• Bg is too large. The recommended size is 1024 x 768
• I would add this combo color, it matches the background well.

• 00:54:312 (1) - Bring the volume up for the start of the slider. 5% is way to quite and it feels as though I didn't hit it.
• 01:02:312 (3) - Remove the clap on this note. It does not fit the music at all.
• 01:07:646 (3,4,5,6) - This part of the music if pretty powerful and a stack does not really fit it. I would change it. Suggestion:
• 01:29:646 (4,1) - This spacing...Too far apart, fix it please~
• 01:34:312 (2) - Make this slider straight like the last one.

Medium:

• 00:54:312 (1) - Remove a repeat on this slider. It seems a little hard for a Normal. Also, bring the volume up on this slider. 5% is too low.
• 01:38:646 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - This pattern can be very confusing, and it comes way to soon after the spinner. I would try something like this:

• 00:07:312 (13) - This is hard to see and the second repeat is quite unexpected. I would make it more visible so people can see the second repeat.
• 01:07:646 (1,2,3) - This seems to be awfully forced. It barley goes with the music. I would delete (2) and (3). (This goes for the other patterns like this)
• 01:13:394 (5) - If you do decide to reject the previous comment. This note is unsnapped.
• 01:55:646 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17) - I would keep the spacing consistent with the previous stream so it does not confuse the player.
• 01:57:979 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1) - I would change the slow down to 0.75x. It feels a lot better when playing.

Overall:

Not a bad map, but I see space for improvement. I like how you take risks and show some creativity, but it gets in the way of the gameplay sometimes.

For now, modding is only open for Rust, Bronze, and Platinum Diffs. The other two, is still WIP.

All mods are granted 1 kudosu star. Although the mods aren't followed yet, i will try to update the diffs modded as much as possible after i finish the two new diffs (Gold and Silver).

Yeah, you got me interested a bit, so I'll give this a full mod (it's been months since my last one uhuh) even though i promised myself i wouldn't have done such thing anymore.

So:

- General: (Considerations and things you need to check/fix for the whole map)
  • Timing inconsistencies. Use the timing from Emdyion's difficulty for the whole mapset, because it's using the correct timing signature for each section. Then also resnap all notes, fix preview time and fix any possible unsnapped inherited section you notice for each difficulty (as they will probably get unsnapped thus messing up hitsounding, KIAI time or other stuff).
    Add "Emdyion" to tags
    I would +15% the volume of every timing section for each difficulty (except for Emdyion's), it's kinda low right now imho.
- Storyboard:
  • The Scale and Move values you used for "bg_fade" are not good enough and because of that the "fade" effect is not alligned correctly. Considering that you're also using a non-conventional BG size, Let's just do a one-fix for everything altogether:

  1. i suppose there's overuse of clap, finish, and normal-whistle. imo, claps' position should be consitent, for example, 2/4 clap or 4-clap, and finishes just only put on downbeats or emphatic beats. Really a good stream but the hit sound is mess...please try to make it better and this map will be great
  2. 00:26:977 (3,4) - change to a five-notes stream?
  3. 00:54:311 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - i suppose an anti-stream here is better~~up to u~

Timing is a bit off. it should be -6 at the first section. (-8 at the others. i don't know what caused your timing section problems... it's now changed a bit during 1st/2nd.), don't forget to snap everything.
I don't know if it's just me, the SB load sometimes get over 5.0x, plz check it (also the reason may be i downloaded this map twice)
One thing i hope you could pay some attention in the future: try to use different Slider Velocities for different diffs, especially the higher ones. Now [Emdyion's Silver] have faster sliders than [Plantinum], it's kinda weird. However, i'm not trying to make you change the settings in this map, just want you to know it.

Not focusing any of the patterns...i think even in the easiest diff, you could make the 1/1 notes clear from each other (no parts stacked), it looks better to me.
01:16:979 (1) - maybe change the direction a bit, make it parallel or use a larger degree.
01:27:646 (1,2,3,4) - i think you're trying to make it curve more along with the notes, but it won't make much sense because they're so slow. A straight line here may be better.

A map set should not have more than two difficulties in the same difficulty level (not based on stars, but on how the map "feels").

Still in doubt but after 2 hours' modding/fixing period i'm really tired... the map itself is a good try somewhere i guess.

To the next BAT/MAT:
At some of the parts, SB Load get over 5.0x (example: 00:54:301 - ), i'm not good at SB and don't know a good idea to tone it down, but my old computer could run it fine so i just assume it's ok here.
The patterns in [Plantinum] is quite crazy but ... well, don't know if crazy players will like things like that.
Hope i didn't miss other things.

