[...] and as far as [I'm] concern[ed], [the] readability of a map isn't even something mappers should concern themselves with anyway, since players can improve to read anything or play the map a couple of times to learn the song. [I] would much rather use compelling arranges to express the song and make for an engaging experience for people that are able to play the map, instead of just worrying about if all players, even the worst of the worst, are able to play it. [T]hose handholdy maps are pretty dull imo.I think in general it's best to make higher difficulties always assuming people will be able to play them perfectly and abuse the game's mechanics to the highest extent.
