00:39:373 (39373|2,39486|3,39599|2) - right now, the gap between SC and MX are quite similar.
since you buffed SHD (like a lot as i suggested), better add some notes so the difficulty progression between MX - SC - SHD become smoother
00:44:402 - Recommend not adding 1/3 jacks in this little part with the LNs or add a 1/3 jack every time. I understand why you didn't add jacks here and there but places like 00:45:645 and 00:47:001 can have jacks too. It'd play a lot better and feel more repetitive (in a good way because the music itself is repetitive)
Note: This refers to the ending part beginning at 02:54:572 too.
00:44:458 (44458|2,44458|3,44571|3) - you could at least like, have the jack not be on the same hand as the LN
00:44:458 (44458|2,44458|3,44571|3) - huge spread issue comparing to the diff below
try removing all doubles in this section except for these 00:50:221 (50221|1,50221|0,50306|2,50306|3,50390|0,50390|1) - aka three doubles in a row to at least fit spread reasonably
(Before you say that this makes it too repetitive, take a look at Sore wa Mahiru no Suisei's top difficulty by LeiN- at https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/878429#mania/1837187 which uses repetition really well. You can use repeating patterns to your advantage. Variety for the sake of variation doesn't work in incredibly repetitive songs.)
00:57:114 - The way you use minijacks in a few sections is a little offputting. For example, you used a minijack at 00:55:758. This leads me, the player, to think that there should be a minijack at 00:57:114, making it feel unsatisfying to the player as there isn't. To fix this issue, you should move the note at 00:57:114 to the first column.
01:00:673 - I'm not a fan of how this section is mapped. Its wierd that you only map the snare every other beat. I think it would be better if you just got rid of the snare mapping entirely or maped it everytime. I dont think the patterning here works well in general. I can see the 32132131 patterns you tried to put in to match the music, but with the way the jumps are, unless you want to add in jacks it doesn't work out all that well and instead the section patterns as mostly a 23 trill for awkwardly long sections with awkward [13][24] jumps every now and then. 00:50:843 (50843|2,50928|1,51012|2,51097|1,51182|2,51266|1) 00:52:199 (52199|2,52283|1,52368|2,52453|1,52538|2,52622|1,52707|2,52877|1,52961|2,53046|1,53131|2,53216|1,53300|2)
I feel like this section might work better if you maybe use holds to accent the main melody. I would also like to see the snares either steped as single notes, or as jumps, one of the two. It also might be worth ignoring PR completely and just focus more on the layering. you could also get rid of the jumps on kicks and instead use a minijack.
Difficulty gap between MX, SC diff is quite huge at some point.
For example, about MX diff, from 01:06:153 - to 01:08:526 - has completely same note density with HD diff. However, there is a huge difference in difficulty between MX and SC at this timing.
To solve this issue, I suggest you reconstruct this timing with 1/6 stairs but without double like this : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/14419552/3e7c
disagree with the solution
but I'll post something regarding this on the SC diff since the change is something required on the SC diff and not the MX diff
01:11:577 - ok so this section in general is sloppy
just do a 1/2 2 note stack any time there's a kick and then do a double when it comes to the snares because you're limiting yourself to use 3 columns and that doesn't always end up well
this would also apply to the HD diff since then it would make this diff easier than it
[14] double would be the way to go tbh
don't worry about the 3 note stack on col 4 if you do because you did it at 01:15:475 (75475|2,75645|2,75814|2) - and such
01:44:063 - For this part, why do you keep cutting off the 2-1-2-1 pattern? (e.g. 01:45:589, 01:48:300, 01:48:639, 01:48:978, 01:49:317) I didn't question it in HD since it felt fitting for a lower difficulty, but since this is MX I see no reason to cut it off since the sound is still obviously there. I recommend not cutting the pattern off - it improves flow and just makes more sense from both a player and mapper perspective.
01:49:543 (109543|3) - remove this LN
that last note is negligible because other instruments are more prominent
01:57:029 (117029|0,117072|1,117368|3,117411|2) - i feel like these notes should be moved so these patterns turn into rolls. It doesn't really change the difficulty and it will make it easier to read, and better communicate these as 2 separate groups of notes, and the difference in pitch between them. It will also better indicate the sound/notes that happen here 02:07:792 - since its now the same pattern mapped to the same notes.
02:09:945 (129945|0,130623|0) - move to col 2. They are not worth using jacks.
02:09:967 (129967|1,130051|2,130051|3,130136|0,130221|3,130221|2,130306|3,130306|2,130390|0,130390|1,130475|2) - i think you can ctrl+h this (flip the pattern horizontally)
no need to have 02:15:645 (135645|2,135645|3,135729|2,135729|3) - same double jack at the right hand for hand balance
02:25:475 (145475|3,145475|0,145560|1,145560|2,145645|3,145645|0) - and 02:25:814 (145814|3,145814|0,145899|2,145899|1,145984|3,145984|0) - should be the only doubles in this section
you're not differentiating the different sounds and instead generalizing it into an awkward splittrill
these sounds are grouped in 3
From 02:28:639 (148639|3) - to 02:28:639 (148639|3) - it's very shame that you didn't expressed any chip-tune or the repeating sound that goes up and down and just filled up with simple 1/4 stream.
Rather than SC, which uses a pattern of 1/6 staircases pattern over a long period of time, I recommend a pattern that is slightly downward and finely mixed with 1/6 and 1/4 to the background sound like this :
(1/4 ver. : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/14419582/aac4 )
(1/6 ver : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/14419596/75ca )
I changed 1/6 to 1/4 when I heard a distinctly loud sound like 02:28:017 and 02:27:509 and 02:28:187 - to make it different with SC diff but also easy.
its honestly hard to balance adding in the background arpeggio with everything else, because for one, it's on 1/8th. the only parts that should be 1/6th are when the melody has that wavy sound to it. i had the hands represent the chip tune sounds, but maybe making them lns could work?
I know you want to map these as triples because the melody and the kicks overlap at this point 02:44:797, however I believe this becomes way too convoluted both from a mapping and player perspective since you don't really layer this heavily up until this point and the consecutive triples play exactly the same as each other, puts too much relative strain, and doesn't really following anything musically relevant. Would prefer these as doubles honestly except on the start of every measure where a triple is fine to have.
Difficulty gap with SC is quite huge from 03:49:204 - to 03:51:407 - is quite huge either I think. Just like I said before on here : #1372974
This has same note density with HD diff and much more easier than SC diff either which can cause gap issue.
To solve this issue, I suggest you reconstruct this timing with 1/6 stairs but without any double like this : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/14419618/63c6 (To make it feel better, I put 1/3 mini jack in the repeating beat )
