Everyones talking about bn hypocrisy but I do wanna point out some player hypocrisy here. when my time got ranked yall all went "this shouldn't be ranked this is aim slop wtf" but when bang bang (which is equally aim slop and has many of the same over mapping issues my time has) gets vetoed yall complain that the map is fine and its only getting vetoed because its aim. For the record, this veto was bad, it was terribly executed. Im not saying top diff is good but the veto was poorly thought out. Im just saying that yall love to ignore anything and everything except whatever fits into your agenda and perception of bns and the mapping system.
ok i agree that there are more flow aim maps getting ranked than aim maps but what ur saying is just blatantly not true. There are significantly more aim maps being ranked than i feel like people think there are. if you cant hit 5 digit with the aim maps currently ranked that is 130% on you. As for the sotarks thing just dont play sotarks maps lmao i agree most sotarks maps are uncomfortable that's why i just play other maps its that simple
ok. at first i was like "oh its an m1 ping that's a cool hitsound and it fits the song too" and then i kept playing and i was more like "oh this is obnoxious and overused". I feel like its used too much in the middle of the kiais, i think its much more fitting to only put the reload hitsound on the last note before each of the breaks (represents a "reload" and also doesn't get in the way of gameplay). I also think the firework hitsound should be on the final note of the map again so the gameplay is better and also it just fits more at the very end, makes it feel like a celebration

actually i think the community complaining about maps they don't like is good in theory because if everyone just stayed in their own lane then anything 2 bns like could get ranked and that's not ideal. Notice i said in theory because it doesn't always work. the common factor about everyone i can see complaining about this map here is that they are all not very good at the game. Ive never been a fan of the "if you don't like it don't play it" mentality, but, in my opinion, if you arent good enough to play the map AND you don't have the mapping expertise to give genuine construction criticism, you shouldn't complain about it. if you do have the mapping knowledge or are good enough to competently play the map (and difficulty) you are complaining about then i believe your opinion is valid. thank you for coming to my ted talk
i get why someone would dislike hawatari, its very experimental. but scubdominos xeroa is literally 3x better than ryuusei aikas xeroa so if ur gonna complain about 1 of them being ranked it should be ryuuseis

I do get why some people dislike this map, but to say its worse than something like uncanny long arms is a really big stretch. I get if you don't like the gimmick, but the map is really fun to play and is actually playable despite what everyone here seems to think. I can think of a couple maps off the top of my head that have the same cons without any of the pros
1:23 jumps are definitely overmapped lol but the entire reason i wanted to map this song is because of the 200bpm part and because i envisioned those jumps right before the kiai, i don't think the sv is a big issue all the sv issues u pointed out looked good to me i was being careful not to put the sv too high because high sv just doesn't match that part of the song
well yeah i put effort into liar liar man and i did a lot of changes to my mapping style in the last month or so, also idk what bursts are bad in tears don't fall, all the 8 notes are good and the longer streams in the middle of kiais are great and have good emphasis, the 1 burst part is a little iffy, i was trying to take inspiration from the burst part in to the terminus
tears down 00:23:731 (1,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - heavily undermapped vocals 01:23:348 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3) - compare it to this just lol 01:09:460 (4,5) - with that sv it looks rly bad 00:58:163 (1,2,3,4) - this as well 00:49:284 (5,6,7,1,2,3,1) - didnt show sound drop
