03:43:584 - This part feels like a prefect place for hard chordmash and not the same LN+1/2 stuff again

To be honest, this map is quite solid, but it has 2 main issues so I'm not going to bother with more of technicalities. Patterns are okay/good.
1) Some triples feel like they're unneeded, for example 00:35:780 - normal beat mapped with 3 notes when crash on 00:34:913 - is also 3 notes. Suggesting to use 2 notes for those beats unless it has more stuff into it.
2) The worse issue is however, that this map is pretty boring. It's pretty much constant 1/2 patterns with occasional LNs, when there is A LOT of REALLY LOUD 1/4s just everywhere in faster parts. In order to make it enjoyable you should map those 1/4s into a jumpstream (streams with chords).

Sorry for a really lazy mod, but hope it helps o/

To be honest, this map is quite solid, but it has 2 main issues so I'm not going to bother with more of technicalities. Patterns are okay/good.
1) Some triples feel like they're unneeded, for example 00:35:780 - normal beat mapped with 3 notes when crash on 00:34:913 - is also 3 notes. Suggesting to use 2 notes for those beats unless it has more stuff into it.
2) The worse issue is however, that this map is pretty boring. It's pretty much constant 1/2 patterns with occasional LNs, when there is A LOT of REALLY LOUD 1/4s just everywhere in faster parts. In order to make it enjoyable you should map those 1/4s into a jumpstream (streams with chords). This i will Check later too.

Hi, great song choice. I love the map but I feel it could be far better. Whether you think my mod helps or not is completely up to you just know I want to help make it better. I must stress that this is all optional and will am not demanding you implement these changes.

This will mostly be about adding more diversity to the map to make it less repetitive. It will also cover a few points that Kami mentioned but a little more detailed.

A detailed explanation of a couple issues Kami pointed out
In the majority of the map you have notes like this 1/2 beat at 00:16:358



Perhaps it should be like this?



The only issue I have with this is that the sound is stronger on the top row, usually there would be three notes on the stronger beats instead of the weaker beats like in the second picture. It may be that it's to another sound, but that sound is difficult to determine for me personally. This also applies to places like where you have LNs but pretty much the same 1/2 patterns. The picture below is an example where a single is on the stronger sound instead of a 2 note chord. Another option would to just have them both as 2 note chords.



I think it would better like this because the 3 note chord is on the stronger sound.


Options to Improve Diversity and lessen boring repetition
The main issue I have with the map as a whole is that it is almost entirely 1/2 patterns. It's too repetitive.
In some sections you could make use of the hitsounds a bit better. You could add a personal touch to your diff to make add diversity and make it less repetitive. Like some louder soft normal hitsounds to add some brief streams here and there.

Option 1: add 1/4 patterns

If you listen closely there is a fair bit of 1/4 in the background you can map to as well. Why is 00:13:064 to 00:13:584 the only place with a short stream?



Having more of these would make the map alot better imo.
Below is just a few more places where you could add 1/4 patterns:

  • 00:14:277 to 00:14:451
    00:16:879 to 00:17:225 and 00:17:399 to 00:17:746
    01:23:988 to 01:24:335
    01:39:249 to 01:39:769
There are many more where you could add short streams or even jump streans like Kami's example, but when used effectively can lessen the boring repetition.

Option 2: Add more Long Notes to make a more lyrical pattern.

This may sound obvious but switching the note focus (like the sounds you are mostly focused on such as vocals, drums etc) can change the feel in a map a little and feel a little more immersed while playing your map.

Combining this with option 1 creates can make put out some more interesting effects.

There is of course a lot more advice I can't think of at the moment. The rest of this is just general modding.

Hi Crono! First of all. Thank you so much for your Mod! It's so hard to find Modder for Marathon Maps :D!

I already have think about to change the 2&3 Chords. Other Modder say's the same but i just a little bit scared it could destroy the Pattern of this Song.
I'll try it out today. I would be really cool when you can take a look over after i change the Pattern!
