if you have some patience you could totally implement some colorhax here
making 00:00:661 - all green/brown for the woods, things like 00:25:661 - could have only red colors for the blood, same kinda thing in 01:10:661 - where the cutting bits could be red, 01:11:911 - could be grey for the whole quiet stuff, etc
all that kinda stuff could be pretty cool to add, albeit it is a bit of work but it seems thematically fitting given how much of the song you directly implemented. felt like it was worth throwing as a suggestion, tho i'll only tack it as a praise
cool!! would love to see more wordplay tho, like 00:08:141 (1) - literally sticking to x:0 (representing shia labeouf) and for some wordplay things I found in the top diff: 00:00:641 (1,2,1,2) - woodz | 00:52:203 (1) - is cool too, lost = ? | and like 01:11:891 (2,3,1,2) - giving lesser feedback because "quiet" lol | 01:36:578 (6) - i think this looks like a side of a kidney lol | 02:06:266 (5) - 01:21:266 (5) - looks similar probably representing ax? | 02:24:391 (4) - movement of slider downwards representing fall | 01:07:203 (1,1,1,1) - move stillfully (flowing towards 01:08:141 (1) - where 01:07:203 (1,1,1) - shapes lean towards 01:08:141 (1) - ). I might miss out on some ideas or might misinterpret some. there's no point in this post but hey this is nice!!
Yo, thanks! I tried to incorporate as much wordplay as I could when mapping it - but you also did over-interpret some of my choices haha. There are some other things in how I represent the different parts of the choir (circles structured as 2-2-1 with more spacing between each group when choir sings "Shia LaBeouf"), but that's more a gameplay concept rather than a visual representation. You also missed the bear trap at 01:10:172 (2)! Then there's stuff like 02:12:516 (5) - going leftwards and having the surrounding pattern on the left whereas 02:13:766 (5) - is going right instead.
Also, I didn't want to move the first "Shia LaBeouf" at 00:08:141 (1) further into the corner, just for spacing concerns. I think it's far enough away to represent "corner of your eye" already.
saw this on stream, looks interesting
that's why i said do you need a second in twitch chat lmao
