o/ my name is way too long so call me Highwave. I'm an acc gamer and alternating-style player with an ever-growing tournament history and a long-standing rivalry with stream maps. Currently on a mini tourney break before 6WC.
I got to play with a whole handful of players whose names I'd only heard of up until now. The pools were unique and a big challenge but had a lot of fun and got back to playing some skillsets I'd left untouched for a while. We realised as we were hitting semis that the remaining teams were basically unbeatable so I'm proud of how far we got. GG!
Had a lot of issues with pain and tiredness during this tournament but still pulled some good scores and had a lot of fun. Lost to Ukraine and Germany, looking forward to a rematch in the future!
Got invited on a whim by majora and accepted since it was only 2 weekends (even though NGT2 was going on at the same time) but ended up having so much fun and popping off. The 5.8* bracket's pool scared me but was also a banger and I surprised myself. It was an honour to play, and I'm looking forward to seeing many of them in 6EC!
After a long year, I made the UK team for 6WC3! Absolutely fantastic people (and players) who I'm proud to have gone on such a journey with. Got pretty emotional getting knocked out of the tournament but it won't be the last I see of them. Hoping to go for the team again next year, and/or try for 6EUC in January.
After numerous team issues and scheduling issues, we unfortunately weren't able to put up our best performances. But the team I formed here is also one that have become good friends.
My most intense tournament thus far. Ended up going straight to losers bracket in RO16 and making it all the way to Finals with some incredible players. Though my skillcap was unfortunately my downfall here.
Got invited to this tourney by Ohhhjt2 who I beat in Mistake Tournament. I expanded my skills considerably during this tournament including adding EZ mod to my arsenal and began being able to read AR10. Have stayed good friends with the members of this team since.
