IIDX DP mapping guide(WIP)
Q. What is the "good" map in DP?
A. 混フレ(mixed phrase) is the best,分割(one kind of sound{Leads,Kicks} is separated to each side) is situational.
Q. Why is mixed phrase best?
A. Because DP is that 1 player plays maps made for 2 players.Therefore you also should have some enjoyment when you play each side of DP as 7K(7K+1).
Q. How to make mixed phrase?
A. Simply put each sounds on one side.
Example of Good maps
- Yellow Sunrise
Best DP map in Easy-Normal difficulty. Each side has one kind of sound:drums or guitars,and this follows mixed phrase completely.
- quasar
Best DP map in Hard difficulty.
- x-aria DP えぬTHER
Best DPBMS map.
Both maps look complicated,but once you find which column has kicks/hihats,you find they are made by mixed-phrase mostly.

About BG
- I don't use any BGs are not in Opening/Gallery in Website since 2016~. Many eroge mappers are tend to use spoiler BGs which may fit the song more than non-spoiler,but I don't want to spoil you. Play the base game if you like my map~
- I don't use any BGs that perhaps considered as NSFW for someone in terms of other culture(non-Japanese). Recently Anime/Visual novels which don't include any nudity/nipples etc... , become eroge without those explicit things. Therefore I think I shouldn't use any BGs are made for intent of erotic. "Intent" is important aspect of judging whether NSFW or not as I was working on Ads Rating and the manual said I should find what intent of ads and judge. Theories used among completely separate communities should be one of the answer for complicated problems IMO.
