at 02:22:819 -> 02:44:076 - Pretty much the same issue as the oni, you have so much 1/1 and 3/4 gaps that the patterns around them lacks a ton of contrast, you should consider buffing this part with a little bit of improvisation so it would really make it harder than the 1st kiai and heavily improve the emphasis given in those 1/1 & 3/4 gaps:
• 02:23:591 - map it with d so you kind of have a nice kd dk pattern
• 02:24:362 - dd(kkkd)dk is nice to play
• 02:25:048 - dkk, has kind of the same vibes as 02:23:505 - but without the 1/1 gap
• 02:27:105 - ddk to emphasize 02:27:276 -
• 02:27:448 - remove finishers on 02:27:448 (305,306) - and make it d kk dkkd K so the note density remains intact
• 02:29:076 - map it like the 1st point
• 02:29:848 - same as 2nd point
• 02:30:533 - same as 3rd point
This also applies in the second part of this kiai by filling most of the 1/1 and 3/4 gaps
My idea with most of the gaps was to put a lot of emphasis on the finisher synths.
• 02:23:591 - I really like this.
• 02:25:048 - I actually like your first suggestion here too. I still want to emphasize the kicks.
• 02:27:448 - I did d kd dkkd K
instead.
• 02:29:076 - (same as 02:23:591)
• 02:30:533 - (same as 02:25:048)
• 02:24:362 - 02:27:105 - 02:29:848 - I'm not really opposed to these suggestions. They go against almost all of the gaps I had liked, but that's not necessarily a bad thing; my idea might just not be suitable for this difficulty.
Most of the 1/6 has quite drastic sv usage, which makes them most of them very hard to distinguish from actual 1/4 patterns, example 00:32:762 -, 01:39:619 - , 01:45:105 -, 02:11:505 - etc... vs. 01:49:219 -, 02:00:191 - to cite a few of them. Consider nerfing the sv in those instances, especially in the non-kiai parts because they really don't fit with the actual intensity of those parts.
Ulqui: this is just my own preference but for inner oni 00:32:762 (94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102) - is too hard to DT, a lot of players aim for dt in this kind of low sr inner oni diff and long 1/8 makes it nearly impossible
mappers often resort to simplification using 1/6 for this kind of synth arp
fowwo: 02:30:019 (320,321,322,323,324,325,326) - are these fine?
Ulqui: it could also apply to the 5plets, though personally I can hit them with dt
it would make sense to change those too if you are gonna change the 9plets into a simplified 1/6 version
