New metadata rules call for updated standardization of the title
(Game Ver.) Used to mark game versions of songs. Examples to replace include: ~Game Size~, (Game Size), game OP edit, OP Version for tracks used in games.
Cant view the unicode title right now (if there is one) but romanised should be Full Moon Full Life (Game Ver.)
A full version exists i listen to it on spotify every day. Since a full version exists, game version is required (also, tildes (similar to hyphens) and op version are listed as examples to standardize and this has both)
I can see the consistency argument though
As said above only this version is played in the game whereas the full version doesn't so there's no need for a change
"Do not add these markers if a track is the only known version of a song."
This is not the only known version of the song. It does not say "Do not add these markers if a track is the only version in the game."
Im just posting here for reference to anyone who happens to see the thread but i do think (Game Ver.) is the play here. @the consistency argument: sadly all the ranked maps were ranked before the new RC was merged (August 22nd) (i checked)
There isnt any addition with markers, the rule essentially changes -Opening Movie version-
to (Game Ver.)
per standardization. Having a loonger version doesnt really matter. It would matter if there wasnt a marker. For example if there wasnt a longer version of this song, and this version had no marker, u are not allowed to add game ver.
Game ver is one of those Markers that should be always standardized but not always added
If there are similar markers in a song's title, replace them with the relevant marker from the list below.
There is indeed a similar marker that denotes game ver(Game Ver.) Used to mark game versions of songs. Examples to replace include: ~Game Size~, (Game Size), game OP edit, OP Version for tracks used in games.
OP version is also given as an exampleWith new rules come ambiguous stuff everytime, and i understand that this is pretty much a technicality, but as per the new RC i do think changing this is the move. I did talk with the mapper before posting this and we discussed it im just posting here incase someone else wants to offer any input or at least, get some context as to why this has changed to game ver
its a length marker denoting the version used for the game its no different than an opening of a visual novel that gets the game ver, the differentation that is marked on the album stems from the fact that this is the game version, the standardization applies, nothing is added or removed the marker just changes to a new one as per the new meta rc, other circumstances dont really factor here, this is a pretty straightforward standardization imo
Missing hitsounds in all diffs:
00:02:445 - clap
00:03:689 - clap
00:04:932 - clap
00:06:176 - etc... please check hitsounding, no reason to not have the claps here, because they're the same sound as the ones who do, basically clap every 2/1 beat
00:16:124 - clap too
00:17:367 - XD
00:18:611 - XDD
00:19:854 - XDDD etc..
00:48:766 - finish
00:50:010 - finish
01:08:507 - finish
01:09:751 - finish
01:11:150 - finish
01:21:098 - finish
01:28:559 - finish
01:29:803 - finish
probably missed some, saw enough to give a general post so just check whole hitsounding
All those instances you mentioned were purposely non-hitsounded as in the first part of the map i'm focus solely on the kicks (00:07:575 (2) - this one for example) and these claps (00:04:310 (2) - ) so no reason to overload it with more different claps. The second part is more straightforward so no explanation needed
About the finish I think they are ok, they are focused on start-end of sections and I don't feel they need to be added in those timestamps you mention
i was asked to look and agree with bastian regardin the snares, my first play i noticed inconsistent drum feedback which is what u want (its strange to only hs one part of drums when it makes up a songs structure ngl)
01:11:150 - should at least be added, i think its alright to not go finish too frequent if u have backin hs
01:08:507 - vs 01:09:751 - => these are the same drum (kicks), yet one is mapped as kick and other as snare (normal-hitnormal while the other is a soft-hitclap)
yeah there's a sound in the bluetick that's the one who fades out but tried ending my diffs there and sounds really weird and off tbh so to keep it simplified i think ending the map in the red line it's the better option
ur background image file is too big so i reduced the file size of it u can use this https://rinkiha.s-ul.eu/Xt8pF0oV
can add a spinner in the same spot aku's rain did on all diffs without a spinner to make some room for score variety
