I'm going to list some recommended changes mostly based on sound. You can of course come up with different changes or disagree altogether on needing changes (01:44:934-02:02:446)
Changes
remove 01:48:600. compare sound to the previous (01:47:514)
or change 01:48:464 to ooo o ooo o O
the latter option should match the structure better.
compare sound at 01:47:853 to 01:46:699
could do oo oo
at 01:47:649?
could add note 01:51:654 or do something here for the vocals.
Not as important
Could change 01:52:943 to oo oo ooo
For sound.
01:57:016 vs 01:55:930
not really sure what to recommend. But perhaps you could add something here for the pitch shift?
could move 01:59:052 -> 01:59:188 for sound. adjust finishers
coloring suggestions
(I think the patterns are good but just some alternative ideas)
perhaps change the color patterns at 00:27:290-00:28:108 to be different. (for sound?)
k k d d k d k for example
00:18:018-00:18:836 could use the same pattern. k k d d k d k
or k d d d k d k also makes sense with the song, but may be awkward because of the k d d d d beginning
notes
(you could do for anything above Oni)
This if you wanted to add variety. the Muzukashii's would keep the simple monos and Oni+ would have unique patterns.
00:16:772-00:24:035 could follow the sound better. I really think it could use some adjustments. I'll try to give some examples, so you get the idea. Even if you don't follow the suggestions, I think you should make some kind of change to those sections.
examples of changes
no significant sound at 00:18:508. Could remove this note to follow the vocals. oo oo
is the pattern of sound
00:20:877 is awkward as a break and it also doesn't follow the sound well. (compare the sound 00:20:719 to 00:21:193)
remove 00:20:798 and place a 1/4 triple on 00:20:877 instead.
Then could remove 00:18:272 for structure consistency. (it sounds good here too)
remove the notes at 00:22:061 and 00:23:324 to differentiate from the sound at 00:22:929.
The Muzukashii's kiai placement goes crazy but I really like them.
Nitpick
Even so, 02:46:041-03:05:327 in particular feels a bit unpredictable. Maybe recheck it again, it's kind of hard to say exactly how to change it without mostly copying the first half. I don't see what is significant about 02:49:612 to have only the double (of the section) here.
the sound is essentially the same and repeats. Though you definitely can improvise if a bit more consistent.
Recommendation
If you like that double, at least follow the same structure for 02:59:612. Though preferably having it more than just twice. Otherwise, I'd recommend to just get rid of it.
Just a Nitpick
The section 01:22:112-01:44:969 feels like it's focused a lot on the sound shifting. Then you try to transition back into the structure around 01:56:398-02:07:827. It definitely works great structure wise but I just personally like the idea of following the sounds more here. It plays a bit more awkward, but I think it's interesting as a result.
Recommended change
01:57:827 -> 01:57:648
Repeat moving by 1/2 back for 02:00:684, 02:03:541 and 02:06:398
Just doing something here to focus on the chords feels necessary to me. You might end up wanting to change other stuff as a result though.
Note
maybe consider the sounds at 01:47:112, 01:49:612, 01:52:469 and 01:52:827.
I'm uncertain about if it'd fit your intended structure but they felt significant enough to at least mention.
01:59:255 is unique but 01:57:291 same sound as 01:58:362.
you could theoretically remove 01:58:898 to emphasize the sound or use 1/4 in some way. But that seems a bit much, so I didn't recommend it. I like the structure mostly how it is.
melody at 00:30:706 and 01:29:331 could be mapped a bit more accurate. This was the only area that felt weird with the sound. Highly recommend you at least change the patterns following the vocals.
For Super Ikkeullim
example of change
00:32:309 -> 00:32:424
01:30:934 -> 01:31:049
minimal change while following vocals better.
I feel like removing 00:33:454 and 01:32:079 would flow better. I definitely see why it was mapped, but it feels a bit off while playing.
alternatively adding a note at 00:33:683 and 01:32:308 (when the background vocals come in)
For Super Oni
note 00:30:706 and 01:29:331 are a bit too varied for the sound being the same. (you can keep it harder, but just tone it down a bit)
example of change
remove 00:32:309
apply change for 00:33:454 (if you changed it for top diff)
(could add some 1/4 for emphasis. not sure)
copy over to 01:29:331
recommendations
mainly lite oni and above
in general, more stuff to help shift the flow (I prefer breaks) it feels like the structure ignores any change in sound/intensity sometimes.
either remove 00:10:790 or make some significant shift around here. It feels like a transition into the 1/2 stuff would make more sense.
00:14:199 have some transition. it shouldn't all play the same here with consideration for sound imo. could be a simple break, some sort of 1/4. or something else
probably just top 2 diffs
00:10:927-00:15:563 could have 1/4, breaks or anything else mixed in with the 1/2 finisher stuff. It just feels like empty spam at the moment. I love unique finisher usage, but it doesn't feel like it's adding to the song at the moment.
For Ura Oni and Hell Oni
Examples
I'd recommend following the top diff with the 1/1 break on 00:39:589.
Alternatively, if you like the flow at the moment, remove 00:39:485 to switch up the pattern and differentiate it. It should keep both the flow and the emphasis.
00:04:830 is a similar sound (besides the vocals), so you could apply changes here too. For top diff you could try using some more 1/4 to differentiate, if you feel like it.
Notes
Either way, I think the breaks should be a bit more consistent. Or come up with an alternative way to emphasize the change. It's just a bit awkward since the sound changes while it has repeated structure throughout.
