the snapping is fine; the hitsounding may be because the sliderheads are normal-hitnormal, while the sliderends are soft-hitnormal. with default hitsounds, this means the sliderheads are louder and more notable, but if your skin uses very loud soft-hitnormals, then that might cause the sliderends to appear more emphasized than normal

Fair enough, but this could cause a lot of players issues accuracy-wise, so maybe custom hitsounding could be a good alternative to this problem?

i wanted to lower the volume for every sliderend, but that entailed putting so many green lines that i gave up pretty soon. maybe the new lazer editor will make hitsounding less of a pain. although recently ive heard of a way to copypaste green lines...
