Bringing more rap to osu!

I remembered this map exists and fixed the weird sv issue on the top diff, timing is still a bit wonky though

Thanks to all modders!

Hallo,

Hallo,
Hello

Just wanted to say that easy and normal need to have a preview-point. Well ... duh

Dann http://prntscr.com/gop818 solltest du das fixen bei easy und normal.
You should fix this in your easy and normal intentional and will be changed as soon as all the diffs are completed

Vllt mehr Tags?
More tags? Can't think of any I haven't tagged already, tbh

Ich glaube du solltest bei Easy und normal den ton bei den timing points bisschen leiser machen.. bei Legacy ist es okay.
You should decrease the volume on easy and normal. I'ts fine on 'Legacy' fixed

Bei Easy und Normal 1/1.
Rhythm should be 1/1 for Easy and Normal No Idea what you meant, the easy has nothing faster than 1/1 and normals may use 1/2
Thanks for the mod! :)

- you can increase this slider 00:09:707 (3) - length till this red tick https://puu.sh/y7I9S/fdc2e726aa.png it feels nicer on the song same with this 04:25:707 (3) -
- it will nicer if you change this slider 00:36:373 (1) - to two circles
- I think it would be nice if you decrease the hitsound volume on 00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - first circle and increasing a bit after each other circle, it will be nice to play
- 01:09:707 (2,3) - ctrl+g this
- insert a circle with clap here 01:29:573 on the same position of 4
- I don't think the clap on this slider tail is proposal 01:42:373 (1) -
- you can decrease the volume of this slider tail 01:45:973 (3) - to combine with the silence of the song
- now this is unpredictable 01:53:707 (1,2) - since it would be misread as a stream, you did the same thing circles later, so if you find a way to prepare the player to do this pattern, it would be fine
- it would nice to put a circle here 02:13:573 with an NC and undo the NC from here 02:13:707 (2) -
- increase this green tick volume to 75% https://puu.sh/y7IRy/4b2d10c4ed.png
- you could increase a little bit the slider velocity in kiai time
- silence this slider tail too 03:54:773 (4) -
- you can move the last spinner 1 tick to the right and put a circle with NC in the middle of the screen 04:44:850 (1) - https://puu.sh/y7Jjt/89ca742834.png
- I haven't understood this timing points since its the same bpm https://puu.sh/y7Jnf/9612b09f19.png
- you can end the 2nd kiai on 03:37:707

this map is really fun to play :)

Box so the post isn't huge
Legacy
- you can increase this slider 00:09:707 (3) - length till this red tick https://puu.sh/y7I9S/fdc2e726aa.png it feels nicer on the song same with this 04:25:707 (3) - why not

- it will nicer if you change this slider 00:36:373 (1) - to two circles I don't see why, the followed vocal only has one syllable, and suddenly following the beat would be weird. Additionally, these sliders work as an indicator to represent the rising intensity.

- I think it would be nice if you decrease the hitsound volume on 00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - first circle and increasing a bit after each other circle, it will be nice to play done

- 01:09:707 (2,3) - ctrl+g this generally a good idea flow-wise, but the section consists mainly of this type of a back and forth snapping, so it doesn't really work in the context of the map

- insert a circle with clap here 01:29:573 on the same position of 4 There is no sound there though

- I don't think the clap on this slider tail is proposal 01:42:373 (1) - I don't see anything wrong with it. It's on purpose though

- you can decrease the volume of this slider tail 01:45:973 (3) - to combine with the silence of the song I didn't do that because 1. It is an abrupt silence after, not a fading out during the slider and 2. because I prioritize vocals, which are still clearly audible

- now this is unpredictable 01:53:707 (1,2) - since it would be misread as a stream, you did the same thing circles later, so if you find a way to prepare the player to do this pattern, it would be fine This hasn't come up with any play testers yet, so I haven't thought about it. I definitely see your point though, but I just can't see a way to naturally introduce this kind of a pattern when this flow-pattern in the vocals is also unique. I'll have to think more about this, and/or hope for someone more experienced to propose a solution :D

- it would nice to put a circle here 02:13:573 with an NC and undo the NC from here 02:13:707 (2) - I don't think a circle appropriately expresses the sound on there, since it is part of the vocal expressed by the slider. It is only the very last part of the word, not even a complete syllable, which is why I have decided against mapping it altogether

- increase this green tick volume to 75% https://puu.sh/y7IRy/4b2d10c4ed.png I made a big mistake there with the volume, good ears :) , have made some more changes too.

- you could increase a little bit the slider velocity in kiai time
well that is my subjective interpretation of relative intensity, so I won't change that, unless it's somehow unrankable. Also, increasing within a reasonable amount i.e. 1.75x to 2x doesn't really make a huge difference during the play imo.

