there was some discussion about the artist field in BN server in case u weren't aware
HOYO-MiX feat. Robin (VO: Chevy)
shouldn't the artist field use CV instead of VO? based on https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/en/Ranking_criteria#fn-character-voice-actor as Chevy is the voice actress behind Robin
as the person who did proposal for adding the VO clause, its made for case like this where the singer is different from the person who did the normal voice in the game
the issue with using CV is it cause confusion to people thinking that Chevy did the voice in game (outside the song)

Is vgm video game music
necessary? I usually only save those tags for if the song was from a rhythm game or has strong elements of your typical vsrg songs (e.g. https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/743090#mania/4402594 which wasn't included in any rhythm game but sounds like it's from sound voltex). I'd delete it as it's otherwise misleading. Sure, this song is from a video game, but it's part of the OST rather than being made to smash keys to lol.
Might also consider adding swing
, extended play
(abbreviation of EP) to tags as that's the rhythmic style. You can also add the names of composers, arrangers, etc.

(part of Penacony Golden Hour
)I feel it's unnecessary to add the recording studios though, especially if you don't add the other studios (there's multiple). Remove

i dont think the video game
genre is specifically made for VSRG only... that is not intuitive, u cant assume all osu player even knows whats VSRG
theres nothing wrong with having that tag
Video Game
Made for or made popular by a video game. This is also used for arrangements and remixes of those songs.

pls dont spread bad information
The normal diff name is so clunky, does it really need a custom name or can you not just use a simple Ferdi's Normal
? It's really hard to use any of the song lyrics to try and fit a diff name in there cause Normal
makes everything sound lame lmao
What about doing custom diff names for both but just adding the difficulty after with a separator? E.g.
Ferdi's Renewed Definition | Normal
Welcome to My World | Hard
I think that way it doesn't sound awkward but still accurately displays the intended difficulty.
This suggestion by itself, I agree, I wouldn't reopen, but with all my other suggestions, I figured it's worth reopening to discuss some more ideas about the diff names so they don't sound so awkward to say.
I also think it's good for a simple map like this to be clear about the intended difficulty of each diff rather than make the player guess.
Pretty minor but I do think offset could benefit from +4ms to all timing points (476 -> 480) to closer align with the peak of the percussion.
Double check your vocal snappings. It seems that most of the vocal actually lands on the 1/4 ticks while percussion primarily lands on the 1/6 to create a swing beat. I've pointed out a handful in Ferdi's diff already, but it's worth reviewing again in both diffs to ensure accuracy. Also, suggestions in one kiai will translate over 1:1 in the other kiais if it's concerning snapping.
just a suggestion but you could add "vgm video game music" to tags. You have "video games" plural for some reason. Could also add "hoyomix" for accessibility without the dash
