02:44:244 - this finisher section felt a bit weird to play ngl, not entirely sure what it is but it could be the colouring of the notes?
also, an idea might be to have a low SV note here 02:45:902 for example (and other instances) and a high SV finisher right afterwards - it would be a hard reading section for players but would give a lot more dynamics for sure
03:24:665 - i think this kiai section would actually benefit by having static (albeit higher) SV all the way through, as it's still a powerful section but not in a technical way like the other 2 kiais. i think out of the 3 kiai sections, this is the one where you could get away with the most basic 1/4 patterning, but maybe with like 1.2x SV throughout the section?
in general i think the 1st and 2nd kiai sections could be a LOT more techy if you wanted them to be - the SV stuff is a good start, but having simple 1/4 patterns here with simple SV speedups/slowdowns isn't making the most of what the song has to offer.
an example could be adding a ninja spinner here 00:53:244 - for a half beat and ending it at 00:53:402 - which accents the dubstep machine noise before the section really kicks in with the fast finisher at 00:53:717 - which is something I do really like btw!
some examples of more tech-based patterns (at this level) are 1/8 doubles and 1/4+1/6 pattern combinations - i think adding some of those, especially with SV included, this section will really start to hit hard!
obviously all of this also depends on how hard you want this difficulty to be (and you mentioned there's gonna be a top diff GD so you could be saving some room for expansion there?) but it's something to think about in the meantime!
00:42:981 - buildup section could use some colour improvements imo, such as:
00:42:033 (97,98,99,100) - reverse the colours of these 4 notes to match the pitch of the vocals, add a don here 00:42:823 and make 00:42:981 a don finisher to accent the bass drop note
00:43:454 (101) - notes like these should really be kats to match the snare notes happening with the drums
you could even put a ddddk 1/4 here 00:45:191 depending if you want to fully accent the drums in this layer
stuff like this would make this buildup a lot cleaner imo
I decided to implement The Law's suggestions as per 2191629#4496433 and I really like the way the red tick notes accent the vocals, I think I'm gonna stick with how it is but I appreciate the suggestion!
I quite like this being a bit more bare to accentuate the half-time drums for the breakdown, especially leaving a gap after 00:46:947 for the bass drop. I did add a couple of notes to accent the triples and some guitar sections elsewhere tho (00:49:789, 00:51:368, 00:53:895 (made this a don), 00:54:842)
