9-19: I've remapped about half of the Hard diff and half of the Faster diff with massive improvements since many parts were just garbage due to low SV, so unfortunately some of the previous mods have become irrelevant. You guys will certainly receive credit nonetheless! Also, this also means I need new mods for those diffs, so any are greatly appreciated!
it's not decimal BPM, it's most likely variable bpm where it changes and breaks the bpm, like making a snare drum sound that doesn't snap in the timing, adding red points are necessary for accurate timing, decimal bpm is really iffy especially in electronic music where bpm can be exact
While it is true that normally EDM has whole BPMs, it's not impossible for it to be a decimal value. Also, the current BPM works PERFECTLY TOO, lands on all beats. And if it wasn't, the .325 indicates there are at least 13 bpm resets in the song. Idk, I'm about to straight up email the artist lmao
General tips for mapping: try to look a few seconds behind and in front of where you're mapping to think about where to place circles and sliders, eg: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/11819600 (I wrapped my stream around a circle that was placed a few seconds before). Try to blanket sliders when you see an opportunity to https://imgur.com/a/bQPPUCv (don't go overboard and try to blanket everything). Don't try to rank maps for now, keep making new maps and remapping like you are doing now. Mod other players' maps and learn from then. And when you are playing casually, try to look at the map you are playing and see how it's mapped.
Yeah, I guess, but it's nice getting one's mapped modded bc you see in what areas you're messing up. By the time I've typed this comment I've mapped 4 different songs and 11 unique diffs, I certainly noticed how much better I've become. A ton of the feedback has been super helpful, more than any video could. It's like being at a uni lecture and hearing the prof and jotting down notes the entire time, but when the exam comes up it's a completely new scenario (so you fail xd). I'll revisit this map at a later date i guess with more experience.
Use NCs every downbeat because even NCs should represent the map well. Putting NCs on downbeats would put emphasis on those notes because they are the most important sounds(unless music intentionally ignores downbeats, where your song doesn't)
All diffs have unsnapped timing lines (green lines in the timeline) guessing you changed the offset and forgot to snap all of them
just found this and played the hardest diff. Feels great to play, especially the jumps at the end. Also the hitsounds fit really well and make this hundred times better :3
