I am a random French guy. I like spending my time on the Internet, playing video games, reading mangas/watching animes, finding out about foreign cultures, thinking about everything and nothing. I speak French (native; salut à tous les francophones qui lisent cette page !), English (somewhat fluent) and am learning Japanese. I also know some programming languages. PM me or poke me in game whenever!
lurking in the forums when I don't have anything else to do.
By the way, I have been part of the official support team (2013-04-09 / 2014-07-22). I still have some knowledge left about the game's IT support so if you have a problem and need help, feel free to send me a message, I will gladly help you!
~ what I play ~
I hardly play anymore. After several years, the excitement of getting an SS eventually left me and is now something from the past. I still connect from time to time or when somebody calls me over, so for the record, here is the kind of maps I enjoy:
osu!: Insane maps filled with jumps, less than 180 BPM and no mod. 5.0 stars is my limit. I like maps with small circle size, at least those of decent quality (i.e. not maps from 2007).
osu!mania: barely playing but when I do, it's all about 4K Normal/Hard maps.
other modes: not playing.
I always aim for a full combo and an S.
And just to show off, I took part in osu! World Cups 2011 and 2012 as a French team member
I am sometimes asked permission to use my "Welcome" banner (at the top of this user page) on other user pages. This work of mine is published under the CC0 license so yes, you have permission to use it in any way you want. I would appreciate if you could credit me but as the license says, it is not mandatory.
XPJ38 is a username I created a long time ago when I was young. Here's the meaning:
XP: I don't recall exactly but it's either because I've heard of Windows XP at that time or because I was using a toothpaste named Signal Xperience. Yeah because why not, kids are dumb anyway! Also, I wanted my nickname to begin with an X because my first name starts with this letter. And XP sounded rad too.
J: I wanted a third letter to create a unique unused nickname. Some letters were banned like D and Q (French people will know why). Eventually I chose J because it sounded nice. No real meaning behind it.
38: I was born in the 38th department of France. I tend to ignore these numbers nowadays, so you can just call me XPJ.
How to pronounce it the French way like a boss: eex-pay-gee
~ thanks ~