- silence this slider tail too 03:54:773 (4) -
I'm not sure what to do on this one, since the gap after is so short leaving the hitsounds on will not express the silence nicely, however it would mean breaking consistency by silencing this one, since I really don't wanna silence the other slider. For now I'll follow your suggestion though

- you can move the last spinner 1 tick to the right and put a circle with NC in the middle of the screen 04:44:850 (1) - https://puu.sh/y7Jjt/89ca742834.png
The sound you suggest to play with a circle is the very same that the spinner expresses, so I'd rather keep it as one object.

- I haven't understood this timing points since its the same bpm https://puu.sh/y7Jnf/9612b09f19.png
The first one should be clear. The second one has to do with the lower difficulties and the fact that aimod wants you to use the same timing points for every diff. Nr. 3 and 4 are used for offset, since the beat suddenly starts coming in earlier after the kiai.

- you can end the 2nd kiai on 03:37:707 I see your point, however I feel that afterwards it is especially the beat and the intensity that have me keep the kiai until later. I would love to use a different form of emphasis after 03:37:707, but since there's only kiai, it'll have to do.

this map is really fun to play :) Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to mod my map <3

01:16:907 - why leave this empty
01:21:707 - ^
02:08:907 - ^
idk why u skip alot of drum beats
01:47:840 (1,2) - spacing just too big for me

flow isnt really a problem for me, but what would be rather hard to play are these kinds of long linear circle patterns 00:47:307 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - and stuff 00:48:640 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) -

and especially this when it accelerates 00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) -

I left them empty, because there are no vocals, plus I didn't like the feel of having them mapped. I'll add them for now

idk why u skip alot of drum beats same reason ( didn't find where though so not fixed)

01:47:840 (1,2) - spacing just too big for me I know it's technically a 1/12 gap, but it plays like 1/6, fixed anyways

flow isnt really a problem for me, but what would be rather hard to play are these kinds of long linear circle patterns 00:47:307 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - and stuff 00:48:640 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - I'll change these two, and I believe that should also make the accelerator easier to hit, since you don't get used to a certain spacing

and especially this when it accelerates 00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I'd like to keep this if possible, I guess further playtesting will tell
Thanks a lot for taking the time to not only look at the map, but even give some constructive criticism as well!

Hello! ~ From my queue

00:28:640 (5,3,4) - overlap
00:31:040 (1,2) - overlap
00:33:307 (7,3,4) - overlap
00:47:307 (1,2,3,4,5) - this pattern is so bad (can you increase the spacing?)
00:48:640 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this pattern can get player confused (^)
00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - there's no sound for increasing the spacing
00:51:707 (2,6,2) - overlap (so i won't write about overlaps because this map is filled with overlaps)
01:39:173 (1) - why the hell is this note here?
01:41:440 (1,2,3) - rip spacing?
02:52:640 (1) - there's no sound for this note)
03:37:707 - you forgot to turn off this kiai.

This map is mega-overlapped.

Good luck! :)

00:28:640 (5,3,4) - overlap 5 has faded by the time 3 and 4 show up.
00:31:040 (1,2) - overlap They don't even overlap??
00:33:307 (7,3,4) - overlap 7 has faded when 3 and 4 show up.
00:47:307 (1,2,3,4,5) - this pattern is so bad (can you increase the spacing?) Spacing this pattern out won't make it any better. I think it's fine as it is though.
00:48:640 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this pattern can get player confused (^)Well, if you think so, you'd wanna include the reason why you think it will confuse players. Otherwise, I'll have to guess, and my guess is, this is fine.
00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - there's no sound for increasing the spacing Well, yes there is?
00:51:707 (2,6,2) - overlap (so i won't write about overlaps because this map is filled with overlaps) You saved both of us a lot of time
01:39:173 (1) - why the hell is this note here? Why the hell is this word here?
01:41:440 (1,2,3) - rip spacing? correlating to the buildup in the music
02:52:640 (1) - there's no sound for this note) It's mapped to whatever the vocalist is doing there. Rhythmically more interesting, and prepares for these 02:55:573 (1,2) -
03:37:707 - you forgot to turn off this kiai.

Since you're the second person to say this, I'll consider removing kiai after 03:37:707. I'll wait for a few more people's opinion on this though.

This map is mega-overlapped. You haven't played it, have you? The overlaps you pointed out are non-issues while playing.

Good luck! :) Thanks!

Stacked objects won't work correctly often, so take those with salt.

wow uh that's a lot of blankets
Holy shit thanks. Fixed everything

Hello!

