00:09:816 (4) - I recommend this rhythm because 00:10:222 - is very prominent for it to only have a sliderend https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/19530220/62cc
00:33:976 (1,2,3,4) - This linear flow feels a bit out of place in this section so maybe consider this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/19530225/3915
01:07:118 (5) - this curve feels really overdone for nothing really going on in the song. at least put a kick or whistle on it or something to give it more feeling if you don't want to change it
nah its not overdone, the vocal literally spiked there wym
uncanny movement on this stream as a whole really emphasize the vocal and serve as intensity shift to the kiai as it gives some strains onto players, forcing them into preparing abit for the chorus
fwiw this is ducky's decision and it fits much better than a normal curve so i kept it
the original ducky part was similar to urs actually
but then i took initiative and flip it to be like this to force passive movement on 01:22:510 (1,2) so that the later jumps can fully emphasize the vocal
keeping the same intensity there is really a bad move cuz of sayuri's strong vocal
01:29:421 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Should swap spacing on this stream so the lower intensity drums in the 2nd combo are the lower spaced ones likes you do at 01:39:474 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - and also prob make the NCs consistent too
the implication is completely opposite
cuz the chorus is mapped using very large spacings, the only method of emphasis without making it play like dogshit with unnecessary linear jumps is small spacing and sharp movement, thats y i started the 01:29:421 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - stream with the 01:29:107 (2) - hold slider
plus, its the transition phase
the latter one is the complete opposite as its in the middle of the section, theres no point changing the intensity there, hence the spacing
02:57:397 (1,2) - 03:00:254 (1,2) - 03:12:635 (1,2) - Should Ctrl+G rhythms here, everything around these focus heavily on the vocals more so than the drums so these instances prioritzing this drum over the vocals comes off as kinda inconsistent and the Ctrl+G still keeps it active as well so still works both ways and can still emphasize these drums with a bit of extra spacing on the circles if you like.
03:06:087 (1,2,3) - Strongly recommend ctrl+g on this triple, the frequent sharp direction changes going from 03:05:968 (1,1) - into 03:06:325 (3,1) - in very quick succession feels very overkill movement wise.
Something not as sharp like https://i.imgur.com/dM1TvVW.png would work too
maybe make 03:54:243 (5) - active because i think there's more apparent sounds on the slider end than 03:54:155 (4) -
05:10:784 (4) - The focus on the vocal feels pretty forced here and the crashes/cymbals on the red ticks stand out way more so feels a bit underwhelming with current rhythm, and the vocal this is being mapped to is actually on 1/6 here so it's not really worth going out of your way to map that when there's no 1/3 rhythms in this entire part. Should have something like this here: https://i.imgur.com/K2Nh84j.png
3/4 vs 1/2 slider is up to preference though, I think it works better for the held vocal but either or works
05:12:951 (3,4) - Maybe a bit lame but I'd ctrlg this or turn the slider into 2 circles since the higher vocal on 05:13:118 - sounds more prominent than the one on 05:12:951 - even though the white tick vocal doesn't have a syllable on it.
05:13:784 (1) - Going for the held vocal is fine but this should at least be a 1/2 repeat instead so it captures the start of the drum chain in this build up.
05:13:784 (1) - Just letting this as 1/1 would give emphasis on 05:14:284 - 05:14:784 - i think
05:46:784 (3) - why is this stacked when the intensity builds up more than the other jumps. feels underwhelming for such an intense part
06:48:470 (6,1) - could ctrl + g each for better flow and some extra spacing on 06:48:641 (1), which i think it deserves considering how intense the song is there
06:48:813 (2) - Consider converting this to two circles to make the drumroll more separate from the vocals on 06:48:470 (6,1) -
06:56:013 (2,4) - i dont think you use any other overlap in this map, this isnt really a problem but its not too consistent so im not sure if its worth changing cause it feels a bit out of place
07:03:041 (5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,1) - mapping it as something similiar to 06:43:841 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) would reflect the intensity way better
07:13:670 (2) - how about making it a 1/4 slider + 2 circles or two 1/4 sliders?
cuz there's a vocal at 07:13:841 and also i feel like its slightly different from 07:11:956 (1,2) - where the vocal is being dragged throughout but over at 07:13:670 (2) - there's the drag + a new vocal at 07:13:841
If I do that then it doesn't really feed well into 07:14:013 (3,4) - 2 Kicksliders here for vocals would imply (3,4) should be a repeat to match since 4 kicksliders here doesn't really mesh very well with vocals and that's pretty underwhelming going into the burst. Vocals aren't really the focus here and just sticking to the drums on this one, hence why there's no kickslider on 07:13:155 (9) - either
Prefer the lower spacing given the stream is already increasing from 07:14:270 (7,1) - so going back down sharply in spacing has more impact than just another small spacing increase would imo
07:20:729 (2) - 2 circles on this would be cool to distinguish it from 07:20:184 (1) - since the vocal is different
