I think overall, this song is pretty nice! Your rhythm is not that bad, however, I think you struggle a bit with consistency mapping vocals or drums (or whatever background sound). I suggest choosing one and stay focused on mapping either or unless its inevitable. I think your slider velocity is going the right track, you seem to realize when the song slows down and goes faster. That's very good! However, sometimes the jumps are in the wrong spot but that's okay! Try to really listen to the song and mostly listen to the background (drums) that's where the triples and streams come in play. Slowing down the song can help you figure out where and when you should input triples and streams. Consistency also includes being able to repeat the same patterns and same slider shapes (I notice the some of the same patterns don't get me wrong) however, through your whole map, I wanna be able to recognize the same slider shapes. Special sliders only during special sounds. Other that that, you are on the right track. Keep practicing and I'm sure you will become an amazing mapper in no time! Good luck mapper!
Putting this here because it's too chonky for the timeline.
00:25:111 (5,1,2,3,4) - this no warning for this slowdown. The spacing in 00:24:437 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6) - are all practically the same for this point in the map. Yet, 00:25:111 (5,1,2,3,4,1) - is first 1/1, then 1/2, then 1/1, 1/1, and then back to 1/2, all with the same spacing as the fast sections around it ( 00:24:437 (1,2,3,4,5) - 00:27:134 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - ) I recommend spacing this pattern out a bit more. Something like this would work better https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/17687994/9bbf as it gives spacing to 00:25:111 (5,1) - to emphasize it, also because of that big spaced 1/1 space, it's making 00:26:123 (2,3,4) - easy to read while having the basically the same spacing between them as 00:25:785 (1,2) - it also adds emphasis on the vocal at 00:26:460 (3) - and also adds emphasis to 00:27:134 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - for the vocals increasing in intensity again.
Not a bad attempt for a new mapper, since the general flow during intense jump moments are put forth well. However, i do feel that the main issue with this map is the lack of organisation, with the same section having different mapping methods and styles (check timeline), showing lack of consistency. Also, you need to follow music more and listen to small details, especially during calmer parts where less is going on. Slider shapes are more on the basic side, however looking up different slider shapes and even some slider art would help. Keep mapping, and you'll get better and better!
I used all your advice as a reference. It turned into a more sophisticated beatmap. Thank you :)
