Hi there, I'm really liking this song, but I find the timing for both maps to be:

BPM: 165.000
Offset: 2,344

Please re-adjust this for both difficulties, then use 'Resnap All Notes'..then go through the whole song(s) and move your notes so that they fit the timeline and 'sound right'. Please PM me as soon as you have done this and I'll mod it fully cos it's a good song!

(also you should really use 'Distance Snap' a lot more..but you can always do that after the timing is sorted ^_^)

OK here's my list of suggestions, based on the timing which I suggested.
Firstly about the Distance Snap, if you go through the map using Auto and see where the cursor has to speed up a lot to hit the beats then this is where you really need to use Distance Snap. Also it would be nicer if you stacked more notes that are close together on the timeline and unstacked the ones which are further apart..cos your stacking is a little inconsistent.
To clarify, by 'tick' I mean the smallest division on the timeline, and since it is 1/6 timing, a red tick would be a '3rd tick' and the '5th tick' would be just before a white tick etc.

I have two suggestions:

1. Add an audio lead-in of at least 1 second. The beatmap starts almost right after playing.

2. Like Mimuki232 said, use Distance Snap more. Some notes are inconsistently spaced, causing players to be unable to predict the beats. Of course it isn't mandatory to use Distance Snap all the time, but it's better than not using it and making players frustrated

As far as I know the two maps were first created around almost exactly the same time, so how is this going to work? Two ranked maps of the same song? A fusion of the two maps? A mod choice?

P.S. I'm not familiar with the map-ranking procedure in this regard haha.

Your patterns are messy. animask uses some symmetry when he makes his patterns, and symmetry makes his difficulty look pretty. Maybe you should add some more symmetry to your difficulties?

As much as I would like to be on the contrary, this map is acceptable. I'm not a big fan of circles past the Normal tick.

I find the offset off.

After over an hour of testing, I find the offset to be around 1080.

It shouldn't be too far from the exact offset.

General:

-- "edhitagi.png" is too big please resize to 1024x768 or 800x600
-- Delete "bakemonogatari" from tags it's covered in the source.
-- Set BG color to black on all difficulties.

Easy:

00:56:170 - Start Kiai here.
01:25:807 - End Kiai here.

Normal:

Delete the unused inheriting sections e.g. 00:45:159 etc.

01:14:898 (3,4,5) - This bit feels a little empty try adding some more beats?
01:17:807 (5) - New combo here (start of new lyric).
01:20:352 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Move the inheriting sections off the beats (back 1 tick), if someone hits early it ruins the effect.

Hard:

Overall: The maps are ok, you need to tidy up your use of kiai and inheriting sections though. ~ Star.

That's cool~ I've never checked the ranked maps for offset. I got this one myself after some hard extensive "clicking" lol

And btw, erhm... this has bugged me for a while... how about a change in BG? A more colorful one that fills up the screen? Or maybe add a video? That should spice up this map quite a bit (runs away