From my M4M queue, sorry for the late mod, been busy recently ;-;

Highest is out of my range so I'll do Hard+Normal

Hard
00:31:040 (1,2) - Not quite a straight line - move 1 to the right a bit.
00:36:373 (1,2,3,4) - Spread these a bit more to remove overlap.
01:07:040 (1,2,3,4) - This set of notes looks strange - make sure all the angles in the shape are equal for a good aesthetic!
01:14:507 (2,3) - Maybe point 2 directly at 3?
01:25:440 (10,1) - Why is this note stacked when all other gaps in music have had small jumps? Maybe make this a small jump to fit with the rest of the gaps in music.
01:39:173 (1) - :!: Spinner starts 1/6 beat too early.
02:01:173 (6,7,8) - Looks... off? I think the angles are a little off, maybe rotate 6 counter-clockwise a tiny bit, just a few degrees.
02:01:973 (8,1,2,3) - For these silent sections, stacking the notes represents the music really nicely compared to spacing the notes. Try that here, too!
02:36:107 (7,8,9,10,11,1) - Flow slider onwards from stream for a better a e s t h e t i c
03:17:707 (4,4) - Rotate the straight slider counter-clockwise a bit so it runs under the curved slider, making this look more intentional than some weird accidental overlap.
03:17:707 (4,3,3) - Make these parallel?
03:41:707 (1,2,3) - :!: wtf happened here, looks like if i tried to stack these notes on a monday morning
04:03:307 (6,1) - Silence here, maybe stack these?

Normal
00:06:507 (1) - :!: Offscreen slider head.
00:12:907 (1) - :!: Was this section scaled up at some point? More offscreen sliders.
00:16:107 (1) - :!: ^
01:04:107 (1) - This slider doesn't emphasize the rhythm here very well, but for a Normal diff I don't know if there's much you can do about it ;-;
01:52:373 (3,4,1) - These sliders look kinda awkward together.
02:08:107 (1,1,2) - :!: This might confuse beginners, move 2 out of the way more to make it more obvious that it isn't the next note to hit.
02:17:973 (4) - :!: more rebellious sliders
04:10:640 (1) - Should probably end at 04:16:240

Really solid mapset, clearly a lot of effort went into it, I hope this gets ranked in future!

From my M4M queue, sorry for the late mod, been busy recently ;-; No problem. Thanks for taking the time.

Hard
00:31:040 (1,2) - Not quite a straight line - move 1 to the right a bit.done

00:36:373 (1,2,3,4) - Spread these a bit more to remove overlap. Will keep. Spacing this much further isn't really an option, plus the overlap that slowly fades away does well in showcasing the rising intensity imo

01:07:040 (1,2,3,4) - This set of notes looks strange - make sure all the angles in the shape are equal for a good aesthetic! I don't really see a problem with that pattern

01:14:507 (2,3) - Maybe point 2 directly at 3? Subjective thing I guess. I don't like how it looks if you do that, and both options play the same essentially.

01:25:440 (10,1) - Why is this note stacked when all other gaps in music have had small jumps? Maybe make this a small jump to fit with the rest of the gaps in music. err why not

01:39:173 (1) - :!: Spinner starts 1/6 beat too early. y

02:01:173 (6,7,8) - Looks... off? I think the angles are a little off, maybe rotate 6 counter-clockwise a tiny bit, just a few degrees.fixed differently

02:01:973 (8,1,2,3) - For these silent sections, stacking the notes represents the music really nicely compared to spacing the notes. Try that here, too!
actually fixed that by fixing the suggestion above lul

02:36:107 (7,8,9,10,11,1) - Flow slider onwards from stream for a better a e s t h e t i c will probably fix later

03:17:707 (4,4) - Rotate the straight slider counter-clockwise a bit so it runs under the curved slider, making this look more intentional than some weird accidental overlap.did

03:17:707 (4,3,3) - Make these parallel? Don't think it matters, really. I prefer the look of these angled ones

03:41:707 (1,2,3) - :!: wtf happened here, looks like if i tried to stack these notes on a monday morning lmao

04:03:307 (6,1) - Silence here, maybe stack these? Not really the same thing as the other times I stacked. Will keep

Normal
00:06:507 (1) - :!: Offscreen slider head. No Idea how this happend lol
00:12:907 (1) - :!: Was this section scaled up at some point? More offscreen sliders.
00:16:107 (1) - :!: ^ All fixed

01:04:107 (1) - This slider doesn't emphasize the rhythm here very well, but for a Normal diff I don't know if there's much you can do about it ;-; I see your point, but as you said, I can't really think of a fitting object combination, that doesn't go further than what normals allow.

01:52:373 (3,4,1) - These sliders look kinda awkward together. agreed, fixed.

02:08:107 (1,1,2) - :!: This might confuse beginners, move 2 out of the way more to make it more obvious that it isn't the next note to hit.fixed

02:17:973 (4) - :!: more rebellious sliders This one is fine, just looks off in the editor

04:10:640 (1) - Should probably end at 04:16:240 agreed and fixed

GL, HF!

