck' in the final dungeon.
Use SP Arcana Chances if needed (Death and Fortune IIRC).Wat. The chance of getting the right arcana chance at the right time is way to small to rely on.
Fuse something with Cool Breeze/Victory Cry/Invigorate 3. Level up Rise for Invigorating Wave.A possibility, yes.
Or just pay the fox.I'll be broke before I'm at the final boss.
Needed -And don't use save states next time you play a game. Relying on them too much in an RPG means you'll always be underleveled, which means you have to keep abusing them to progress. Eventually, you'll always end up in the situation you're in right now. Same thing applies to action games: Your skills will never improve if you keep using save states, so as the game gets more and more difficult, you'll end up using more and more save states to compensate.
Persona that Nulls/Repels physical
Null Rage (VERY IMPORTANT)
Weapon with low crit rate and enough attack power to 2-shot babies (no bats/reaper weapon)
Optional -
Stat-boosting armor/EXP raising armor.
Strategy:
1. Encounter Pringle King x2 (harder than it sounds)
2. Kill off party.
3. Wait for babies to be summoned.
4. Target 1 baby with regular attack
5. Hit triangle
6. Do whatever for8 hours20-25 minutes.
7. Revive team
8. Kill kings.
Doing the same here, working on Daisoujou at the moment.Remco32 wrote:
I'm currently playing Nocturne. I just beat Matador.
Depends entirely on what mode you're on. On Normal, I beat Matador rather low (I think 14?). Think I managed to do that around 16 on the hardest difficulty.LadySuburu wrote:
I had to grind three levels and "evolve" two demons to beat matador. Apperently level 18 isn't enough without using cheap tactics.
I was down to two demons including myself when I dealt the finishing blow.LadySuburu wrote:

Persona Team Intimately Involved in Persona 4 Fighting Game Development
Latest details on this week's unexpected Persona announcement.
Posted on 08.31.2011 at 12:17, by Anoop Gantayat
The big shocker from this week's Famitsu is Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka, an HD fighting game based of Persona 4. A few additional details have surfaced since word of the game first broke earlier in the day.
As detailed earlier (see this story), The Ultimate in Mayonaka is being developed by the BlazBlue staff at Arc System Works. But the Persona team appears to be intimately involved.
Speaking with Famitsu, the game's producer, Arc's Toshimichi Mori, said that he was shocked when Atlus came to them with the offer to work on the title. The BlazBlue team includes many fans of the Persona series, so their motivation for the project was very high, he said.
The Persona team didn't want to just have the BlazBlue team develop the game for them. Instead, they wanted the game to be a joint development project. According to Mori, game's director Takumi Iguchiya (whom you'll recognize as the lead programmer on the BlazBlue series) is working closely with the Persona team.
In addition to the commentary Mori, we have a list of modes that appears in Famitsu:
Arcade Mode: Face off against CPU opponents while following the story
Story Mode: Delve deeper into the arcade mode's story. This will be exclusive to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Score Attack Mode: Face off against CPU opponents to get the high score
VS Mode: Face off against a CPU or human opponent
Online Battle: Face off against players throughout the world in online combat (I imagine that can be taken as confirmation of an international release...)
The game will include original stories for all its included characters, which come from both Persona 4 and Persona 3. The overarching story is set two yeas after the events of Persona 4. The characters appear on a fighting program called "P-1 Grand Prix."
The Ultimate in Mayonaka will be released first to arcades in Spring 2012. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will follow in the summer.
What, why not? I'm enjoying my second playthrough of Persona 3 much more in P3P since I can play as FeMC now. It makes the game feel fresh again.Ivalset wrote:
I'm actually more excited about the fighting game than P4V.
I'd be more excited about P4V if there was a female MC, but I guess they can't use that gimmick again.
HOLY HOT DAMN.Ivalset wrote:

Mitsuru Kirijo and Akihiko Sanada for p4u. Best game or best game?!
MitsuruExecutesYukiko.pngThis game is getting better by the hour.
Yeah... ): I think I read somewhere that the designs aren't finalized, so hopefully he'll look better when they're released...Sinistro wrote:
Unfortunately for you, Derek, Kanji looks the worst out of them all. Seriously, that's close to not even looking like him.
