As much as this song is epic it seems way too quiet compared to other songs, especially since it's this crazy I don't think it's intentional. When I played it I had to turn my volume up but that also made the hitsounds way too loud. Could you please try and raise the volume for this song in audacity by around 5db?
i guess it's subjective, but the volume of the song felt fine to me when playing it
but i did try increasing the mp3 volume by 5db like you mentioned
i found that doing so starts to cause some clipping in the already-loud sections of the song like the kiai, worsening the audio quality
I suggest that you make the hs quieter then, as Nepuri said the HS really do overpower the music.
00:56:677 - feels completely fine to me since the snares are as loud as the hs; taiko is based around the drums so i don't really see why the surrounding sounds being quieter would be a issue. it also differentiates between the previous calm section with more emphasis so it works well, although i don't want to put words in other people's mouths ofc
I will not raise the volume for this song because this would make the quality worse! Current mp3 is as good as it gets. It's actually intentional for the music to sound like that, it's what gives the track its flavor.
If you find the hitsounds to be too loud with your skin you can always just turn down the effects volume. Most players prefer having audible hitsounds so I choose my volumes based on what sounds best to me with the default skin.
"A song's audio file and hitsound files must be of reasonable quality. Try to find the highest quality source file available rather than ripping a file from a streaming video website. Songs should be normalized to their original release volumes and should not be encoded to a bit rate higher than their original files."
The RC doesn't even allow you to make this change anyways.

This beatmap set was updated by the mapper after a nomination. Please ensure to re-check the beatmaps for new issues. If you are the mapper, please comment in this thread on what you changed.
in the first 260bpm section, futsuu and kantan are at a similar density, leaving a relatively sizeable gap between futsuu and muzu
could consider buffing futsuu a little here:
01:01:985 - http://put.nu/files/52Lw0JS.png
You can't really add more notes on the futsuu diff and follow the layer that the mapper choose to follow properly at the same time, adding more notes only makes the map drift away from the music. Anyways the kantan uses 1/1 mono triplets at most while the futsuu uses 3 and 5 note long multicolor 1/1 so the diffs might be somewhat close in density but certainly not in difficulty
in that bpm slowdown section 01:09:831 -, the muzu-oni gap seems kinda wide, going from 1/2 patterns in muzu to pretty heavy 1/4 usage in oni: http://put.nu/files/-XtqRub.png
could consider nerfing oni a bit to bridge that gap better
Move 01:51:152 (705) - to 01:51:191 as the latter timestamp has both a kick + synth note which is higher pitched than the note this is currently mapped to, where there is only a lower pitched synth note. Moving it gives the note more depth in relation to the music.
some things should be changed according to the metadata source i posted
romanized title: the current title uses "o" instead of "ou" to romanize おう, which should be fixed. also why no spaces between words?
with these two changes, how about: "Niji Bishou x1 Hadairo Senjou Senjou"
artist: The Lovers
(i don't know where "tarolabo" comes from; i couldn't find any evidence of that artist being involved with this song)
source: Toy Musical 2
some possible more tags: BMS, 2ジ, 2d
2d/2ジ is listed as song's genre (whatever that's supposed to mean) and is romanized to 2d in in the website url/in the game's internal files
