Is there a reason why the OD is generally low for these maps? I don’t think it’s a major issue, but since the proportion of LNs is high yet not particularly difficult, I’m asking
HP/OD , rice/LN
Normal 7 / 6 761 / 412
Hard 7.5 / 6.5 1346 / 396
Insane 8 / 7 925 / 1070
expert 8.4 / 7.6 920 / 1279
i thought it was particularly difficult actually
if it would be better to crank up a bit, tell me please
You need 1 more diff. (Normal | Hard | Insane)
This map has a drain time of 2:23
According to the Ranking Criteria in Drain Time, if the drain time of any difficulty is lower than 2:30, each key mode and playstyle must either include a difficulty at Normal or lower, or provide a proper spread containing at least 4 difficulties
Difficulty Naming
According to the Difficulty Naming article, "The purpose of difficulty naming is to inform players how difficult a map is. However, as long as the set of difficulty names is descriptive and clearly indicates progression of difficulty, you may use any desired kind of scheme." I do not think the current progressing meanings of difficulty naming scheme here were legit enough from the general point of view.
Either you attach the general difficulty name next to each difficulty name except the top difficulty, or you have to apply a different diff-naming scheme.
example:
can you save me now? | Hard
i get lost up in the clouds | Insane
