As the music is pretty weak in most parts, I kept it peaceful and quiet, mostly because it doesn't have drumrolls which you mapped with streams, which I thus also cannot hitsound ;-;

Hi, you solved my puzzle, so you won a mod and an extra kudosu star on this map!

[General]

|Some sounds are penetrantly loud. This only applies to certain streams such as 01:24:747 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) -. This is not a green line issue, but caused by a custom hitsound being way too loud. so I decreased the volume of "soft-hitclap" for you. http://puu.sh/gRt5k.wav

|Your beatmap lacks a bit of structure. You are trying to use symmetry to structure it, which is fine, but you don't follow that symmetry enough and that's why patterns sometimes are pretty much wildly spread. So for parts that don't underlie any symmetry rule, you should either make them more coherent (as in: more linked, flowing) or apply the same symmetry like before. You told me to be specific about these parts, that's why I will list some inconsistencies now.

[Marathon]

Here are some symmetrical issues:
00:11:292 (1) - Never appears again.
01:17:838 (3,1,2) - Problems with DS, they all have the same rhythmical distance but different local distances; do not decrease DS if not totally nessecary.
01:31:292 (1,2,3) - structureless
01:35:656 (1,2) - symmetrical, but doesn't suggest any structure because of the mouse movement that is needed to hit those objects. I would suggest a shape like ") ("

A lot of problems, even problems with symmetry, are caused by following issue.

|00:25:656 (6,4) - This will probably cause some confusion: The sliders end on something called "downbeat". It is highly suggested to start an object on those downbeats. That would be basically every white line.Further examples for wrongly pronounced downbeats would be 00:36:565 (2,3) - , 00:30:747 (2) - , 00:37:656 (2,5) - , 00:40:565 (1,2) - 00:44:565 (1,1,2) - , 00:47:474 (8) - , etc. Those end on important white ticks that should be pronounced with a starting object, not with the end of one. Players release the slider on this point, meaning that the hitsound does not emphathise a button hit or a mouseclick, which is bad. A hitsound should give feedback when clicking, so try to keep that in mind and put sliders in a way that they support a hit.
Moreover, you have sometimes ignored the downbeats on parts where it was dominant. Examples are: 00:30:201 - , 00:30:565 - , 00:36:020 - , 00:36:383 -

|00:27:292 (1,2,3) - I don't think you really need to extend any of those sliders. There are multiple occasions on which sliders are extended without a certain reason.
|03:06:201 (1,1,1) - Too many NCs.

|03:52:383 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Streams like that don't look very appealing, Try to form round curves. If you can't do it by hand and eye, perform following steps:

  1. Place a round slider and select it
  2. Go to "Compose" and choose "Convert Slider to Stream"
  3. Select the distance snap you used for the stream and voila.
|04:22:747 (3,4,5,6) - Could be a nicer square.
|04:56:747 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Maybe a bit harsh, I suggest that you decrease the distance a bit.

Yeah, that's basically it. Some slider shapes were a bit unclean, such as 01:08:747 (3,4) - , but they are the smallest problem here. Try to make your map more appealing by avoiding overlaps, creating good patterns by orientating on geometrical shapes like triangles and keep your distance snap clean and playable.

It's a good song and map, but two things bother me:

01:23:111 (3,4,5) This triple and the other one later in the song seems so off, and it always feel like i shouldn't click 3 and 5.
01:32:747 (1,2,3) You use this style of slider timing so many times, perhaps add hit circles or shorten the sliders for subsequent rhythms.

the artist is Jesus-P, not the kagamines (you can check here and here for a couple of my reference points)

you can take out <remote> <control> and <nolanm> from the tags. for remote control, it is because that is the song name. for nolanm, it is because it is your username, not someone who did a collab on the map or a guest difficulty on the map

source should not be vocaloid. i don't think i have seen a single vocaloid map with that in the source field, only in the tags.

Shows the same concerns I had when you asked me to test that cirno song, the spacing is just too random, and not really appropriate at the correct times, some are spaced too close while others too far, you make them overlap like 00:44:747 (1,2,1,2,3) - which isn't good
Having such random spikes like 00:47:838 (1,2,3,4,5) - where you have such short spacing then big ones is just unexpected and too random

00:58:020 (2,3,4) - really halts the movement real badly, same with 00:59:292 (1,2,3,4,5)

01:02:201 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - only place claps on every 2nd and 4th white tick, this is too spammy right now, overuse of the hitsounds, it creates noise rather than place proper emphasis
01:08:020 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - same thing

Actually, just go over your hitsounds again because it just isn't consistent, and not really used nicely, also you keep using whistle, but it's not really audible
01:32:747 (1,2,3) - this doesn't look like a good pattern to use, you should place them neater and further apart, and more in line with each other so the sliders, especially the first 2 can blanket each other

Also sliders starting on the red tick emphasize the music badly as the slider ends on critical on beats, like 01:34:747 (4,5)


I'll just stop for now, please work on the beats, the hitsounds, the spacing. Even if it takes remapping, that would really help this as right now, it's too messy.

  1. 00:38:020 (3,4,5) - this pattern plays really odd, try to follow the melody instead of just stack+big jump.
  2. 01:07:656 (6,7,8) - hmmm??? why so sudden this extremely hard stream appeared? did you set those rhythm wrong in an accident?
  3. 01:23:292 (3) - i think you can just add nc here and swap 01:23:838 (5,1) - 's nc to spread patterns. same suggestion to 04:07:656 (3,4,5) - .
  4. 01:24:747 (2) - too sudden this hs volume largered... low down the clap's sounding a bit please. same to the stream at 02:40:383 (2) - and 04:10:747 (3) - as well orz.
  5. 03:17:838 (7,8,9,10) - maybe you missed some hitclap hs here? maybe not because you did same style at 04:05:111 (3,4,5,6,7) - .
  6. 03:23:292 (8) - need to set nc for spreading combo counts.
  7. 04:17:111 (1) - consider to ctrl+g this? for there's much big jump at this part.
  8. 04:58:747 (4) - add nc for sudden ds shifting.
  9. thou most of symm style patterns are fine in composing, some ds stuff can arranged better maybe, for example: jumps from 03:30:929 (4) - may follow the vocal track better imo, thou currently it contains much really big jumps with quiet song's track which i don't that agree with. also, for really same tracks, jumps suddenly shorted at 03:37:838 (1,2,3) - giving a really odd feeling in playing imo.
generally, this map is still need more opinion imo. (tbh, symm style is not really my taste, so idk if i can judge this map objectively or not) try to ask more people helping maybe.