Thanks a lot for the mod and the kind words. Also thanks for shooting 5 stars (holy shit) on this map! I appreciate it!
Also glad someone finally modded the lower diffs
:)
Regou
placeholder, i'll come to mod this map soon

Awesome map and song, i might mod this but for now ill shoot you 3 stars so you get that 14 priority so its now able to get bubbled :D

Edit: Turn the hitsounds way lower, experiment with like around 30%+ on normal and around 50%+ on the kiai's

Thanks a lot for shooting 3 stars! ( hoyl  , really wasn't necessary though, this probably won't get bubbled anytime soon anyways.)

Also thanks a lot for your kind words, really motivates me :D

For the hitsounds, well I've kinda been procrastinating since it's just really dull, repetitive work, but I've recently picked out some nice samples and will begin to hitsound all of the diffs with new sounds, after I'm done with the Insane diff. I don't know just yet how loud these samples are compared to the music, so the experimenting will have to wait, until I complete my Insane, and thus the set (finally).

Self-reminder to double check the offset on all maps.

as i see you change timing, but it still wrong
take this
50,800,4,2,0,70,1,0
12887,800,4,2,0,70,1,0
277650,800,4,2,0,70,1,0
just remove all your redpoints and paste this under [TimingPoints] in notepad
why so? because music should change on big white ticks. same for second section. also you have point on 04:32:084. it unrelevant because here appear pre-sound right before beat, not beat shift.
note: timing musst be same in all diffs

01:16:973 - 01:26:373 - isnt kiai should be here if it enabled on 03:37:706 - 04:10:507? in both cases bgm is same
also i'm not sure kiai really need here. But if you want keep it, cut kiai on 04:09:973

Lgc

00:09:600 (1,3) - try blanket
00:36:373 (1,2,3,4,5) - why so closely?
00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - song dont support it i guess
01:11:973 (2,3) and 01:13:573 (2,3) - just overspaced for no reason
03:32:373 (1,2) - too fast space reducing. Try move 03:31:707 (2) close to 03:31:839 (3) for start reducing smoothly
maybe extend spinner to 04:48:850 (1)? same for other diffs
all that cornered sliders look messy

hrd

00:19:307 (1) - only 1 straight slider in whole section, curve him?
02:48:107 (1) - here corner fit better
03:05:973 (1,2,3,4) - lol where sounds? How to click it? and strong beat at slider end 03:08:907. it may be unacceptable

00:09:600 (1,3) - try blanket fixed

00:36:373 (1,2,3,4,5) - why so closely? because this conveys the point of rising intensity just fine, anything further is just difficulty inflation

00:50:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - song dont support it i guess well, yes it does. Listen to the vocals, not the beat.

01:11:973 (2,3) and 01:13:573 (2,3) - just overspaced for no reason I don't get what's overspaced about these two examples?

03:32:373 (1,2) - too fast space reducing. Try move 03:31:707 (2) close to 03:31:839 (3) for start reducing smoothly I don't think the songs reduces the intensity smoothly either

maybe extend spinner to 04:48:850 (1)? same for other diffs nah
all that cornered sliders look messy I'm guessing you mean those with red anchors? they'll stay; they serve an distinct purpose

00:19:307 (1) - only 1 straight slider in whole section, curve him? it is curved tho?

02:48:107 (1) - here corner fit better not really

03:05:973 (1,2,3,4) - lol where sounds? How to click it? and strong beat at slider end 03:08:907. it may be unacceptable what do you mean 'where sounds?' the vocals are clearly audible. There isn't even a slider end at 03:08:907

Hitsounds at the beginning are too loud
There are 2 almost same color combos used. Consider making different contrast
00:56:087 (3,4) - spacing is confusing and looks like 1/2
01:53:420 (1,2,1,2) - spacing is also confusing
01:59:820 (1,2,3) - seems too wide angle as you don't use it often
In your kiai there are some more emphasized vocals like 02:23:020 (6) - this one. These stronger sounds should be the beginning of the new pattern instead of being somewhere in it. It is in order to give some more emphasis bc now it just kind of blurs and doesn't represent sound properly
And like 02:37:153 (3) - these should be NCed. NCs just look a bit random to me bc they are neither on stronger vocals neither on stronger sounds, where they should be mostly at
03:13:953 (4,7) - overlap
03:14:487 (7,8) - make these same curved
Overall you could make some pattern sections in kiai bc it looks a bit messy
Like this one 02:37:153 (3,4,5,6) - is ok (02:37:153 (3,6) - blanket) but it'd also look cleaner if for this section you used same sliders to make it visually appealing. For example
Hope it helps a bit; GL~