Bubbled popped by the mapper for various reasons:

First of all, my previous SB fix wasn't applied correctly so there was still the flickering background instead of the fixed one.

Also, there are a LOT of timing inconsistencies between difficulties. Since the mapper told me he's afraid of breaking something, there's an archive with every single difficulty using a consistent timing:

A few inherited sections may be 2/3 ms early but that does not ruin how histounds should work (them being late does instead)
Also fixed some other inconsistent stuff (preview time and tags having emydion instead of emdyion)

  1. Timing: Your timing is off. Also it's completely off at one spot.
    You need 1 more red line than you have atm, here is the timing:

    BPM 180, OFFSET 2308, 4/4 time signature
    BPM 180, OFFSET 34307, 3/4 time signature
    BPM 180, OFFSET 54330, 4/4 time signature
    BPM 180,OFFSET 55650, 4/4 time signature
    BPM 90, OFFSET 116983, 4/4 time signature

    The underlined one is the one you're missing.
    Don't forget to adjust timings in your storyboard as well.
  2. Tags: You have incorrectly spelled "emdyion" in your tags.
[Platinum]
  1. 00:02:302 (2) - I would suggest a new combo for this, because the first note is not the downbeat and it's a "pre-note", while this note actually "starts" the song, or so you could say. This would bring consistency throughout this section as well, because your combos are 1-13, and this one is the only one which is 1-14.
  2. 00:24:969 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - You could bring some dynamics here, each triplet could be louder than the previous one, cause the music is more intense. Also it bugs me that 00:25:636 (7) doesn't have a finish on it, because it's the "heaviest" note of all of them imo. Adding it could be overusing your finish cause you have it just after it, so see if you want to change this somehow (you did something similar in your Silver diff).
  3. 00:32:969 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Similarly to the above, you could bring some dynamics here. 456 could be louder than the 123, and 789 could be louder than 456, to bring out the music better.
  4. 00:54:302 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - These notes should be snapped to 1/3, not 1/4. Also this is that spot where the timing is off, so apply your timing change first, then snap these to 1/3 manually, else your streams will break.
  5. 01:21:469 (7,8) - You should totally tone down this spacing. Best way to do it would be to make a better curve in the previous stream so the stream where the 7 is located in is a bit higher (and 8 a bit lower, since the section is kinda symmetrical). 8.46x jump on 1/4 180bpm is not something I am comfortable with approving (ranking).
  6. 01:51:635 (1) - Add a finish here perhaps? (same goes for 01:52:969 (5), they are in the music and it would follow the music a bit better)
  7. 01:51:802 (2,4,6,8) - I would actually suggest that you either ctrl+r all of them (cause as they are they play extremely uncomfortable for me, cause it breaks the flow of movement), or atleast ctrl+r 4 and 8, to make the jumps a bit easier. Even when reversed, they are still very challenging but they are just better to play.
    One more thing about those, they aren't really lined up properly, you could say the incrementing spacing was a bit random, you could try lining them up better, something like this.
  8. 02:07:635 (1) - Remove the repeat? It ends pretty much nowhere, while as a normal slider it would end where the last note starts.
[Gold]
  1. 00:02:302 (2) - Just like I suggested for the highest diff, you should probably add a new combo here.
  2. 00:55:635 (1) - The 2 finishes here bother me, remove the 2nd one.
  3. 01:54:302 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Whistles on these sliders seemed pretty random. Try removing all of those, and add them to 01:54:469, 01:54:802, 01:55:135, 01:55:469 and see how that works out. I think this sounds better because it brings out more important parts of the music.
  4. 02:04:969 (1) - Remove this new combo for this section to be consistent with the highest diff.
  5. 02:07:635 (3) - Add a new combo here instead. Also, consider removing the repeat, same reason like I wrote in Platinum diff.
[Emdyion's Silver]
  1. 00:28:969 (5) - This should be a new combo instead of 00:29:636 (1).
[Silver]
  1. 00:02:303 (2) - Consider adding a new combo here, same reason as the other diffs.
  2. 01:32:972 (3) - New combo here and remove it from 01:33:638 (1), makes more sense as it follows the music better. If you think the combo will be long, just add a new combo to 01:34:305 (3) then, cause it makes the pattern prettier as well.
[Bronze]
  1. 00:08:969 (3) - Well, I think you were aiming for symmetry maybe, but this clearly isn't symmetrical.
  2. 00:23:636 (1) - Sounds like you're missing a finish at the start.
  3. 01:50:969 (4) - I would suggest to remove this whistle cause it sounds off, as you didn't use it before this in this section.
[Rust]
  1. -
Just don't forget to carefully check how you resnap your notes after you fix your timing. Also check AIMod for unsnapped notes just in case.

edit2: for the record, the timings were fine tuned a bit and I forgot to update the post. Since some time passed I will leave the post as it is, but will note that we did -5 to the all red timing sections (except for the first two) in this post. This brings offsets on a consistent level.

this is the moment where the hardest part can be seen. Doesn't mean its so far, its not rankable. I've already done a lot of test plays with several players (Silvia, Uan, Apricot, etc..) And they actually got all this part 300. Yes, you may ask them a few test plays and you'll see.

