OD should be anywhere between 8.4-9 as Techno's is 8.7

from 00:13:360 - to 00:19:890 - the section generally feels empty and indifferent to the song. you seem to be following the least known layer without compensating for the other layers of sound that can apply, such as the vocals or the guitar. this is also different from the section at 00:26:421 - , since the section is more so used as a buildup to the next section with an extra beat that you follow. i can imagine having sliders be the bond of this section, since it seems that the lack of overall objects may be the main issue.

i think the section at 00:26:041 is fine.

for the section at 00:13:360, I place the sliders and circles based on vocal cues. for example, i ignored a drum at 00:19:482.

00:13:360 changes this part of be more active

00:26:421 for this diff specifically i think it could've been cool to follow vocals here to make this section more engaging n contrast super well w/ the chorus. not really worth changing so leaving this as praise

permalink

i understand, but vocals have a weird rhythm here so i will keep it as is.

00:55:605 - 00:58:870 - Wouldn't it be good to map these gaps on the kiai too? For a top diff i think it could be justifiable.

Actually, approach rate should be between 7 and 9.3 for insane diffs, not 9.4

00:41:421 Ignored vocal

and also other places, but I think you get the gist of it

permalink

vocal rhythm is unstable so i purposefully ignored to rather express the beat, which does have stable rhythm

there is no vocal at 00:42:645 btw (no change to all)

Kinda weird to do that when the vocals are the loudest thing in the song.

And I do really think there's a vocal at more or less at 00:42:660, so the blue tick 00:42:645 is closer to the vocal than the white tick 00:42:747, but as you said, since you ignored the vocal rhythm to prioritize the beat instead, I'll let it slide.

00:31:319 (1,2) - Why the overlap here?
I'd suggest either stacking or spacing them further appart

Since there's no sound in 00:39:788 - I suggest you mute the slider end (set volume to 5%)

00:39:890 (2) - Why not just a circle?

permalink

changed for now, i was using it to represent the breath which is probably not necessary.

Since there's a vocal at 00:40:452 - you could swap 00:40:298 (1) - for a repeating slider with half the length.

permalink

ignoring vocals to represent the cymbal crash which is much more important (no change)

00:41:829 vocal is very noticeable here and yet you mapped as a slider tail

no change

In general, this diff has very nice aesthetics and flows very well, however you need to work on the rhythm