Players hitting that or not, 8.5x spacing on 1/4 @180 bpm is too much. Excuse such as "that player can play it" is not a valid excuse for something that doesn't make much sense in a map.
Keep in mind that this map goes for ranking and it's not a gimmick superhard map for approval. I could hit that note myself after a couple of retries, but that still doesn't change the fact that it's just too big of a spacing. Since I can't rank this because of the timing change, I could rebubble without that change though, but you should really tone it down.

However the timing is still off. While the first offset is debatable cause it's a <10ms change, the offset 00:55:635 is just way too early. You can even hear it's too early. I strongly suggest to apply my timings, or if you are keen on keeping your first offset, just apply all other timings I provided with -5 on all of them.

Let me just give you my opinion on that, which has nothing to do is it correct or not.

You map 01:19:634 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16) these 16 notes as a stream, and then you make a jump out of 01:21:468 (7,8), which makes absolutely zero sense to me, because the music is the same pretty much.
I do understand why you wanted that jump, because you could say "to split a section of 8 beats into 2, so each section has 4 beats". That is atleast what I was thinking when I saw this. However, even though you have other extreme jumps, they are not 1/4, they are 1/2 and that is completely fine. This 1/4 jump is too extreme and is not something you should have in a rankable map (even though if it's not unrankable by rules, but common sense still applies).

Also you missed a whistle on that slider 7 start. :P

Which is why I wrote my timings -5 if he doesn't agree with the first offset change. Keep in mind that the timing sections have to be snapped, so it's not only that red line that needs changing. :)

No. After applying all of my timings, you can do -5 to all of those if you think my offset is a bit late. I think my offsets are spot on though. I wrote all of my timings down in my mod post, so when you apply those, if you are gonna keep your first offset 2303 (mine is 2308), just do -5 on all other timing sections I provided in that post when applying them.

  1. Storyboard: A few seconds above 5.0x load won't hurt, but if it can be avoided it's best to do so. The thing is, your storyboard goes up to 6.2x in play (test) mode, and this CAN be avoided if you set the ending fade for your lights at 55496. This is 1/4 earlier than it ends right now, because on the next tick, the SBLoad goes crazy. Since it's only a fraction of a second, I won't hold it against you, but you should definitely change this if you can, seeing how you made the storyboard, you have the knowledge on how to do this.
[Platinum]
  1. 00:18:307 - In this section, when I suggested to add dynamics, I didn't mean that you should just reduce the volume for each part. I meant that you progressively increase the volume from that point. For example: 00:18:307 - here you should use the volume you have now, but 00:18:641 - here you increase it by 5%, and you increase it again by 5% for the next round of notes (up to the part where you have 80% volume obviously). This creates a crescendo which is really nice. The same applies to the section at 00:20:974, section at 00:23:641. This does not apply for 00:26:307 this section though, so you should leave the volume at 80% here.

Best way to handle this would be to end the spinner at 01:37:644 with a soft hitsound set with 5% volume, and then you put back normal hitsounds of 65% volume to 01:37:644, and you map a note here. This also means removal of the new combo on 01:38:644 (1) and adding a finish to the newly mapped note at 01:38:311.
    Something like this.

This creates a crescendo which is really nice. The same applies to the section at 00:20:974, section at 00:23:641. This does not apply for 00:26:307 this section though, so you should leave the volume at 80% here. I didn't change it since I think it sounds quite fine now. :)

*You know, many people will kill you for your difficulty spread. I suggest you to "collect" some BATs and MATs opinions about your spread difficulty. For me your set can go for ranking, since it's like to consider Silver and Emc's Silver as Hard difficulties.

I think the Diff Spread is fine. [185k > 582k > 2698k > 3484k > 7264k > 14192k]

I'm trying to collect enough resources from BATs / MATs btw. But some ignore me or something because they said that I was very annoying (which is true xD).

Eh? The thing I was talking about was 85% volume on that section, since you didn't use normal sound. You could have just said you will leave it as it is, instead of "done" on everything.
